    Lunch Buffet

They have a lunch buffet that offers different Moroccan dishes. The buffet wasn't huge but they did have some things like biryani, pasta, roasted chicken and various curries/stewed veggies. We thought the food was decent - I particularly liked the roasted chicken as it was still super juicy and tender. My Moroccan friend mentioned that this wasn't the most authentic but decent due to limited options in the DC. This place is family owned and the servers were very friendly. Decent option when you're craving Moroccan food in DC.

This is a lovely Moroccan restaurant with an excellent atmosphere. The menu is thoughtfully curated--small enough to feel approachable, with clear and easy-to-understand descriptions. The food was quite tasty (I've uploaded photos), and it was exactly what I expected. Personally, I would have enjoyed it a bit spicier, but the flavors were still well balanced and authentic. We visited on a Saturday and ordered from the regular menu. The buffet is available Monday through Friday, which I think would be a great option--especially for anyone new to Moroccan cuisine. Our host, Hanadi, was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, very friendly and everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The manager, Hossem, even offered our group Moroccan tea and personally poured it for us, which was a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We would try the buffet next.

I had a kicking Kabob and a Heineken and it tasted really good I should come back for the buffet because what I had tonight was really good and the buffet might be even better

Tonite ! I had a beautiful dining experience in beautiful setting with my sister with all the flavors ! We had Lamb Tagine and Moroccan salad and Zaalouk and Harira soup. The ambiance was beautiful it had colorful elegant visuals everywhere felt like I was transported to Morocco . This place has been open for about 30 days and I was visiting my sister in DC and had to try! I would recommend this place to everyone with a palette and loves amazing vibes and food !

The food was so incredible, I can't believe I've lived here for years and never tried this place. Can't wait to come back for another buffet experience

All the way down to the mayo wallpaper in the restroom! As a Dukes Mayo fan, that's awesome! To the food and drink. We had a pickle soda and local sour beer. Both were great and tasty on a hot day. We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors. All in all this place is a gem of a sandwich shop / bar. Would recommend if you are in the area.

The food was good. The hot nug sandwich had a nice tangy taste. Not too spicy and was very manageable. I'd had lived more spicy but the flavors were still very satisfying. The fries were great too. I really enjoyed the sauces and couldn't stop eating them. I'd definitely recommend Thai place if you are looking for a good sandwich and a quick bite!

Most people order their sandwiches to go. The line can get pretty long, but you get through at a decent pace, I wouldn't say fast. Simple and straightforward ordering process, just remember what you ordered because they don't take names. I go between the Crunchy Boi and the Marisa Tomei Eats Free, which are both great. The Crunchy Boi is probably their most popular sandwich and it's lighter than you would think considering it's filled with potato chips. I think it's worth trying once. The Marisa Tomei, on the other hand, has never failed me. It's balanced with an absurd amount of arugula against the meat, and it's never dry. The portions are generous, like you could definitely split it into two meals, but they're not so heavy that you couldn't finish a sandwich in one sitting.

They operate a deli counter in the front and a bar / speakeasy in the back. You can rent out the bar space for private events. Last night, we had the space (and a bartender!) to ourselves, along with 3-4 different types of sandwiches. There is something SPECIAL about their seeded Italian bread. The perfect flakiness and texture. I enjoyed the chicken fontina and Italian. The caprese was my least favorite--not sure if they use a balsamic or what, but the flavor wasn't coming through. Before I left, I decided to order a large chicken cheesesteak to take home for lunch the next day. It was a bit of a risk to order a hot sandwich that I would have in the fridge overnight but I heated it up in our air fryer/toaster oven for all of 10 mins and the bread was good (not soggy) and the sandwich itself was delicious. I enjoyed it so much, I didn't stop to take a photo until the last bite :) It's a decent size sandwich--I ate half for lunch (along with my own chips and veggies) and have another half for tomorrow so while it's not cheap, I think it's reasonable.

The Portfino sandwich hit the spot and bursting with flavor in every bite! The sandwich was stuffed with a heap of veggies (mushrooms, peppers, onions, arugula) with goat cheese and topped with lemon aioli, delicious! The Monaco roasted veggie sandwich is very flavorful! The sandwich was stuffed with fried eggplant, grilled zucchini, stracciatella, tomato, arugula and roasted red pepper spread. The Parmigiano sandwich with eggplant was more like a Caprese sandwich with fresh mozzarella cheese, greens, tomato, and crispy thinly sliced eggplant stuffed between scrumptious moist Focaccia bread. This isn't a traditional sloppy Joe's Eggplant Parm sandwich (there's no marinara sauce!) While the ingredients were neatly tucked inside and I enjoyed the sandwich, the sandwich particularly was a little bit dry and I think a bit of sauce like pesto or marinara would go a long way.
