This is 5 stars for me. We were very excited to try this new local spot! So needed upcountry and locally owned. Open air restaurant with quick service and staff. They are just in the opening weeks of business but had it down great on our visit. Immediately seated at 5:30 pm on a Friday. It became much busier after. Wonderful wine selection! They also have beers from the new brewery next door! Love the layout. Service was quick and engaging. Outdoor and indoor seating available. We had the meatballs--delicious!! We had ordered our pizzas but took it to go as our friends showed up next door at the brewery s we wanted to run over to meet them. They were great to change ours to a to go pizza. this review is a little biased because I went in with such high expectations and was let down. I got the potato pizza with mushrooms and garlic. the dough was great..the stuff on top though, could be seasoned better...like way better. The confit garlic wasn't really charred properly so you didn't get the unctuous garlic taste you'd expect from a brick oven. my biggest pet peeve is when a restaurant serves water on a hot day without ice. why?!? as soon as you walk in the door the waft from the pizza oven raises your expectations and our waitress was really really nice. if they get the seasoning right and serve cold water then, this might be a winner read more

The food is pretty good. It was better the first time we went. This time was a disappointment because our server only delivered the food and nothing else. We had a bunch of dirty plates cluttering our table after the appetizers. She wasn't busy and would walk by and look at us, but never cleared anything. It's super annoying when we are spending a lot of money to go out and have a better experience than making the food and cleaning up at home. Also I didn't like that they add a kitchen charge without mentioning it. So if you are a normal 20% tipper than you are actually tipping 23% for, in this case terrible service. read more

I am a resident and live on the opposite end of the Island but every time I cross over I drive the extra 15 minutes for their outstanding Pizza. First thing! Amazing despite the pricing. It's worth it! My friend loved the anchovy pizza not oily anchovies it was a clean and a lot of them on their pizza. Every time I've eaten here I'm am not disappointed. I would like my salad chopped more down to manageable pieces. I want to be able to get the dressing on all of the greens. Besides this amazing amazing Gem near the amazing Mahalo Ales Brewery. And all you tourists clean up your mess when you order and eat at the brewery. Pleasantly surprised! We were a bit hesitant to eat here due to some of the less-than-favorable reviews, as well as the prices, but are glad we did! The pizzas were much larger than we expected, as some past reviews referenced them as small. I'm not sure if they changed the sizes recently or not, but the size pizza we got could easily feed two people with leftovers. We got the potato pizza out of curiosity and were pleasantly surprised by it and its interesting balance of flavors. We got takeout, and while picking the order up the employees were very pleasant and the service was quick. We appreciated getting a text when our order was ready. Overall, recommend! read more
