There is something about afternoon tea that makes my heart do a happy dance. You need to make an appointment a day in advance for the tea service. I couldn't figure out how to do it online so I did in person but I'm assuming you could call or email. The cafe is inside of Painted Tree. Painted Tree is filled with pretty decorations and gifts. The cafe is on the left hand side of the store and has an outdoor seating area. The afternoon tea was cute and delicious, and the service was very friendly. I thought it was completed with savory, scones, and fruits...then they brought me another plate full of desserts! You can have cafe menu items without making an appointment, and I saw some wine bottles so I guess you can have a brunch with a glass or two as well.

This is such a quaint place. The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. I would recommend going for a quiet lunch.

Place just opened so of course it is clean…read more Menu is very simple. Certainly there's nothing wrong with doing traditional foods but at the same time a lack of creativity with nothing really new. To go along with that theme it's just basic blocking and tackling when it comes to Vietnamese food with a lack of deep soulful flavor. They don't have tripe, nor did the waiter seem to recognize what that is. I don't know what to make of the service as on the one hand I believe they're trying to be helpful explaining the menu. But on the other hand, it felt like they were watching over me like a hawk for whatever reason while I was eating. About $22 for a bowl of pho ($16) and egg rolls ($6) seems to be on the high side given the lack of taste. Ironically, I feel like the place that occupied this space prior went out of business for mediocre food and high prices. The place is new so maybe a return trip at sometime might yield better results, but for now I would say there are better Vietnamese places albeit another 10-15 minutes away.

This place is just alright. Pho is all about the broth and this venue uses the same broth (chicken,…read moreI think) for all varieties of pho. That was disappointing since it doesn't enhance the type of meat/seafood you selected. Avoid the rib meat pho - it's very fatty. I tried the fish pho and the fish didn't taste fishy at all. The broth can use more flavor. The one thing I liked about Blazing Lotus' pho is that they didn't seem to use MSG. Price point is a bit steep and it may be due to the restaurant being open only a few months. The menu suggests they are still under "soft opening" so there's a chance they can increase prices even more. Venue is nicely decorated and clean. Great place to try once if you're new to this type of food. But there are other places with better price point and flavor. Service was ok. The server was very nice and respectful. We did have a challenge ordering our dishes when we asked for no onions and they seemed to miss the memo.

Lots of tables and cute pictures. The place is loud but that's because everyone is talking at their table. Our server Trayvon was super nice and very helpful. He gave some good recommendations since this was our 1st time. We ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and hubby had a Bee's Knee. It had Gin honey and lemon. Hubby got the traditional breakfast-chicken apple sausage, sourdough toast and hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with the gravy on the side. I rather dip the chicken in the gravy verse having it poured on top. My chicken fried chicken came with grits and sourdough toast. The chicken was so good and flavorful. I loved the grits. I also got a side of chicken apple sausage and when I tell you it was so good. It had just right amount of sweetness. This is a place to bring family and friends from out of town. We will be back.

Limited parking right now - looks like another building and hopefully additional parking being constructed next door. Immediately liked the bright modern comfortable vibe when entering. You can see the bar and coffee bars at the back. The downfall of having stuff hanging from ceiling and when choosing your lift fixtures, you have to clean them. I loved the circle lights above the booths. Unfortunately, they were dusty and I kept waiting for it to drop in our food. (Not what I want to be focusing on while eating). Very large menu with lots of great choices for breakfast, lunch, brunch. Cocktails, mocktails, fresh juice also available. I got the CHICKEN BACON RANCH PANINI - it was really good but messy. Arrived sloppy dripping in ranch. I ended up having for fork & knife it. Good bacon, grilled chicken, slices of avocado. Would get ranch on side next time - It tastes like the typical restaurant supply big bucket of blah ranch. They need a house made ranch. The fried okra was really good! MONTE CRISTO - on a croissant. Completely soggy and unable to eat as a sandwich. Strawberry jam on it was a nice different touch. Had to eat with fork & knife. Not one of the better ones in the area. Fries were really good though. We will go back sometime and try breakfast.
