Vodka Martini

Great job making a great martini. Keep up the good work Juan. We stopped in for a drink and got great service.

Appetizer: Can't remember the menu name. Some kind of shrimp.

Out of all the Marlows Tavern locations I've ever been to...this location WON! Service was a little slow but that food was A1! Every dish was served with love. The server was patient and attentive. The cooks did their thing. I dont want to go to another location. This is the one from now on. Its in a hotel, so parking is a hit or miss. Not a big deal. Also they have a roof top with live music on the weekend.

I'm a regular and I love that they offer a rewards program. My recommendations are the asparagus fries, blueberry lemon drop, and crab cake sandwich. Juan is my favorite bartender!

The food was great, and the service was awesome. The ambiance was good and was directly next to the hotel. I enjoyed visiting this location.

This is connected to the Doubletree hotel in Tucker. The food has been great each time we have come. We always get the chips no matter what. We have been here on several occasions and cant say that we had had a bad experience. Usually the wait is not long to be seated. The staff is always pleasant. I think we have tried everything on the menu so when we go back we already know what we want. They do have this rewards program that we decided to join. Because we go here so much it pays to join the club. The prices are reasonable and the portions are usually good sized. We only have visited the Tucker location but I am sure we will be visiting other locations as well. We come here so often I think the staff knows us by name which is always good. We will definitely continue to patronize this establishment.

Coming into it, around early dinner time hour, it was fair to say a slow evening for a Saturday. This provided us a fair chance to be able to not feel rushed during this experience. Server and food runners were on point. Server knew the menu and what to suggest as popular meals and what his favorites were. He also informed us that food was made from scratch and the ribs were already sold out! Bummer as that would've been a go to choice! The restaurant it self seemed cleaned and a sleek look to it. We chose 2 fried chicken meals and steak and frite. These dishes were to brag about 100%, wish I could've met the head chef and supervisor on shift to let them how wonderful the food was and that the staff have great personality and professional! This chicken meals were beyond what could've fool me as a homemade chicken made by someone's grandma! The steak was cooked to perfection that could've melted in your mouth. Due to my son's birthday, the server offered a complimentary dessert for him to have! I recommend this place or their other locations 10/10!

Came here on a Sunday evening. I've always wanted to try this place. It wasn't very busy. I sat at…read morethe bar and my bar tended/server was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere felt like a casual new age, better, slightly more upscale and elegant version of Applebees, if that makes sense. Homey vibe but elegantly casual? Off rip I ordered a sweet tea which was phenomenal. It tasted like it has a slight peach undertone to it, and it was the right amount of sweet. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp as my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and brussels (I dont like coleslaw). I was told the bacon wrapped shrimp was a new menu item. For $19? They were cool. The fried chicken was really good. It was still steaming hot inside, when I took my first bite. The chicken was tender and had a good crunch to it. The brussels were okay. I typically like a more sweet glaze on my brussels but they did the job. I liked the mashed potatos, they were a little runny; the gravy made up for that though. I'm not a biscuit person but the biscuit that came with this meal was very soft, fluffy, moist, and had butter throughout. It was a bummer the only choices of hot sauce available were Tabasco and Cholula. I usually like Texas Pete, Crystal, or Louisiana hot sauce in my chicken. I WILL say, the monkey bread was SOOOOO good. So soft, warm, with apples and vanilla ice cream. If I knew it was this good I would have ordered 2 to go. Ultimately everything my was good, I had a great experience, and lots of leftovers.

A decent size parking lot, a round-robin of customers & I spoke to a few who are repeats- they love it! The restaurant is clean & organized- booths & tables. Charging stations (plugs) available as well. Walk up counter, place order, wait for your number to be called. Do not be in a rush- made-to-order!! Worth the wait!!! If you are not starving- split a meal with a friend- portions are huge & truly DELICIOUS!!! Ask for sauces, if you want. They have tartare, cocktail & homemade hot sauces. Fresh lemons too. Pepsi products, sweet/unsweetened tea... NO ALCOHOL! Outstanding employees! All so nice! Big menu- ask for one if needed, they have scrolling screens & it is hard to figure out. Menu is best to figure out what you want. Literally EVERYTHING was SO fresh & delicious!!! Mom thought salty, so maybe ask for light/no salt if this is a dietary restriction. They have fresh & fried options. Here are pics of our meals. All left with to-go's. Note, meals are served in to-go containers, not actual plates. The music is fun but WAY WAY WAY too loud. Heads up. I do use AI to write these easily, so pardon the clunkiness lol…read more The Food The menu here is a really cool take on elevated yet comfortable Southern food. After a few visits, I've tried a good variety of the menu: * **Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich:** This is served open-face and uses a mix of Sichuan and Calabrian chili. It is absolutely amazing, but fair warning: it is *hot*. Even if you're used to Sichuan spice, this one may still be tough to deal with, but it's still incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. Just keep in mind that they don't adjust the heat level for this one. * **The Greens:** These are wonderful. They have a rich, savory pork flavor and are easily a must-order for me every single time. * **Shrimp and Grits:** This has a fantastic sauce that strikes the perfect balance--not too heavy, but not watery either. My only minor wish is that they'd add some andouille sausage to it (even if raised the price), but it's still a really well-executed dish. * **Southern Pho:** Really great and super hearty. It's a comforting bowl, though probably best enjoyed during the winter months. * **Drinks:** The cocktails are always creative and well-made, and they keep a really interesting beer list on hand too. ### 2. The Ambience The vibe here is great. The interior feels like a charming, cozy little house you'd find in Savannah. I especially love the bar area, which has these really cool copper chandelier lights that give the space a warm, inviting glow. ### 3. The Service The staff has been consistently friendly and welcoming every single time I've been here. The Summary I honestly feel lucky to live close to this place. It doesn't get much love or mentions from the Atlanta social media crowd and local press (the good news is you won't encounter a lot of annoying people lol).. I'm a fan though.

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

I'm usually wary of ordering oysters during the hotter months, but the recent photos online looked promising, so I decided to order a dozen: half raw and half chargrilled. They were good! However, a couple of the raw oysters were barely a bite, so for the price, I'd definitely choose more grilled oysters--they offered better value in both taste and size. For our entrees, I ordered the LaGarde Smash Burger with Cajun fries, and my boyfriend had the Shrimp PoBoy with Cajun tots. The burger and PoBoy were just okay, but the sides were disappointing. The tots were essentially balls of grease. I know fried food is naturally greasy, but these tasted like straight oil with very little potato left inside, so they may have been overcooked. Of the two, the fries were on the better side. The service, however, was excellent. Everything came out quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, I'd consider coming back for the chargrilled oysters!

Looks a little sketchy from outside and surrounding area, but don't worry it's a good place! Discovered this place via yelp, searching for a dinner location anout halfway between Decatur and Lawrenceville, as we were meeting friends and neither of us wanted to travel too far. Seeking economical choice with good food & drinks. Mission accomplished here! Wasn't our first choice. Dining on a Monday is hard, as so many restaurants are closed. But it turned out to be an excellent choice, as we loved our apps, drinks and meals. Had a nice size table with plenty of room in the quieter dining area in the back, away from the bar and TVs. There are TVs in back area as well, just not as many. Started with the nachos with beef chili, and the blackened brussel sprouts. Both were delicious and gone quickly! I had the cheeseburger salad. After all this deep fried, heavy southern food and grits, wanted something a little lighter. The portion was huge, and it was delicious. Onion rings were delicious. Huge plate for a side dish. Others had various wraps, and everyone loved their meals. Good tap beer selection. We had a variety of cold ones. My husband got wings which were listed as jumbo. They were an ok size, but definitely not jumbo. He did like the taste of the hot wings. I got the southwestern quesadilla which was ok. The quesadilla was not completely filled to capacity. I wouldn't order it again though. The chips and salsa that came with it were terrible. The chips tasted like those fried chip things you put in your won ton soup at a Chinese restaurant and the salsa was inedible. It tasted like it had gone bad or they just make a gross salsa. The best part was the fried basket with pickles and jalapeños. Those were very good except $10 seemed a bit high for this appetizer. $7 or $8 would make more sense.
