I've been here a few times previous.. a few pros and cons but I do remember walking in one day and the floor was super sticky, I was a bit annoyed and to top it off the service was very very slow. But there was another time I ordered the lamb curry and it was superb This time I ordered the jackfruit curry and I have to say being a meat eater and for the same price I would've rather had gotten lamb or goat curry. The jackfruit had no special taste. It was literally, curry, jackfruit and jalapeños. It was so bland and had no veggies. I added spinach, Peas, carrots and garbanzo beans to give it the well needed uuumphh. It was sad that I had to add the extras to a dish that the restaurant couldn't do for their customers. The restaurant is small but very comfortable, the music was good I felt like I was in a Bollywood concert while eating some of my favorites. The aroma & hunger made me eat in. I didn't mind the thin broth with the chicken curry & Tikki Masala, & Lamb Bernini because I'm not used to eating Indian food daily, for me it was explosive with deliciousness & those spices they mix together is just so satisfying & filling! Happy Monday everyone! Felt like having Masala Monday so came to this Indian house for some yummy Indian food. I have been here several times and the dishes are quite delicious. Came here for their Monday special which is currently $3 for a 1 item combo (good deal)...sucks because it used to be $2 (great deal) but I understand over time and because of the pandemic prices increased but I am glad that the flavor was still great. I got the chicken tiki masala with comes with a side of basmati rice and your choice of regular or garlic naan. Food is always prepared fresh and piping hot. Got lucky today and the owner served us. He's quite friendly and gives reasonable portion sizes. However, in my past experiences here there are a few staff members that aren't pleasant and skimp on the portion size. Ugg. Anyways, overall nice decor but there's too many storage boxes around. This is a restaurant not a storage unit. There's also loud Mexican music which is odd, confusing, and annoying for an Indian restaurant. I love Masala house. I'm a regular here. Everything is good. Some are spicy, some not so. Their combos are cheap and give generously. 9.99 for two combo meal. 7.99 for a single. COME ON. For non spicy eaters: get the paneer curry, saag (spinach), mixed vegetables. The rest are spicy. My personal favs are the mixed vegetables, chicken keema, jackfruit curry and paneer curry. I'll be honest I used to go here before the new owner came and I enjoyed it. I'm someone who likes to indulge in food from different cultures and I'm used to being the odd one out. Today they were busy and service took longer than normal. I waited in line just like everyone else never complained, just waited there. The guy behind got impatient, walked in front of me and the server saw it attended to him and told me to wait a moment. They guy looked at me and grinned, so I just decided to leave without ordering. Really good flavors had a taste for chicken tikamasala. I also tried the coconut chicken it was yummy. Favorite two items was the garlic non and bean soup with lentils. I would love to have this on a cold fall night or winter it's so hearty and full of flavors. The staff is so sweet very attentive! I'll be back! I left out one star because I love a buttery thick sauce for the chicken tikka masala and it was not like I like my sauce. Also I wanted shrimp tikamasala maybe in the future they will add :). Very bad experience. Ordered for Vada pav and masala tea. no masala in tea. Very cold and just not even normal tea. Vada pav i could not pick up initially as it was so hot. But soon realized that it was taken out of microwave and so the oaf was hot. The vada was very cold, proving the point that they used frozen item and heated it. I asked the lady at the counter and she was simply telling that she does not know what is happening in kitchen. unfortunately I ordered one to go and she took it inside and after 15 minutes came back with a new one. I was standing waiting to be helped and after one Indian woman was done helping a customer, she came up to me and rudely asked what I needed. Their lemon rice was good, Samosas on the spicy side but the tamarind chutney made up for it with its sweetness. Loved their Dahi Vada. The tandoori chicken was spot on as was their Chicken Tikka Masala. So many good choices it's hard to decide. We came two days in a row while in the area it was that good. The mixed veggies were also note worthy as was the Shahi paneer. If you're looking for overpriced cooked fresh made to order this is not your place. I always love the food from here. My favorites are the chicken tikka masala, naan and samosas. The workers are always very fast, attentive and kind which is rare nowadays. Thank you guys. One tip to the owner though for the sake of the workers who are hopefully sharing the tips: you should find a more secure tip jar or have the workers remove the tip money before somebody steals it because there was a lot in there and it's so easy for someone to take it. read more

I've never actually been inside because I typically have it delivered or have a friend pick it up for me but three entrees, rice and naan for under $15 is a steal. They will definitely fix your Indian food cravings and one order is enough for 2-3 people....for reference I ate the entire meal in 4 different servings because there was that much food. They do not have lids to cover the drinks. My son spilled it over his dress, thankfully I have an extra pair of clothes in the car. They do not maintain hygiene Their cook uses hand instead of ladle to pour dosa batter on the pan. We ordered a vegetable utappam( it's a thick dosa) and we got something that barely had a couple of tomato slices and looked very unappetizing. I will not eat at this place again. Customer service is extremely poor. Rudeness is the order of the day in this place. Service workers don't acknowledge customers and if there's acknowledgement it's only to their Indian customers. Clear bias on who they want to serve, and ignore the customers they don't want to serve. Can have 3-4 people by the food area, but the workers won't serve. By the time they acknowledge the customer, they are very rude and upset. Service workers don't seem to enjoy their job nor serving people. Why be in food service, serving people if you don't like dealing with people. Worse place in my experience. They can keep their rude customer service to themselves. Never again read more
