Unimpressive Service and Disappointing Food Quality I recently dined at Marlow's Tavern- Roswell, and unfortunately, it was not a great experience. From the start, the service left a lot to be desired. My server seemed more interested in socializing with other tables than actually attending to mine. I had to wave them down several times just to get basic attention, which made me feel like an afterthought. I ordered several appetizers, but they were brought out so quickly that it felt like they had been sitting around, pre-prepared. The freshness and presentation were lacking, and the flavors were bland and unimpressive. To top it off, I ordered the crab dip to-go, and when I got home, I was incredibly disappointed. It was watery, didn't smell anything like crab, and honestly, it looked so bad I didn't even attempt to eat it. I've had crab dip many times, and this was by far the worst version I've encountered. For a place that seems to have a good reputation, this experience was a huge letdown. Between the poor service and subpar food, I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon. read more

Yes, I realize this is a corporate owned restaurant, and not usually the type of place I would go to. Yes, they have a couple of dozen locations in two different states, which adds to the corporate restaurant "vibe". But, this location in particular, is a great "go to" for drinks and/or food. Excellent food. Good beer selection. Great cocktails. Good liquor and wine selection. Outstanding and friendly service. Good location with lots of parking available. The menu is varied, even if it is a bit "corporate restaurant menu", but there are still unique food options. And, overall, the food is darn good! Bottom line: Good choice for lunch/dinner/beverages in a strip mall type location. read more

Stopped in for a drink in the bar on Friday - (even though the parking lot and restaurant/bar area were overflowing because of the Roswell HS football game) we stayed and had dinner. We continue to return thinking it will change but honestly the service is horrible every time. The waitresses disappear and we can never figure out where they go since it is one open space. We really like the food but stay away from this location. The one in East Cobb blows this place away. We seem to always wait to have our order taken and then the longer wait to just get a couple of burgers! Also we have to constantly ask about our order and the staff is never proactive. It is a bit pricey, but what do you expect for the Roswell area. I have grabbed a bite for lunch one time and the experience was the same.
