A traditional Italian restaurant located in the Upper East Side of NYC, offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was very friendly and efficient. I had the Branzino fish with spinach for $29.75. I felt the fish had an odd taste. The others enjoyed their pasta and fresh gnocchi.

This is a great date spot - a little pricey, big portions, and dim lighting so you can make sure your date goes home full and impressed. My friend and I came at 7:30 on a weeknight - not busy at all, plenty of space. They have an extensive wine list but unfortunately don't price by the glass. We split the spaghettini pomodoro e basilico and the pollo alla bolognese - frankly, they were enough for two people and then some. A little salty but definitely flavorful and well prepared. The panna cotta for dessert was the perfect topper. All in all, a nice place for a quiet catch up meal!

Root lo di Pasta - ricotta, mozzarella, spinach - very good

Very good dinner. My husband started with the beef carpaccio and really enjoyed it. The beef was thinly sliced and there was a good amount of Parmesan cheese. He added a bit of salt because it needed a little more flavor. I got the salad which came with endive, artichoke, hearts of palm, Parmesan and lemon and olive oil dressing. It was light and tasty. My husband also got the fresh rolled pasta with spinach, ricotta, mozzarella and tomato sauce and really enjoyed it.

Whole lotta burrata :) didn't share- all mine!

Big fan of this Italian joint. Sat bistro style and had fun people watching in fresh air. Very intimate setting. Enjoyed the burrata with cherry tomatoes and pesto and didn't want to share. Did however Share a bottle of wine if you can tell by my review :) my salmon entree was cooked perfectly and Caesar salad was homemade goodness. Loved tasting the anchovies!

Great Italian in a great city.. This is a lovely little place on 1st Ave making genuine Italian food. The seafood risotto is lively as is the lasagne and shrimp linguini...

Even if we wouldn't have gotten a window table and it wasn't Christmas, the vibes and interior of this place would have still been great. We went in December night of 2024 so some aspects of the menu have changed however, most of the dishes still appear to be on their menu as of now, June 2026. It appears most changes comes to the type of pasta used in a dish, aspects around a dishes main focus and gelato/dessert flavors. Everything we ordered was an 8 or above out of 10. The beet salad (BARBABIETOLE) is easily 10/10 and a top 3 salad we have ever had. The chocolate cake with gelato (TORTINO DI CIOCCOLATO) was 10/10 and the best dessert we had at Da Andrea. We ordered 3 total, including the ricotta cheesecake and tiramisu. Tuna Tartare, gorgonzola pasta and bolognese are 9's. The fritto misto, the other pasta we ordered and the other 2 desserts are 8's. If you're in New York make reservations and go. My Wife found this place and made reservations. Only thing I regret after looking at additional photos is not ordering the grilled pork chop.

The pasta was al dente perfection and most importantly there were generous sauce portions. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and personable. I dined with a friend and we ordered 3 pastas instead of an appetizer (fantastic choice). We tried the following dishes: *Garganelli Mushroom Ragu and Ricotta Salata. This was by far our favorite dish. It was bursting with flavor, had tons of sauce and cheese and was perfectly cooked. If you enjoy mushroom you MUST order this!! *Tagliatelle Bolognese Bianco (Chicken, Veal, Pork) and Parmigiano. Which was so delicious and has plenty of meat and sauce. The tagliatelle was amazing and tasted to fresh. *Bucatini with Pancetta, Tomato, Chilies and Pecorino. We thought this was good but our least favorite dish of the 3. Honorable mention to the spaghetti that my friend had at her last visit. She said it was fresh and delicious but almost too rich which she mostly owned to it being a white sauce.

We started with the housemade focaccia and Wagyu carpaccio--both were outstanding, with the perfect balance of crispy, flavorful, and fresh elements. My partner and I shared the pasta, hangar steak, and potatoes, which turned out to be the ideal amount for two. We finished with the famous olive oil cake, which we loved for its subtly sweet, moist and tender bite. Served with lightly whipped cream and raisins, the combination was surprisingly delicious. We were also touched by the complimentary anniversary scoop of ice cream. The interior seating is a bit snug, but the decor is beautiful--elegant yet homey. The service was good as well. Overall, we highly recommend L'Artusi for a special night out!

Water and excellent bread arrived immediately and the waiter was helpful describing dishes and giving advice. Salads were fresh and crisp. Caesar was nicely dressed and the mixed salad was a nice combination with well balanced herb vinaigrette. Seafood dishes had large amounts of fresh seafood and the veal picatta had the lemony flavor you expect without excessive acidity. Dessert was tasty and innovative. The ricotta based cheese cake wasn't as smooth as the cream cheese form but the citrus flavor was great. I read the reviews mostly good so I was hoping for the best. My friends and I were not disappointed. The first thing I noticed was there were 7 people in my party and 4 arrived early and did not have to wait for my arrival to be seated. Second the waiter who took our order was polite and on point with specials and knowledge of the menu. He (just never caught his name) suggested the Rigatoni which chicken and sausage. I am not really a pasta eater but baby that dish could change that; it was DELICIOUS. I even liked the anchovy dressing on my Caesar Salad and I dislike anchovies. All the dishes ordered (chicken parm, mussels chicken paillard etc.) everyone enjoyed them immensely. The only negative was when the Chicken Paiikard arrived it was supposed to a shared dish by the elderly couple and they asked for regular dinner plates from one of the servers. It took the gentleman who took our order to step in and said sure, lucky their food was still hot. Common Sense is not so common for all. But this will not lower my rating as it was taken care of swiftly. The portions were the perfect size and I was not stuffed but pleasantly satified. We told them the time of our show, food was out quickly, nicely presented, still hot and very tasty. The restaurant was not noisy and had space between the tables. It also had an elevator for those who could not manage stairs. Trattoria Trecolori you will be added to my must go again list! Thank for a wonderful experience!
