I've been going to Marin tailor for two years now and have only had great experiences going there. I typically go to get pants re-tailored to fit to a more narrowed tapered style and as always is the case, Diego remembers what I'm looking for and just 'gets' it. I've spoken with other tailors before getting work done and what usually happens is you have their own personal 'style' preferences come out in the recommended fitting. Diego listens to what you like and makes recommendations considering the type of stitching and work that might be required. I've been going to Marin for years and can't remind them highly enough. They do incredible work, their prices are fantastic, and they are seriously customer oriented. I love the Euro cut I get here because most of the slim fit actually fits! What a concept. So, off the rack the suit was acceptable except the pants, which were a little too long. Not only did I need a semi-complicated alteration, but since I was only going to wear these dresses ONCE (more yay... ) , I definitely didn't want to spend a lot of money altering them.
