This is my second visit and this time I had the ahi kale salad. This is not a complaint just an observation; my ahi kale salad was actually a ahi arugula salad. Just be aware if you are expecting kale, you may get arugula. Overall, the salad was good and I would try it again kale or no. Our waiter was all business and very efficient. read more

High expectations for Buffets name sake. Went there on a Sunday night. There was no wait to get in and a few tables empty at 7. After 5 minutes we finally saw our server and ordered immediately. 12 minutes we received our non-alcoholic beverages. 43 minutes after we sat down we received our two salads. This isn't fine dining folks. Two salads shouldn't take 40 minutes. Food was so so. Lettuce soggy, and I didn't get dressing with my salad. Even after pointing that out it took another 7 minutes to receive that. Some of the food coming out looked good, but a couple sitting next to us who sat before us didn't receive their entrees until we were finished eating. (Fish and chips). Probably won't come back for a while. Maybe it's first week jitters. Been to the one in New Orleans and it was quite good. read more

Entered at around 2:00 in the afternoon. Ordered drinks. The Blackberry Margarita came as something with grapefruit in it. We had trouble flagging down our waitress (trainee). Finally a supervisor sort came by and got the drink corrected. My "Perfect Margarita" was far from it. The glass was small and I got about 70% ice and lime wedge, and 30% margarita. There might have been a thimbleful of liquor in it. The shrimp dish my wife got was good, but the fish tacos were just so-so. My salmon was overcooked and a bit dry, certainly not worth the $21 they wanted for it. The hamburgers at the adjacent table looked far better than our food. One of supervisory waitstaff told us that 10 people failed to show up for work. Not a good way to run a restaurant. Oh, and the music was so loud I couldn't even hear what the waitress was saying. read more

Worst possible service. I can't remember the last time I was so angry leaving a restaurant. Food is mediocre, at best. Skip the meal, have a drink instead. The drinks are worth a visit but do remember to eat elsewhere. read more

We were driving by and since we had never been to one before, we decided to stop for a drinks and and appetizer. I ended up ordering a Landshark beer and my wife ordered the Bahama Mama (weren't really in the mood for a margarita) and we split the quesadilla appetizer. The Landshark went perfect with the quesadilla. The Bahama mama, my wife said it was good (I personally thought it was way too sweet and didn't like it, but that's not my kind of drink anyway). The quesadilla was really good. Came with guacamole, sour cream and pick de gallo for dipping. Really glad we only ordered the app because we were stuffed after. The overall feel of this place was really cool. Since it was lunch time, it was empty but honestly I loved that. Service was fast and the waitress was really nice (wish I could remember her name). Anyway this was a really cool place to come to and of course after you eat, you have the casino right there. read more

Drinks were good, but everything else was mediocre. My husband ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and his broccoli came out on the plate still wrapped in the plastic bag used to heat it up. Fish tacos were very bland and the shrimp trio was just ok. Grilled shrimp was a little rubbery but edible. It took us seeking out a waiter to finally get service. We were never visited by the manager, so the $250 for 4 people would have been better spent at a steak house! Will not return sadly. read more

This is the third Margaritaville that we have visited. It's more like a tourist attraction than a great place to eat. The menus at all locations are limited, but South Carolina & Florida's were better. At least they had chicken with gravy which isn't included on Tulsa's menu. We didn't even stay to eat at Tulsa. I think this will be our last visit to Margaritaville. You can probably get a good drink here. read more

Decent ambience, and a nice cover band could not make up for sub par food. I got the jambalaya, and while it had a decent amount of chicken, shrimp, and sausage, was bland and not very filling. At $16.99 for nothing but the bowl of jambalaya, I doubt I will be back. It wasn't very crowded, and the service was not very good either. read more

First time to visit Margaritaville Restaurant at River Spirit. We both had coconut shrimp, which was just average. The volcano erupting was cute, but not spectacular. The music was WAY too loud. Why do people think diners want loud music while eating? We just want a nice meal while visiting. Would have given just 2 stars, but the server was very attentive. Of course there were only three other tables to serve. Also beware of construction noise. That will be gone eventually, so that did not affect my review. read more

We ate outdoors on a chilly night but the outdoor heaters actually made it really nice. The atmosphere is fun and entertaining without being loud and obnoxious. The wait staff was very friendly and service was very good. Our glasses never ran dry and they were quick with our order. They have a pretty large menu with food for even picky eaters. I had the Grilled Chicken Dinner and it was very good. They let us pick different sides which was a plus too. We are about to eat some key lime pie that looks really good as well. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. read more

Awful. Service person felt the need to let us know why she was sweating before introducing herself, which is an immediate drug indicator meth/cocaine). We were one of less than 10 tables in the establishment and still waited 45 minutes for our food. The jambalaya was flavorless, and just tasted like the meat with the rice. And my main complaint was watching a mouse scamper around as we waited on our mediocre food to be delivered. I don't understand how a brand new facility can have this problem already. As you can imagine, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and definitely won't be returning. If I feel the need to create a yelp account just to make these things known, then this place must not be worth much of a damn at all. read more

Arrived at 7pm & was told it would be a 30 min wait. We went to the bar, ordered 1 cocktail and 2 draft beers. When I questioned why there was 19.5% tax added to the $20 bill, I was told liquor and casino tax was the reason. After waiting 45 minutes I checked in to see how much longer, they apologized and said we could have been seated OVER 30 minutes ago. They blamed the oversight on the buzzer. Our drink orders were taken immediately after being seated but then had to wait 10 minutes on drinks. It felt like forever for our food to come and then only half of our party's food arrived. We waiting another 8 minutes for the rest of our food. I ordered the blackened ribeye steak and it could have been seasoned more, it was thin and over cooked, not worth the $26.99 cost. It was only after we paid our bill that the manager came to say she was sorry about the evening. Overall I was highly disappointed. I expected better food and better service. Next time I'll just head to Texas Roadhouse, where I know they have better steaks and better service! Don't waste your time and money. read more
