We ordered margaritas flights, the flights were good we favored the black cherry the most. They only do them over ice and not frozen. The food wasn't bad it has more of a Tex-Mex flavor to it. On the "Good-Meh-Suck" scale, this was a "Suck". I recall when this place was packed on a weekend night. Boy have times changed. It was never great food but it was decent. We had not been here since pre-pandemic days. More likely it was 2017-18. At that time, the menu was thick. The margaritas actually tasted good. Chips and salsa were decent. Now, the salsa tastes like vinegar. The chips are in a tiny bowl. Water is served in plastic cups. The 16 oz. classic margarita was maybe 8 oz. at best and tastes like $hit. The fish tacos were overcooked battered fish sticks. Dry and tasteless. $2.50 for a thimble of guacamole. Overall, we expect this location to close soon with such light traffic. Such is life. I love this chain restaurant. The one is Nashua is really cool as they are right on the river and in the summer you can sit on their patio that over looks it. My friends and I only had drinks here, but the free chips and salsa always slap. I had the frozen raspberry margarita, which is probably my favorite drink on the menu. This is a great example of Americanized mexican done right. Plenty of options to choose from. The service is really fast so you'll be in and out quickly. They have both indoor & outdoor sitting options. The outdoor option is facing the canal. Their original Margarita without the salt rim is the strongest one I've ever had anywhere. read more

We bailed on margaritas many years ago after being disappointed repeatedly. Decided to give it another chance after not being able to get in the bar at Shortys on Cinco de Mayo. So glad we did. Very busy of course and had the best service. Server constantly checking in on us and thanking us for being patient. Nice of her but the wait was really not excessive at all. Decided to catch up with a friend and they had margaritas on the mind. We sat in the bar. The waitress was friendly, the drinks what you'd expect from a chain: I have never been to a margaritas before and the menu left something to be desired for me. The cons for us was that the table was super sticky. I was using two hands to pry my drink glass off the table so I didn't spill it entirely. Napkins were sticking to all sides of the table. It was just awkward and gross. We ordered Nachos and Chicken tenders. Waitress messed up our order and was prompt about correcting it but the flavor was terrible. We got the BBQ Chipotle Tenders and they were very spicy. Problem is they were spicy for the sake of spicy not spicy and flavorful. I always have a good time here, love their huge bar seating area. Came tonight for happy hour with the ladies and it was great! I got the $6 raspberry margarita and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overly sweet and was not watered down either. Def recommend it! The nachos are a little thin and the salsa always a tad spicier than I like but the food makes up for it. I also got 2 tacos and the waitress recommended the carnitas (pork) and they were huge! Used to love this place but food quality has gone way down from years ago. The queso fundido with chicken was fantastic but they took it off the menu. The fajitas are just ok. There are far better ten minutes away. Their fish tacos are good and their salsa is very good although the chips are often crumbles of chips making it hard to dip into. Used to go once a week. I haven't been to a margaritas restaurant in a few years and all I can say is how disappointed I am. All the food was bland 3 different dishes all the same outcome (not finishing it and leaving it). Our server saw us three time: once to take our drinks, our orders, and to give us the check. We had to flag down a very nice manager that helped us throughout our evening. We sat upstairs our server Cody was very nice but had so many tables she had to take care it made it impossible to get any service. 20 mins to be greeted, 32 mins for drink and appetizer orders and 29 mins for our main order. Every time i am craving a margarita this would be my go-to place. My all-time favorite is the prickly cactus margarita. I also had the Russelrita, which is more like a creamy fruit smoothie. Always enjoy their free chips & salsa. I would get full from the chips and drinks before i get to my entree. I always get the street tacos when i come here. Something isn't right with these drinks. Not worth the money. When we got here there was so many dirty tables and food left everywhere.
