I believe it was Daria (not sure if I spelt that correct) was my server who took the time to explain some of the amazing features. She suggested I sit at the bar as I was alone in business and introduced me to the bartenders. Being Canadian she made it a point to one of the bartenders that liked hockey and introduced me. I was impressed with her knowledge of the various entree's so I asked her to pick my main and whatever drink she thought would go great with it. I couldn't have had a better meal as I don't normally order fish but the pan seared sea bass. Pescado Zarandeado was amazing. Cooked perfectly and paired with a hibiscus margarita that was on par with the meal. Thank you to the kitchen and owners along with the 2 servers behind the bar and Daria for such a great experience. I liked it so much I came back a few days later for tacos which were also amazing. The service was great again even though it was a very busy evening. I will be back and I will suggest this as a must to any friends traveling to the Venice area.

Because it was a busy night, it was difficult to order. The bar staff was slammed which is understandable. We ordered the guacamole which came out in minutes. I love the chips that come with it. They're bigger, so you break them apart to eat. We also ordered the tacos, since it was taco Tuesday and cinco. I ordered the barbacoa and tinga tacos. They were messy. Literally juiced flowing down my wrist. But delicious at the same time. I hate messy food, so that was the only unpleasant part. I've come before and had less messy food, so I'll continue coming back to Chulita.

We beat the dinner rush and didn't have to wait for a nice patio table. The service was impeccable and friendly. There was a festive and fun mariachi band. The calamari cognac was amazing. We were seated in a booth next to a station where we could see a lady making fresh tortillas. We decided on the immortal drink that was seen on posters outside the building. The waiter let us know this drink is made at the bar, but they also had a margarita cart that they bring to the table to make the drinks right in front of you. We were so happy with our choice of the immortal. This drink was so good that we ordered two more each during our time at Casablanca. For lunch I ordered the build your own tacos and I decided on corn tortillas instead of flour. Which the waiter let me know they are homemade just like the flour kind. While we waited for our food, we were given fresh tortillas with this salsa that tasted like avocado. We could not stop raving over the tortillas. They were so fresh and buttery. I would come here just to eat the tortillas and have a drink. The build your own tacos was pretty good. The meat and toppings are all separate so I could build my tacos to my likings. The only thing I wasn't too crazy about was the cheese. The taste was a little too different for me. My friend enjoyed her tacos as well. I was very pleased with the food and hospitality. Parking: There is a small parking lot beside the restaurant. Otherwise expect to park on the street and possibly a few blocks away. This area is pretty busy so I am sure a busy day parking can be tough.

The entire staff was incredibly kind, and the manager, Luis, was very attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. The food is beyond amazing -- everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Since my first visit I have come back multiple times, and have received outstanding service each time. I came on Valentine's Day and it was beautifully decorated. It was also EXTREMELY BUSY, and again, Luis stepped up and became the backbone for his staff. From hosting, serving, bartending, and working hard to make everything flow smoothly. I have such a wonderful experience each time I come, not only with the food but also with the manager and staff. The restaurant is very clean, which makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. No matter the time or how busy it is, my food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and nothing ever feels rushed or forgotten. What really stood out to me was how much the manager seems to genuinely care about both the staff and the overall environment. He was constantly moving around, checking in on everyone, making sure guests are happy and that his team is doing okay as well. It's really warming to see that level of dedication and leadership. Overall, this is one of my new favorite places to come due to my positive and memorable experiences. Great food, amazing service, and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent customer service. "Hoda" saw things differently -- she would not secure bags as every single other restaurant in the country does. No, she would be a rebel and leave those bags loosely tied, inviting drivers to help themselves to whatever was inside. And if food happened to fall out of the bag onto the ground after pickup? Well, it's the driver's responsibility after pickup so more than likely, the food goes back into the bag. Anyone who cares so little about food security should not be working in food service. It makes me wonder what ELSE she doesn't care about...
