    Aguachile

PROS: * The customer service was amazing our server was so sweet, attentive and friendly throughout the experience. * The aguachile was tasty for sure and I really appreciated the complimentary chips and salsa to start the meal. * The cocktail I ordered was delicious and fun * The karaoke was a blast and added a great vibe to the atmosphere. CONS: * I would have liked a little bit more shrimp in the plate that we ordered * we ordered several shots and didn't exactly get the buzz we were expecting. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with a fun atmosphere and excellent service, but there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to portion sizes and drink strength.

Drinks don't have prices on the menus and was unaware that the FRESH LEMONADE have different prices then fountain drinks, we were charged 40dls for 5 natural lemonade. Food was ok, nothing special. Service was good our waitress was attentive. But would not come back.

I come here for my ceviche all the time. But this time I came in and waited 25 mins for my food and on the photo is says Cameron and I only wanted shrimp only like the previous times I came. I got home & called to let them know my order wasn't what I asked for after waiting and spending 30$ they told me they couldn't do anything about it . They put oysters & octopus and only 3 shrimp pieces . If they would have handled this it would have been awesome but at this point I won't be returning ... literally if the title says Cameron why only put 3 pieces and a ton of other stuff. . .

Mangoniada, not only is it delicious but it is also dangerous.

Mr. Shrimp never fails! Great environment for the family. Service is always great as well. Be careful drinking the Mangoniada as you can't feel or taste the alcohol until 20 minutes after you drank it all, haha. Drink carefully. Chips and salsa are complimentary and super yummy. The salsa isn't spicy but taste delicious. Food never fails! My friend got the Peacado Al Mojo de Ajo and well let's say, that fish had no chance. The Shrimp Estilo Louisiana was amazing. They do charge you extra if you you'd like to add the corn, potatoes and sausage. Always recommend this place for birthdays and any get together. Pricing isn't bad and totally worth it.! Restroom and bathrooms are clean!

Spectacular food and drink! Wonderful friendly service! The micheladas were perfect blend. Mojarra fish was tasty. Guacamole and chicharrones with chips...all freshly made in house. Will definitely be back. Don't miss this special place for your night out. We loved our Friday night. (Great music too!)

Friday night, I'm not very fluent in Spanish- so thankfully the menu has English. The staff is friendly and patient. After much debate, I picked some simple dishes.and they are DELICIOUS!

I am from Albuquerque NM. We were visiting the area bc my husband was playing in a pool tournament next door . I was starving so I went to check it out ! It was karaoke night!!!! I ordered a drink from Maria the bartender, who was absolutely beautiful& so sweet! The entire staff including the cook came out to check on me. Honestly the best oysters and seafood setup I have ever had ! I was so impressed I canceled our reservations at maple&ash the next night and bRought our group here again ! We got bacon wrapped shrimp & they were amazing! I will come here everytime I am in Phoenix area! The music, food, staff ALL deserve a raise . We were there Friday and Saturday Jan 2-3 2021!

Could Pier 88 be my new favorite local spot for seafood boil???…read more Yes... yes it is! We ordered three pounds of head-on shrimp. Spice level was medium and went with the 88 Special seasoning (a combination of cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper) - AMAZING flavor!! Perhaps my favorite aspect was that their seasonings were not overly salty - I feel that most other seafood boil restaurants just include way too much salt in their seasonings... but at Pier 88, you can really indulge without feeling like you're going to end up with high blood pressure! Extras included corn, sausage, and potatoes... and those were all delicious as well! I couldn't have been happier with this meal... so I will definitely return again soon! This place looked like it did a good seafood boil and was located near where our hotel was. Upon entering we were greeted and sat right away. He ordered a shrimp basket while I ordered my usual snow crab. Heads up, all the supplies will be brought in the bottom of the discard bucket like gloves, lemons, and crab crackers. I wasn't aware of this, and placed all the discarded items on top of it while eating bareheaded as I didn't see supplies, and no one was around to ask. Usually places will bring on the side, and I wish I was told that in advance when it was brought to the table. It made for quite the mess, but if we return I'll know for next time. Once our server returned to check in after 10+ minutes that's when we were advised, and I adjusted though I had put my boil bag in there so most had been soiled. As for the food, he liked his shrimp while I thought the crab was okay in flavor/spice. It didn't really standout out like other places I've been to recently, but overall I would return if I was in the area.

I'd say - If you want a decent, light on self and pocket - this place wins: the meals are so good that you even have room for dessert and not feel guilty.. you do get the guilty pleasure moment for their standout dish - butter cake. I am little surprised the fish and chips don't get a lot of praise here and it def is praise worthy! Their fried calamari is a little on the oiler side.. but their Clam chowder, oh that compensates well! Now the drinks are another thing I ordered the Two by the sea, oh, for a weekday afternoon that drink was SMOOTH! Going to def the dinner service sometime for sure! I couldn't even get them to soften in the soup. I had to scoop them out. I know they didn't cook the oyster crackers, but maybe pop open a bag every once in a while and test them. Main dish, my favorite, was the Sauteed N'Awlins BBQ Shrimp. I've been getting this dish for years. This time, the shrimp seemed maybe a little overcooked, or something. The meat of the shrimp was becoming a little stringy, but they were still very tender. So, I still enjoyed it. This has always been our choice for a birthday meal, either mine or another family member's. We NEVER tell the staff because we don't want an embarrassing fuss. This year, I had read online that they don't do singing here. So, I mentioned it was my birthday, and I got a free Butter Cake for dessert--another old favorite. Service was top-notch, as always.

Food was ready in 15 minutes. We got the lobster roll which is Connecticut style-my preference-with lots of butter! They had a fish and chips special so we got that too. And a pb&j cookie for my birthday! My husband very recently broke his leg so picking up Chulas with some great lobster was a nice treat! It's not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Being the desert, the quality of Seafood is important, since we are nowhere near seawater and the reputable Chula Seafood is here to serve us, desert dwellers, well. TUNA MELT- it's refreshing to have a tuna sandwich that is not canned tuna. There is a chimichiri sauce that you can get to drizzle on it that really gives a depth of flavor. The bread was a nice sourdough that was not just a cheap white bread and did not get soggy. However, with my sandwich, the bread was burnt so that bitterness ruined the flavor of the delicate fish. My pictures shows a few burnt spots, but on the bottom side was way more burnt and it was like they put the most burnt side on the bottom to hide it and hope I didn't notice. I did not appreciate this. CLAM CHOWDER- creamy and more on the fluid consistency, being made with fresh clams makes the difference. Not the best chowder i've had, but was pretty decent. The fish variety can vary with seasons, but it is nice to get different choices throughout the year. There are limited offerings here compared to the bigger location across town, as far as menu and fish selection. But for a small store it is a good place to get some quality seafood to take home or sit and eat. Check out the great happy hour deals

Surprisingly we haven't seen a lot of vulgar things written, although we did try to correct some grammar as we sat there. There's a giant shark overhead as well as a rowboat. The atmosphere was cool and inviting and they had a few TV's as well so I was able to keep up with the NBA playoffs. I will say they were busy but didn't seem AS busy as other places which makes it a great alternative to those other spots. I stumbled across this restaurant while searching for the best restaurants in Arizona…read more I found an article that consisted of James Beard award nominees for Arizona. Chef Roberto was nominated as the 2024 up-and-coming chef. This restaurant is perfect for a romantic date night or a large gathering. One side of the restaurant features a large bar along with smaller tables. Then, on the other side of the restaurant there are larger tables. I love how the intimate dining is separate from larger gatherings. Definitely a lot of thought and planning went into the Layout of this restaurant. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess. Behind her was a small case featuring oysters. The young woman that seated us was kind and showed us to our seat. Our servers name was Nicki. She was also very friendly and had very good recommendations. To drink I started off with The Phoenix and my husband had a bottled beer. My drink was very delicious. Freshly squeezed citrus juices gave it a bit of a tart taste. It was definitely a deliciously crafted cocktail. For dinner I chose to have the restaurant week menu. Please see photo below. I selected the Birria dumplings. They consisted of Wagyu beef cheek, cabbage slaw, roasted corn, confit, mushrooms, bok choy, beef, broth, and chili sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed them and would definitely get them again. For my main course, I selected the K4 flat iron steak, prepared, medium rare. It was accompanied by Chiltepin sauce - potatoes - flour tortilla - beans. There was definitely something about the potatoes and how they were dry roasted, then added to the beans. The way the potatoes absorbed the residual liquid from the beans created a delicious melody of flavors. Steak was delicious and perfectly. K4 is a. premium Meat shop in Prescott, Arizona. For Dessert, I ordered the Keylime pie. I have to admit I do not like Keylime pie but today I have seen the light! Or should I say spirit? Esprirtu's Keylime pie is the best I have ever had. Less like a traditional pie it's layered and cut into a square. The lime zest on top gave it that extra finishing touch of tart. Thank you to the entire staff for a very delicious and memorable meal. We will absolutely positively be returning.
