I met a group of girlfriends here for lunch today, and it was fantastic! I ordered one of their turkey sandwiches and it was so delicious. There was so much turkey meat in the sandwich along with avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion (which I left off) and it was toasted. One of the other ladies got the chicken Caesar salad wrap and really enjoyed it. The other people in my group shared a couple of salads and two of their slices of pizza. Everyone loved everything that we ordered! The restaurant is bright and clean with indoor and outdoor seating. Feeling very appreciated this week! Our incredible Booster Club treated all the staff to a "take and bake" dinner, and it was such a thoughtful surprise. We had the option of pizza or lasagna--I went with the veggie lasagna, and it did not disappoint! Each meal was a full dinner for a family of four... which worked out perfectly for me as a party of one. I've been enjoying the leftovers all week! Our take-home bags included: * Two pieces of cheesy garlic bread * Salad * Dessert * Lasagna or pizza Everything was absolutely delicious. (Although I'll admit--I wish there had been a non-chocolate dessert option... I know, I'm the odd one out!) LOL! Maybe that was the universe telling me to skip dessert! Wow-just wow! Had heard wonderful things about this quaint Italian restaurant, but it goes beyond wonderful. What a beautiful interior. So clean and bright. If it was warmer, even dining outside looks wonderful. We were greeted with 2 super friendly and welcoming staff members. We had wonderful high top seating. It was a quiet yet lively room full of customers. We were graced with one of the kindest waiter named Sage! What an asset to Marye's! Made our table feel so comfortable and welcomed. He gave excellent suggestions on wines and food. He was so knowledgeable about everything which made our dining out a wonderful time! The Greek Pizza was completely full of toppings! So very tasty and a perfectly cooked crust! The lasagna was definitely fresh and home made! The amount of sauce and cheese was perfection. Ok y'all, you know that if you have a pizza joint in Westlake Hills, its got to be better than most. Marye's nails all the categories perfectly. Low key casual. Creative appetizers and salads. The avocado pesto was just right as a starter. KILLER pizza. For our first time, we went straight to the top with the Mother Lode. Marye's is a delightful find! A high ceiling and big mirrors give this cozy space a spacious feel, where you can select from tables or booths to indulge in the locally sources fare. Two restrooms are available for your pre pizza eating hand washing needs, ya filthy animals. As first timers we went for the pizza. Ordered a pepperoni and a margharita slice. There are four pie sizes available but we were not ready to commit just yet. You order at the cashier who will give you a number stick if you are dining in. After you settle in to your seat of choice you can grab a non-alcoholic beverage from the drink station; the fountain has Maine Root colas/lemonades/root beer (with free refills)- no Coca-Cola/Pepsi here. When our pizza came out the slices were short and wide, not exactly a NY slice size in shape but excellent thin crust and neither of our slices were burnt. I was deeply satisfied with the taste, texture, and quality. The menu is a range of dips, salads, soups, Pizza rolls, sandwiches, entrees, desserts (gelato!), kids menu, and take and bake options. My family and I decided to get Marye's Gourmet Pizza for dinner. My husband ordered it and picked it up. My husband got us some Lemon Feta Hummus which came with sliced pita, cucumber, and black olives and some cheesy garlic bread to share. For my main meal I decided to try the Que Pizza. This pizza has cheese, chicken, jalapenos, red onion, and BBQ sauce. The Lemon Feta Hummus is one of my favorites. The pita slices were okay. The cucumber and olives were fresh. All very yummy when combined with the hummus. The cheesy garlic bread was very good. The garlic flavor was just right and with the melted cheese on top dipped in marinara sauce was yummy. The Que Pizza was really good. I could taste all of the ingredients. The chicken chunks were plentiful and the BBQ sauce was enough to give the pizza lots of flavor. The red onions provided a semisweet flavor and the jalapenos gave the pizza a slight spiciness. Delicious pizza. Overall it is still one of my family's favorite places to pick up food. I can't believe I've never been here before. Marye's Gourmet Pizza has been around since 1994, and they have lots of gluten and dairy free options. I ordered the gluten free crab cakes, gluten free turkey sandwich, and gluten free chocolate torte. The staff was really helpful and friendly. So rare that you just randomly pick a new restaurant looking for a certain item (pizza tonight) and have a culinary taste and texture explosion in a welcoming ambiance. This is a MUST if you love food and understand innovative and creative cooking. Stuart and Julie have created a fantastic eating experience, hidden in the back of one of the strip centers along Bee Caves Road. We started with two of the nicest servers, got a Beet Salad. WELL! OMG, with nuts and bacon and blueberries it was both amazing texture and taste as a starter. I got one of the August Specials, a Pear and Prosciutto Pizza that is a world class show stopper. I loved the sweet and the mix of cheeses, wow. Jan got a plain pizza tonight easy on her upset stomach. I couldn't resist and ordered the Meatball appetizer. To die for, the best meatballs ever made with sirloin and Prosciutto (pork) with another taste explosion of comfort and spice. Their sauce is exceptional. It pains me to write this review. I really thought this would be a 5 star experience. I order for curbside. I got a mini pizza, half salad and dessert. It was $30. Pricey, but it's Friday and if it's delicious fine. My order is supposed to be ready at 5:39, I pull up and check in at 5:36. Says it will be right out. Another lady pulls in a few mins later and gets her order brought out right away so I figure mine is coming. 15 mins later still no acknowledgment or order so I called in (I'm pregnant and not feeling well hence the curbside) and they say oh yea and bring it right out. It had clearly been sitting there and was lukewarm. I drive the ten mins home and by then I have room temperature pizza. The pizza was good but small for $12.50 and now basically cold. Salad had great flavors but was small. Yes it was a half salad but like the bowl was smaller than my palm and the toppings were skimpy. Like 90% spring mix and 10% toppings. I had really been looking forward to a great salad as promised in reviews. I got a lot of spring mix though! My dessert was laughable. I ordered a s'more thing and it was a prepackaged item they sold for $5?! I'm talking like looks like the things you buy for $1.99 in the checkout lane at Ross. How is this a dessert being sold by a restaurant?! It was good though but I don't think I've ever been served a prepackaged Ross like item from a restaurant. I might would try this again but dine in only and be ready to drop some money for small portions and I would ask clarifying questions about the origins of the desserts. With the bad service without even an apology, long wait, cold food, prepackaged dessert and spending $30 this is barely a 2 star for me. I was referred yesterday to Marye's by my neighbor who is one of 6 neighbors coming to my house for a pizza and salad party, and then to watch the first broadcast ever of a Broadway play. Tonite on CNN, we will watch Good Night and Good Luck. George Cloney stars and has been nomiatd for a Tony. In any event, I was assured how good the food is herem, so instead of ordering for delivery from one of the usual spots, I went here. I ordered two 14" salads and two 14" pizzas. When I picked them up, what a shock. The pizzas looked sad. So, I made a quick red sauce, sliced up some fresh motzarella, and dressed both pizzas with the extra ingredients. Luckily, I had all ingredients I needed in my cuppard. The salads were small and more dissapointing. I ordered a Cesar salad and the salad with apples, cucumber, feta, etc. It came with barely any of these extra ingreadients. Plus, I was given one dressing tub for each. Very skimmpy. I had to add Bostonm lettuce to both salads, add goat cheese and mandarin oranges to the other along with more Boston lettuce. I would have added Romaine to the Cesear, but that's not what the original was made with. I had to make more Cesear dressing and more olive oli and vinegar for the salads to compensate for not getting an adequate amount of dressing. I just slipped both of them into the over, according to instructions at 425 on the paper. Will post outcomes tomorrow. I don't care about the cost. I do care about good pizza and salads. read more

We have always LOVED Marye's but the last three times we have eaten in or carried out have been so disappointing. When eating in the pizza was burned and the waitress delivered it anyway. The last two takeout had half of the cheese and toppings as the pizzas used to have on them. Not sure what is going on but sadly we have given up on Marye's! read more

I love Marye's. The detox salad with avocado is a staple in my diet but the Kale and Brussel sprout salad with Salmon is also a favorite! Their homemade dressings are delicious and they will sell them by the bottle also. Many of their ingredients are locally sourced and they're always fresh and beautiful. The only thing I don't like about the pizza is that I can't eat more of it for fear of growing out of my clothes. Its a bustling spot at lunchtime which is fun and I seldom go in without seeing someone I know which reminds me of growing up in a small town. I could go on about the rest of the menu which has grown over the years but still small enough to maintain excellence. I'm a fan!! read more

Even though I've tried many of the items on the menu (loved them all especially the beet salad and the cheese calzone), I gravitate towards the Burrata. The mozzarella is hand-tied.
