Adequate repair and paint on passenger side rear. Except that a year later the replaced panel will not stay in place. It keeps popping out. I assume the plastic clips were either used or low quality. Also the taillights in the same-side assembly randomly stop working. When we booked the repair the manager promised us the work would be done in one week. This was critical timing because we needed the car available to drive to Ca for surgery. On the day it was supposed to be complete, the car wasn't ready. That was stupid on ice because we told the manager when we booked that if the deadline was a problem we'd bring the car in when we got back from Ca. He assured is that it wouldn't be a problem. When the vehicle was finally ready, the interior was covered with sanding dust as was the rear tire. IOW, they didn't bother to cover the interior or to clean it. When I asked about it he acted like I was the stupidest person on the planet. "Here, I'll show you", he said, and wiped some of the sanding dust off with a rag. I asked him why he didn't clean it up before we picked up the car and he just glowered. Never offered to clean up the mess, either. I bashed into a pillar ( thousands of $$ of damage) and couldn't get the driver's door open. I called Mark's Body shop and Hayden- super nice- told me they were booked for 2 wks but if we came by, they could probably help us out with the door. Anyway, when we got there, a really nice guy came out- turns out he is Rick, Hayden's dad- looks at the door, went and got a tool, and simply fixed it so the door would open!! ( we'll get the work done when we leave for MN in 2 wks). He wouldn't let me give him ANY $$ and said, " Aw, just keep it and go buy some ice cream". Now, understand I got no official repairs done there BUT that is outstanding customer service! And when I move here soon, I will certainly remember Mark's Body Shop! read more

I have taken my Prius to Mark's twice and have no problem with the quality of their work, but I have a huge problem with their inability to complete the work when they said they would. Most recently I took the car in on April 11, 2023, with a guarantee that it would be completed on April 14th. I called on the afternoon of the 14th and was told the car would be ready on Monday the 17th. I called on the morning of the 17th and left a message to let me know when I could pick up the car. After not hearing back, I had my wife drive me to the shop. I was then told that the car wouldn't be painted until Monday afternoon and that it would definitely be ready around noon on Tuesday, April 18th. At 2:00 PM on Tuesday the shop called and said the car wouldn't be ready until Wednesday, April 18th as there was an issue with the paint. The original problem was a 2" scratch in the passenger door caused by road debris. In my experience, Mark's Body Shop doesn't keep their word and is not dependable. read more

By FAR my best experiences with body shops have been at Mark's! Francisco, the main man there is just outstanding. His estimates are completely reasonable, he is a great guy and is a master at matching paints which often negates the need to paint an entire side of a vehicle only because that side is all one piece. My small motorhome had some relatively minor damage just in front of the rear bumper. A neighboring body shop wanted to dismantle and paint the entire side of my coach to the tune of $13,000. Francisco found that unnecessary, instead saying only the small damaged area needed to be addressed. For just a few hundred dollars (it might have even been less) the repair was made and he matched the existing paint perfectly. I also had another extremely satisfying experience with Mark's regarding more substantial damage and the job was done perfectly. Francisco has a good reputation with my insurance company (State Farm) so they trust his estimates (always reasonable) and don't have a need to send out a rep to assess the damage. Came in with a fiberglass bumper that had some slight damage to the bracket that connects it to the wheelwell and I left with a excellent work plus money still in my wallet. They did make it right but it was trouble for me since I only have the one vehicle, so am without a car while they have it. Twice the time it should have taken. I had Mark's body shop repair a fiberglass bumper tear on my 2016 Cadillac Escalade. Mark's price was better than quoted by the Cadillac dealership. I had a concern that Mark's Body shop might not be able to replicate the 3 stage tri-coat custom premium paint. Based on the other reviews that say Mark's does pride themselves in matching the colors exactly, I selected Mark's body shop. Mark's body Shop did an outstanding job repairing the bumper tear and painting.
