Everything I've eaten here is delicious! For a special treat, I ordered the Molcajete Barba Roja which is a beef, chicken and seafood combination. I go on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for half-off tacos. They have a wide variety of tacos including quesabirria taco, smoked marlin taco, grilled fish taco, chicharron de pargo taco (red snapper nuggets), a couple different shrimp tacos, in addition to regular tacos of asado (beef) and pollo (chicken). Right now my favorite taco is chicharron de pargo, and second the shrimp and cheese taco. Quesabirria taco are corn tortillas, but most of the tacos you can choose corn or flour tortillas. read more

We arrived at around 4:30 and the place was packed! Luckily snagged the only open booth. The menu is quite extensive. My wife settled on the whole fried fish (not the Tilapia) and I chose Campechana Especial Cocktail. The fish was fried to near perfection! Crispy skin and moist and tender flesh. As you can see by the before and after pics it was picked clean. My seafood cocktail was packed full! Oysters, shrimp, octopus and scallops. Everything was fresh and very tasty! Given several condiments to add to your taste. Excellent. Atmosphere was loud and boisterous when we arrived. Started to clear out a little by around 5:30. Service was pretty good considering how packed the place was. Was kept fairly clean with so many people. Parking lot is fairly small and was full when we got there, so had to park down the street a ways. The waitresses were something to behold! You'll have to go see for yourself to know what I mean . Sinaloa is a restaurant that I've tried now twice. Both times, I visited with my boyfriend and his parents. When you first get there, you'll notice that it's definitely PACKED. There are cars that fill the parking lot and guests that are jam packed in the tables and booths. You choose where to sit and wait for a server. They do provide menus after you get your chips and salsa (which are amazing). The menu is flooded with amazing seafood options! Both times I have ordered the same thing. Philadelphia Shrimp plate. It's shrimp and Mexican rice in this AMAZING cream cheese sauce. It's amazing! I highly recommend. The only thing I noticed was that the shrimp was not properly cleaned all the way. (The black stringy part on the back) I just tore it off myself and it was amazing. You get DELIcious flour or corn tortillas with your meal. The food is outstanding and I was very happy both times. My boyfriend got the carne asada and the bacon wrapped shrimp. Delicious with the chipotle sauce they provide on the table. We had lunch at 1pm and we were so full when we left that we didn't have dinner that night. That's a success for me when it comes to going out for food. I loved the environment and I felt the music in the background was great. I've seen other reviews saying that it's too loud or whatever but I disagree. If you're looking for a quiet environment to eat, don't go here. But if you're looking for a place that offers great music, amazing food and friendly servers, this is the place. They do speak Spanish to you first, but if you speak English, they'll speak that to you also. I don't speak Spanish but my family does. I didn't mind it, it made the experience feel very authentic and I was pleasantly happy with visiting. We will be back again! read more

I have been going to Sinaloa's for years and I'm never disappointed by the food. Everything I've tried there has always been good, but my favorite is the shrimp cocktail. It's really delicious and they do not skimp on the shrimp. l also think they have the best micheladas. The restaurant can get busy and at times and the service can be slow. But the servers are all so friendly and really try their best. If you're ever in Mesa and craving mariscos you should definitely check out Sinaloa's. read more

This is genuine authentic Mexican food. It's a vibe inside .. you feel like you're in Mexico- it's awesome. It can get busy at night but they always make space. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and efficient. It's totally fine if you don't speak Spanish because the staff is bi-lingual. They have a robust menu from whole fish plates to quesadillas and veg options. Their version of a jalapeño popper is so good- it's the whole pepper with seeds removed so it's not spicy but you get so much flavor. read more

The other aspect of the environment is the extremely loud level of the music. It's so exaggerated that it reaches levels of senselessness. Hearing protection would be required if they were audited by OSHA or MSHA; ridiculous! I might consider going again but only with hearing protection! I believe they would be more successful if they would just lower the music volume to a more reasonable level where guests would enjoy the music but still have a conversation over a nice meal. Dining is an experience that should touch all of the senses to be exceptional. I don't get out to the eat valley too often so it was nice to try something completely different. Though not a fan of seafood they offer many other items to please the picky eaters like me. You get a real taste of the culture here. Your greeted with an "HOLA" as soon as you walk through the door. Spanish style music blaring off and on from the juke box. The staff is welcoming and attentive as the two minute rule applies here. I had my drink order and chips/salsa as soon as I sat down. The chips were served warm with a mild salsa and a bowl of half cut limes. I was impressed with that. They don't offer specials but have a nicely priced menu. My table had drinks, carna asada tacos, flour tortillas, beans, rice and guacamole. Everything is great. Our food was cooked and served fast. Our food overall taste really good. read more

This has been one of my favorite marisco spots for years. It's been a while since I've been here and I'm so happy I came back. They definitely renovated this place and it looks really nice! They painted the walls to remove the mural and the bathrooms actually look really clean and nice now. The food here is amazing! I haven't had anything I don't like here. Whether it be seafood or carne asada, I know I'll be satisfied. Today I ate a ceviche tostado and camarones aguachile and they both were amazing. The aguachile is actually spicy- some places I go to don't make it spicy enough. I also had a michelada and they make theirs so good! Sadly some of the waitresses are not wearing masks properly. What looks like the supervisor is also without a mask, he is making drinks and packing up food. They are also not enforcing guests coming in to wear masks. Fortunately, our waitress wore a mask and gloves. She was also very nice. "This place is scratching an itch that I didn't even know I had!" Those were my first words when our food came out. This is a restaurant specializing in mariscos, which is something that you're probably not overly familiar with. Too many people think of Mexican food as just tacos and burritos, but you truly owe it to yourself to experience the amazing meals that you can have at a restaurant like this. We ordered three things- Molcajete Barbaroja, Fried whole fish, and Oysters on the half shell. Also a glass of horchata, and some water. So there ya go. The Molcajete was amazing. I had NO idea how much I had been craving a dish like this, but now I have a new favorite. The octopus was grilled PERFECTLY, with just a hint of char and an amazingly soft-yet-chewy texture. It's one of those things that you just can't really describe- you just have to have it and fall in love with it. A piece of skirt steak was also in the mix, and it was just incredible. You pull it apart with your fingers, sop it with a tortilla, hit it with a squeeze of lime and hot sauce, then you're all set. The fried fish was fried perfectly, which isn't as easy as it sounds. It's common with these sorts of dishes to overcook them, even with good intentions. This fish was perfectly juicy on the inside and crisp on the outside. The meat was delicious, and the beans and rice which came with it were amazing. It's remarkable how good beans and rice can actually be, but it also sort of sucks because you know that once you have the really good stuff, you won't be able to go back to the bootleg shit that you grew up eating. And now, a word about the oysters on the half-shell. This is another case in which Mexican cuisine FAR outstrips what we poor gringos are used to (see Shrimp Cocktail as well). Their version of oysters on the half shell involves slices of raw shrimp, scallops, red onions, and fresh avocados. It's basically a mini-ceviche on an oyster shell, and once you've had it you won't be able to go back to oysters with watery cocktail sauce and horseradish. In short, this place is a jewel. The menu is all in Spanish with a little bit of English, but there are more than enough pictures to give you an idea of what you might like to order. People have remarked about this being in a 'sketchy' area, but that's just the price that you pay for authentic food. I wouldn't recommend walking five blocks south, but unless you're up to no good you wouldn't have any reason to do that anyways. :) read more

The wait staff was the perfect combination of attentive and just friendly enough ( weren't constantly pestering you or too chatty). Our absolute favorite seafood place, hands down. Fresh. Good portions. Ranchera playing. As authentic as it gets. Do not let the location fool you. Seafood is my thing. I love it endlessly. When it comes to the seafood, I have yet to find a boring dish. I order the mojarra frita or al mojo de ajo (-whole- tilapia fried or slathered in crushed garlic), though I usually favor the huachinango (whole red snapper) because when it comes to the bones it is naturally easier to eat. No fault of the restaurant. Note: When I say whole, I mean the whole thing. Head, fins, tail~ gutted and de-scaled of course. Delicious! Never ever forget the corn tortillas and lime wedges! I also order the osteones especiales...special oysters. They come raw with scallop, shrimp, jalapeno, and avocado in each half shell, marinated in lime juice and topped with red onion. I love these so much, I can finish at least a dozen by myself. The ceviche is amazing as well. I treated my parents to these when they came to visit from California and my father said that his favorite place of 10+ years for mojarra in Cali did could not compare at all to Restaurant Sinaloa. Sorry, dad! This is a definite must when they visit now. Service was shaky at our last visit as the waitress was not as attentive as I would have preferred, but that's okay. I came here with my mom and cousins and it was excellent. We ordered guacamole first, it was very fresh and you could tell it was homemade. I ordered shrimp which was really good. What a hidden gem in Mesa. Having eaten at a great seafood restaurant in Sinaloa, I have never forgotten the Scallops we were served. I just had the equal at Sinaloa Restaurant. Topped these off with Bacon Wrapped, Crab Stuffed Shrimp. Also, my server, Maury, was great. Always a step ahead of what I was about to ask for. I'm not a fan of sea food, but this place is a must. I call it "the best spot to recover from a hang over", no kidding. This was my 3rd time and I was as pleased as the last 2. Try the toritos (peppers filled with shrimp and wrapped in bacon, on a soy-like sauce). Three of those plus a "michelada" (beer with lime juice, clamato and salt) and you'll be better than with an IV. You can also try the shrimp broth, it takes you back from the grave (the booze grave). The shrimp cocktail is great, with fresh cucumber. Pour some lime juice and ask for ketchup and you'll be thrilled. My brother had the shrimp wrapped in bacon, there were pretty good. The service was pretty good and friendly. Actually I went there with a friend who has several restaurants and restaurant experience and he pointed out that the service was better than average. One note. If you're white supremasist, a mexican hater, kkk, confederated, Arpaio lover and so on, this might not be your place. Most of the patrons are hispanic and also all the waitresses. Me and my family go here all the time. It is authentic Mexican Seafood for sure. I've had several different items and all are great. Sometimes the service is a little slow (depends on which waitress you get and how busy they are) but the food makes up for it. Don't worry about not speaking english, go enjoy and you won't regret it. Yes the music is loud and it's always super crowded on Friday and Saturday nights.
