Went on a Saturday night around 7p. We are a family of 6. No wait! Walked right in, sat down, ordered and food was served quickly. Wait staff was very friendly and knew the menu well. Had recommendations and opinions on several dishes. Kids all got fajitas (salmon, shrimp and chicken). I got skirt steak and shrimp dinner and my wife got a chicken dish. The food was great. Stopped in for a late night dinner (8:00) and drinks on Friday night. First thing you notice walking in is the nice decor and the beautiful bar area. Looks like a great place just to have a drink as it is nicely lit and very clean looking. As we were a party of two we were able to get seated fairly quickly. We ordered a margarita and a sangria and they were served quickly and in large glasses. We wound up seeing some friends there and they stopped by our table for a chat. The servers were patient and very nice, bringing us a round of drinks again while we chatted. As it was late we ordered and appetizer platter for two and it was perfect. I went to this place when it first opened. It is in a strip mall so it's a tough spot & restaurants before have run into the same problems but everything about it was GREAT. The food was good, great Thursday night special. I enjoyed everything I drank & ate. I was sad when I returned about a year later to a place that felt like it was lacking a lot. I felt like I was an inconvenience the wait staff, my food was okay & my drink was honestly horrible. It's sad to see a place's spirit die out after only a year. Immediately I wanted to blame it on the driver however the app kept saying the restaurant was "preparing the order" I'm highly pissed because the food looked like it had potential but Had been sitting there for hours! Absolutely horrible experience. Was told the wait would be 45 minutes. We put our name on the list and after an hour checked back. Was told another five minutes or so. Okay,15 minutes later checked back again. At this point get told should be about 20 minutes. Look at the list and see numerous tables that have come in after us have been sat. Ask the hostess what that's about and get told the "manager" said to sit the larger tables first. Asked to speak to him and he could not have been more rude. "Lady it's busy". The arroz con pollo was just flavorless poached chicken chunks in the rice, and the chimichangas were also flavorless and very bland. Popped in tonight to check it out after my bud DT gave it the thumbs up. A really nice bar area had a good vibe and the dining area was nice. Food and service were good and the staff was friendly. Guacamole was made fresh, table-side and it was entertaining watching it made although the rather large tip jar that he had on the cart with a $5 bill hanging out of it was a bit tacky but all in all it was a good experience. We ate the skirt steak with black beans and rice and the sautéed chicken with artichokes. It was very good. We will def go again to dig deeper into the menu. As a side note it was kind of late on a Sunday night so the place was quiet but it looks like it would be a great spot to go for happy hour cocktails. read more

Truly disappointed. We did not receive what we ordered after waiting long time for our meal. They replaced order and the cheese enchiladas tasted like shredded mozzarella and not the usual Mexican cheese. The music was way too loud with one of the instrumentalists carrying a speaker for his instrument making it even louder. At one point speaker was right next to me which was not very pleasant. He ignored us and pretty much gave us a cold shoulder. In an area where there are so many choices, getting an attitude leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. If i could give this place less than 1 star i would. If you want to go out to eat at a place that makes you feel unwelcome and are just straight up rude to you, than this is the place for you. In what world is it ok to give your customers an attitude and blatantly ignore them and walk away while they're speaking to you? Despite it not being a busy night, it took several attempts to get a drink order delivered, which didnt arrive till the meal was complete. A togo order that was placed was straight up forgotten about, never put in or made and when told of this the server didnt even have the slightest bit of kindness to apologize. Not once did someone come to our table to ask how everything was. Water refills had to be asked for. The server was constantly no where to be found and if she was, ignored us still. So sorry for interrupting your day and asking you to do your job. The attitude that was given was definitely deserved. This was my second and last time here. The servers here are all SO nice, and the food is undeniably delicious. However, it is a bit over-priced: we ordered $9 guac, and it was barely enough for 2 people. Ordered a lot food for Mother's Day for the family, walked in to be told that they "don't have guac" because of the avocados ? even after 25 minutes, and two orders of guac. Then I get told they are going to look into it. Afterward about 10 minutes they finally tell me they had the quac I ordered. We get home and the steak we ordered was cold and, the "dinner quesadillas" were basically two tacos...we called about the quesadillas and the girl on the phone had no customer services skills and had no resolution for the problem. We were only told that "we needed to clarify between the appetizer or dinner quesadilla" in which the dinner quesadillas look like tacos? They were not accommodating at all and my mother in law got stuck with a cold bloody red steak that she had to heat up herself on Mother's Day. This was not the first time but the second time ordering out with issues with takeout. Customer service skills of staff need improvement and manager did not even try to speak to my mother in law on the phone to apologize or find any other way to help us have a better experience. To be honest I would not recommend ordering out any food from them at all ever! Food is not up to par and not worth the price, super expensive food for many problems. read more

Unfortunately this is a 1 star review. I have eaten here and loved it in the past. However cinco de mayo was a disaster! I ordered ahead online at 1130 am thinking I will have my food ready for pickup at 545. I arrived and there was a line outside the door just for takeout orders. The hostesses were struggling and couldn't provide any answers why the food wasn't ready. Meanwhile they kept taking orders and the kitchen got more backed up. I waited an hour for my food to be ready. I had to keep asking where my food was and they would walk away like they were checking and never come back. When I asked for a manager I was told he was in the back and couldn't come out. Then I encountered a nasty waitress. After an hour of waiting I tried again with a different person. In a short tone she told me, "can't you see we are busy"? She wouldn't give me her name or get the manager. finally I got someone to help me. In 10 minutes my order was ready. Got home and my kids fries were soggy and my enchilada didn't seem cooked all the way. I called the next day and spoke to a manager. He told me I had to go through Door dash for a refund. I called door dash and they had no idea what I was talking about. I called the restaurant back and spoke to the manager again to be told they were busy because it's mothers day and the same thing was happening and to call back tomorrow to resolve the issue. I gave up at this point. Unfortunately I won't eat here again. There are other trait good Mexican restaurants in the area like Marias and Vallartas. read more

Came in on a Saturday mid day. Ordered drinks for the table and nachos. The nachos were very yummy and filling. The classic margarita was also very good and was not too sweet. However, one of my friends ordered a corona with a malibu shot. They charged ELEVEN dollars extra for the shot and the corona was $6. His one drink ended up being around $17 which is ridiculous. I had an OK experience for my first time here. We came on a Saturday night so there was about a 30 minute wait (no reservations) and once we were seated, everything just took long - we didn't get menus for about 15 minutes; our drinks didn't come for another 20 and our food took about 45 minutes to come after that. They also forgot one of our appetizer orders but considering how long it took to get everything else, we opted to just have the order removed from our check. I was a little bothered by the fact that we weren't offered a complimentary treat or drink or even an apology for the mistake with the missed order, but the owner did not seem interested in making sure his guests are satisfied but more concerned about keeping the tables full. The mariachi band was a nice touch and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was also yummy once it actually came. With all that said, I'd consider giving it another shot on a weekday or for lunch when it is less crowded and hope for faster and more attentive service before crossing it off my list for good. read more

Went here for my mother's birthday because she loves being serenaded! The drinks were strong ! Holy ! But that was a good thing bc I only needed one haha. Mom got a little too happy on those house margaritas though- so just keep that in mind (she's also like 5'1). The atmosphere is lively and open and the Mariachi was great and came around to us more than once (we kept tipping but I'm not sure if other tables did). Only thing I didnt like was how little refried beans I got for my order! Everything was delicious, but literally probably a Tbsp? The beans were so scarce it seemed like a dried out lake haha -- But I also love my beans and that was a turn off because it is pricey and Id like to see my plate full and my stomach NOT wanting after paying that price. Nonetheless, it's possible I got a bad patch -- they were busy so maybe they were rushing? If that's an excuse. If you love your beans make sure they know to bring you a nice amount! Lol read more

I have been in search of a great taco/burrito place with rice and refried beans with great chips and salsa. My favorites have all disappeared so we tried Margaritas, which is close to us. The interior is cute and the service was above average. The food is tasty, but still not good enough to go on my "great" list. Maybe I am too picky? We didn't have drinks, nor did we have any problems with the wait, except for standing there waiting to be helped at first (and it was not busy). My biggest issue was that there were many tables open, but they sat everyone right next to each other on the tables that were 2 tops with one seat in a chair and the other on one long bench.
