Order at the table, pay at the register. What happens in between is the magic. Complimentary bottled water eliminates any question about water in a glass. Warm dinner rolls and buns on the house. We shared and enjoyed the Pelmeni. Would go again if in the area.

Absolutely Delicious and Comforting! We had an amazing experience! The food was incredibly delicious, everything tasted homemade, and comforting. You can really tell they put love into every dish. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic, hearty food and a welcoming atmosphere.

This place serves Russian dishes and other regional dishes near Russia. They also had some Ukrainian and Georgian items on the menu as far as I could tell. It's a very quaint little place and it has good food and service. I like the free bread that comes with your meal. I ordered some dumplings and honey cake. Everything was good and I will definitely come back to try some more dishes in the future.

We made reservations since many friends said this place got busy. The night we went there was only two other parties seated and already eating. The person working behind the counter was also our waitress. She was kind and accommodating. Jazzy music floated through the air while we browsed the menu. We opted in for a Greek salad but they ended up bringing a summer salad. No biggy. It was still delicious. I ordered the Hinkali which was a meat filled dumpling. On first bite it reminded me of Xiaolongbao (小籠包) for all you dim sum aficionados. A bit on the pricey side but I could definitely tell it was homemade. The entire experience was a solid and good dinner!

Stopped in on 12/12/24 for a quick lunch while at work. I was craving something light and fresh but wanted to stick to local and close to work. I found Masha's on yelp of course and it looked perfect. I can tell you I made the correct choice. The service was so welcoming, the food hit exactly all the right spots I needed it to. I left full but not heavy and just incredibly pleased with the whole experience. I was given a bottle of water and some warm bread and butter when seated as well. I saw so many delicious looking dishes I want to go back and try! This time around I ordered a spinach salad that had raspberries, goat cheese, pine nuts and a raspberry dressing on it and a cup of chicken noodle soup as well.

I can't believe I kept missing reviews for this wonderful place. Masha and the Bear offers hearty Eastern European meals. They have been around pre-covid. I'm so glad their business survived post-covid. When I lived in Aurora I dined here a number of times. I also stopped by not long ago for bakery to take home. Their peach cookie is delicious! Earlier tonight I stopped by because I was doing business in Aurora. Afterwards, I couldn't resist the temptation to stop here. I ordered a few meals to take home. One of those meals was the Olivier Salad and the other was Beef Stroganoff with mashed potatoes. Both delicious meals! That Olivier Salad is great! I loved the warm hospitality I received. My waitress was very friendly. She offered for me to sit down at one of their tables until my food was ready. It was great to hear a Slavic or Eastern European language spoken by patrons while I waited for my food. The interior of this place is so charming. I love all the art decor on the walls and other decorations. It provides you with stepping into a portal to another country. Again, love the staff. I've always had nice interactions with them. Think I'll stop by here again soon! This is one of my favorite ethnic restaurants in the metro Denver area. If you haven't been, I highly recommend!

Plov. This was recommended by the woman at the counter and it did not disappoint. Highly seasoned rice with beef.

I stopped by and got takeout. This cafe is cute! It was busy around 5 with takeout orders but no one was eating in at that time. It's small (maybe five tables) but clearly efficient. There are a number of gluten free and vegetarian options, including several soups, salads and entrees. I did a big takeout order but the price was very reasonable and the portions very generous. Two entree sized salads and two entrees was $61 and we have several meals of leftovers. I'll definitely return.

A dining experience that I have been waiting for for a while. My first Russian restaurant! This is literally the cutest place ever. I love the interior and all of the Russian nesting dolls. The purple wall and red chairs are everything and so much fun. I was especially entranced by the coke fountain. My cousin and I walked in and were greeted right away and were the first ones in the restaurant for lunch. The service was good and the food came out fast. The owner was so sweet and I could tell that she loves her job. The menu is authentic and there are lots of options that you don't get just anywhere. What restaurant do you know that makes cabbage rolls and borscht (beet soup)? My cousin has been here several times and said that everything is authentic and tastes great. She would know because she studied abroad in Russia for a semester. To start we were given bottled waters and complimentary sour dough. The bread was warm, soft and oh so good. For entrees, we ordered the cabbage meat rolls and pelmeni. I've never had a cabbage roll before and the taste was out of this world and unlike anything I have had before. Great portion size too. The pelmeni is a Russian version of a dumpling and you dip them in sour cream. Really good stuff. Lastly, we shared the honey cake which was a tasty dessert option that's not overly sweet and was only $3 for a big portion. I am excited to come back and try more of the food and dessert options.

Ask the Community - Masha and the Bear

Does anyone know if they are still open? We went on Sunday during the listed opening hours, but it was closed. Also the phone number goes straight to voicemail.

The phone number has always gone straight to voicemail as far as I can tell, I have never gotten a live answer. But my daughter took a friend there a few weeks ago, during their normal business hours, and also found it closed. Doesn't look good.

Cabbage wrapped crab and corn. Super flavorful perfectly cooked. - ADJIKA PELMENI: almost like a ravioli or tortellini. Wasn't my favorite, but everyone else loved it. Very earthy. - VEAL + POTATO FLAKE SHASHLIK: basically a shish kebab with veal and potatoes and the sauce they had for it was to die for - SQUASH BLOSSOM FRITTER: not exactly what I expected - it was a flattened fritter with everything on top, but the flavors were super great. - PAN SEARED RED PERCH: instead of perch, they had something similar to salmon and muscles. Everyone loved this dish and thought that the salmon was cooked to perfection. Service was great - no complaints Ambience is quaint and cozy!

For our monthly dinner, my Yelp Elite girlies and I headed to Molotov. I don't know a ton about Ukrainian food but I'm always open to try new flavors and cuisines. I ordered the Moryana cocktail. It was a savory cocktail and had the most unique smell...after some questioning, I think it was the MSG! I didn't love it but it was incredibly unique. We shared all our plates and ordered the Marigold + Charred Leak Babka, Crab + Corn Holubtsi, Adjika Pelmeni, Veal + Potato Flake Shashlik, Squash Blossom Fritter, Pan Seared Red Perch, and Beet S'more. Standouts for me were the Crab + Corn Holubtsi, Veal + Potato Flake Shashlik and Beet S'more. The Crab + Corn Holubtsi was fantastical. If you love corn, you should get this. It's a great combo of flavor, a little sweet, savory, and the textures throughout are excellent and balanced. The Beet S'more is delightful. The marshmallow is bright and tangy which pairs so well with the white chocolate and the ice cream brings it home! It was the perfect ending to our meal. Shout out to the salmon that was so perfectly seared, I could've cried. I believe the red perch was replaced with salmon. Service was great, our server knew all the details on the dishes and was super helpful. 10/10 recommend y'all. You guys have to try this place out! Also, reminder, it is a tiny space (with beautiful decor might I add), so I would make a rezy.

I was driving, so my brother ordered a pint of pilsner, which of course I had to take a sip for quality control, and it passed the test lol. The server mentioned they were having issues with some of their alcohol equipment that day, so alcohol options were very limited. The food came out quite quickly, or I think it did, because my brother and I were busy chatting and catching up. Food was hot, and everything tasted delicious and well-seasoned. We were checked on frequently & the staff were friendly. There was also plenty of parking. The decor was cute & inviting, they even had a big screen TV. In addition, there was a gelato, sorbet & coffee counter to the side, plus frozen Pierogis (dumplings) to take home. I had the Schnitzel with 5 Pierogies. This was a breaded, thinly sliced pork chop served with caramelized onions and a mushroom & cheese sauce on the side with sour cream. The pork chop was big but unfortunately it was dry & needed more seasoning. The sauce was bland & I couldn't taste the mushrooms. I chose a variety of different fillings for my Pierogies - potato & cheese, potato & onion, potato & cheddar jalapeño, sauerkraut & mushrooms and feta & spinach. The fillings lacked seasoning & they kinda all tasted the same except for the feta & spinach. For my side I had the smallest cup of Cucumber Salad, too small I felt. The salad was bland as well. I know pierogis can taste mild but I was really hoping for a more flavorful topping & well seasoned fillings. I will give Pierogies Factory another try. I saw many customers around me having the Kielbasa sausage & that looked delicious.

But I knew she'd be a tough critic as well. The restaurant was oddly empty for a Wednesday, with only one other group dining, and we were there during prime dinner time. But that meant our group of six we had a very attentive server, and she was great. We started with a host of appetizers including herring, all the pickled vegetables on offer, pierogis, and cabbage rolls. And a carafe of horseradish vodka, of their many house made infused vodka options. It was so delicious we got a second order of most of the appetizers. After so many starters, we went light on entrees, getting two beef stroganoffs and a lamb shank to share. Plus yet another cabbage rolls (they really were that good). Our resident Russian felt the entrees were far less traditional (she said they never ate lamb in her fed eastern part of Russia, and the stroganoff was a modern tale that was more of a steak with sides vs stew like) but we all agreed the modern tales were completely delicious, especially the mushroom sauce on the stroganoff. We finished with all three desserts available- a layered honey cake (deemed modern but tasty) a chocolate pot de crème (insanely delicious but not russian) and an off menu item of ice cream cake with a plum sauce It was a really lovely meal and I was so full I could barely get up to leave.
