Came here for lunch the other day, food was interesting. The tacos I had were very flavorful but the sangria was disappointing and gave a bad headache. The fish tacos were dry and bland. My friends enjoyed their burger, salmon and meatloaf well enough. Atmosphere was a little different, more employees working then patrons dining during the lunch rush.

Came to this location on a whim on a Friday afternoon. We were seated right away but our server let us know they were having an issue with someone seating people without telling the server so there was a bit of a wait before anyone took our drink or food orders. Our server apologized even though it wasnt a big deal and was super helpful. We tried the corn spinach dip and "avocado toast pizza". The corn spinach dip was 10/10 bomb.com but was served with some of the stalest chips known to man. The avo toast pizza was very strange. Would maybe rate it 4/10 on a good day. Its super thick and reminds me of cheese bread not toast or pizza (it has no red sauce). We both ate one slice and took the rest home (and its still sitting in the fridge ) Giving 4 stars for how friendly and helpful our server was and how good the spinach corn dip was - everything else was just okay and the vibe is definitely sports-bar-ish with many many tv's and is pretty loud. Not my scene, most of their cocktails seemed to have a "home town moonshine" theme and it was an interesting atmosphere for sure.

Dropped my Mash'd for the first time after workout out for the wings and my goodness!!! Upon arrival there was no wait but get there as early as possible as it was filling up fast! Upon sitting we' were greeted within minutes. The waitress was very patient with us as we browsed the menu and brought out waters without asking...nice touch! We originally went for wings but was told the wings were discontinued so we opted for the chicken thighs as a starter. I'm am SO glad they had those thighs. We ordered 8 and got 4 siracha garlic butter and 4 wicked hot flavor. They were amazing! They were juicy and surprisingly normal sized. And that was just a starter!!! We literally could've ordered a side and made a meal of it! For dinner I ordered the turkey burger and it was also pretty tasty. It was seasoned well and was also juicy. If you want a cool setting with bar seating and tvs this is your spot! It's family friendly and has a good mixed crowd. And let me add...the pizza looked amazing!!! There were several tables that ordered one so it's safe to say that's a popular item! The only issue we had was that we had to ask for ketchup on 4 separate occasions from 3 different employees outside of our waitress and by the time we received it we were wrapping up our dining. Other than that...we had a great dining experience! I'd definitely go back!

Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations. They weren't extremely busy, which was a good thing. This place had a normal vibe to it though. But when I initially ordered, they said they were out of the fried pepperoni bites. So I was very disappointed, but the wait staff suggested the spinach & corn dip. I wasn't thinking it was going to be very good. But boy was I wrong. This dip was very good! The chips that came with it were also very good. A lot different than normal tortilla chips you get at Mexican food establishments. I highly recommend it. On top of that, we got the WTF tacos. These were also very good! Very good place, which in return I'll be back.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long because of the quantity of reviews. Disappointed. What we got: Spinach and corn dip, Bulgogi tacos, and The Bird. The Bird is a heavily breaded, thin piece of chicken sitting between two room-temperature buns. Bulgogi tacos were definitely interesting - not horrible, not great, but I really appreciated the heavy hand on veggies. We did really like the spinach and corn dip though. Environment: Very spacious area & our table was clean. Service: The server pretty much threw down our appetizer plates. Someone else's food was delivered to us, our food was delivered to the table next to us; the server was honestly probably just having a bad day, but thought it should be noted.

Ok, so update! Years later this place is still one of my favorite lunch/brunch/sipping spots in the area. So many yummy things to try for dinner also! Grab a table for group dining, or sit at the bar and chop it up with the servers. A lot of them have been here for years which is also a testament to the awesomeness of this place. Grab the corn dip as an appetizer, it's massive and always delicious with the piping hot chips. Plenty of spots to charge your phone as well up front. Patio is wonderful and there are misting fans. The only thing really I haven't had here is dessert! So that will be on the list. It tends to be on the pricier side but to me worth every penny. You will love it! I am already planning my trip back soon because I need to dive more into their brunch items.

Slight mishap with our reservation for our party of 16 which was quickly alleviated with quick and friendly service! Pictured are the French toast and The Unholy One (friend breast in a French toast sandwich). I was not a fan of the breakfast potatoes but overall good brunch spot!

I went Sunday around 2:30 PM for the 1st time. I sat at the bar after the bartender cleaned off an area. Everything behind the bar was in shambles and most of the counter was dirty. A couple sat beside me and made a comment about how everything was in disarray. The bartender said several people called people called in. My chicken sandwich and fries were cold. The drink wasn't good. It took forever to get someone's attention to check me out. I guess I picked the wrong day to try this place out.

Dropped by here for a quick brunch on a day out shopping and exploring the area. We ordered the queso and the cauliflower as appetizers for the table. The queso dip was very good, and our waitress brought us some extra tortilla chips when we ran out. The cauliflower appetizer looked really good. It had a flavor similar to general chicken but was kind of mushy on the inside with little flavor. The presentation as a whole head of cauliflower was nice, but I think the dish would have been much better if they cut the cauliflower in pieces so everything was cooked evenly and seasoned evenly. I ordered the migas. When it came out, it looked great. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving. The eggs were rubbery and overcooked, there was no salt on the potatoes, and the tortillas were very underwhelming. The pickled onions on the plate were very good, but the rest tasted like airplane food. I also ordered a Good Medicine cocktail that was strong but good. The service here was good, but most of the food was not good at all. Maybe it was an off day, but it's definitely not a repeat.

First time here. Really liked this place and the home cooked food! Excellent fries and yummy "flower power" cauliflower. Atmosphere was fun and had nice 80's ads that make it nostalgic. Service was great and attentive. Although we don't live here, would definitely come back!

Make a reservation and get MASH'D! Busy eatery offering unique spins on southern classics! For starts we had the Oven-Roasted Chicken Thighs half Moonshine BBQ, half Sriracha Garlic Butter. The Thighs were large and juicy with a slightly crunchy exterior. The Moonshine BBQ had a good flavor, but not smoky like you would imagine in a BBQ flavor. The Sriracha Garlic, were like a spin on Garlic Parmesan with a slight sweet spicy kick! For our entree we had the Crab and Shrimp Volcano that had a weird, how be it not unpleasant flavor that was not the natural sweet of seafood. At first, it was a little off putting, only because it wasn't expected. However, once you dive in, the flavors come together enjoyably. The staff is quick and efficient, making the whole place run like a dream, even on a very busy Sunday afternoon! Overall, can't wait to try something else on the menu!

ORDERED - Chicken & Biscuits | $15.79 - Peach Mimosa | $2 - Blackberry Mimosa | $2 STAFF Absolutely loved our waiter! It was a busy brunch time when we went but our waiter still gave us 5 star service. SEATING AREA Plenty of seating inside and seating on the patio. Reservations can be made through their website, or through opentable. PARKING Parking can get a little out of hand in this plaza as there are A LOT of good dining options. I suggest getting there at least 10-15 mins early to grab a spot. OVERALL The CHICKEN & BISCUITS were a 5/5. The gravy was very rich and thick -- lots of flavor. The biscuits weren't regular biscuits; they were cheddar biscuits!!! The fried chicken was NOT salty like how many other establishments can go wrong. The dish was topped with two sunny side up eggs and everything assembled together was perfection. Just a warning that this will make you thirsty and you may or may not finish this in one sitting. It's A LOT to handle. As for the mimosas -- the brunch menu had $2 mimosas so you can try all flavors without breaking the bank. My personal favorite flavor was the BLACKBERRY, which actually tasted less tart than the BLOOD ORANGE. If you're not into flavored mimosas, the TRADITIONAL ORANGE is the way to go.

Made a reservation days in advance for our family of 8. We were seated immediately on arrival, placed in an out-of-the-way corner with a large enough booth to accommodate us all. It did not go unnoticed by our group that limited capacity and social distancing were not being practiced. The place was hopping - every single table, not properly spaced, was occupied (some people were separated by mere inches as they sat back-to-back). Kudos to Mash'd for drawing a huge crowds in these tough times. It's understandable considering your always amazing food. However, as a restaurateur myself, I'm disheartened that you choose to put us all in jeopardy of shutting down by not following the rules - just as they did with the bars. Your food is worth the wait, so please don't cram your guests on top of each other. read more

Came here on my girlfriend's birthday, so had high expectations. Thursday night at 8pm and seated right away. Service was great and server had great reccommendations on the moonshine. OK, about the MOONSHINE, if you love whiskey, bourbon or rye liquors, or even the cocktails that come of it, then you will like the drinks here. We do, so we loved them. Very pricey though, kinda small, but not stingy on the liquor, so I was indeed a fan. APPETIZER - Side of Pickled Peppers (not our best idea, but they tasted great and my girlfriend is obsessed with pickles LOL) ENTREE - Rare flat-iron steak was INCREDIBLE. The crazy thing was, we forgot to order the temperature of the steak, but the server informed us that the flat-iron steak is prepared that way and it was DELICIOUS. We eat our steaks rare anyway. THE BEST PART of having your birthday here: They gave us an ENTIRE LEMON BAR cake (its actually called "Scotch Cake" on the menu, but tastes like a lemon bar). And I mean, the cake was HUGE. I think it was like 10$ on the menu... FOR FREE!!!!!! The service alone was great, but the food is on par with most of these other reviews. read more

Heard some good things about this place. Tried it on a Tuesday evening. We waited for a second but sat right away. Server was very nice. The pineapple drink was delish but the berry smash tasted like cherry cough syrup over ice. For the appetizer we ordered the mussels which was very tasty but mussels were tiny so we could've used more mussels. I had the fried chicken which was boneless. It was nice and tender but, the chicken meat itself lacked any sort of flavor or even salt! The fried chicken was NOT worth the $15 price tag. The Bulgogi tacos were tasty but I'm not sure if the fried corn taco shells were supposed to be crispy or soft because it was both. Decor was too rustic sports bar-ish so, I wasn't expecting much from the food. It lacked good lighting and seemed as if it was just an afterthought. All in all, I wasn't impressed with the food. It was just okay. The dishes we had were not enough to go back for but perhaps I will for the pineapple bomb. read more

How refreshing to find such unique and clever choices for food and drinks! Not the same old tired franchise dishes here! Everything in the place has a creative twist on their Moonshine theme. The food was fresh-made and delicious. First we split a Pot of Goat appetizer - a delicious goat cheese and tomato dip, a must-try if you like artisan cheese. I had Bulgogi Tacos ( crisp shells with Korean-inspired marinated beef - sweet/soy/spicy!) and my wife had their Babyback Sandwich, which she loved. Bri drank a Moonshine Sangria, while I ordered a flight of 4 different Moohshines - One straight up shine, then flavors of Apple Pie, Caramel and a red one that was a little like cough syrup (far too sweet for me!) - but all very interesting flavors! The service was attentive and lovely, and the prices won't bust your wallet. Lose one star for the music - It was already too loud at the start, and somebody kept turning it up almost every-other song. While that's OK for a crowded bar scene, it makes it hard to have dinner conversation, and it was dinner time, after all. Otherwise, it's a great date night venue. Finally went with my Dad on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is great, and the bartenders were really friendly. The menu is diverse enough to give you real options. And of course, there's the moonshine. I prefer the Firefly, but they have a good selection to test for those who don't know what it's like. read more

The food was not well seasoned unfortunately. We had the Kale and Quinoa and EggScramble off the brunch menu. Neither had much flavor to any of their components except the bacon (good) and something, I think the Kale, was way salty. Their signature potatoes has a bland salsa on top. Disappointing. This could have been noted and perhaps remedied, but our server never stopped by, asked how our food was or refilled drinks (coffee and water). We had to flag him down to ask for condiments and the corn tortillas that were supposed to come with our meal. It's too bad. Maybe an off day but I doubt we'll be back. read more

This place was great! I would have given it a 5 but our waiter was horrible. Spent most of the time waiting for him to come to the table. The food was absolutely delicious and their moonshines were just as good. Be sure to eat something first lol we go the chicken and shepherds pie. Both were super filling. I really like the moonshine mussel dish I ordered here. I've never had the combo of spicy chorizo and mussels before and it was delicious. As for the salad, it was a little bit sad to call it an "Avocado Bomb" and there actually wasn't a lot of avocado in it. The salad was also over dressed and it actually didn't really have a lot of flavor to it. read more

BEST WINGS IN FRISCO!!! I absolutely love their wings and always order way more than I can eat to enjoy leftovers. Entire family loves going there and every visit has been fantastic. Servers are truly on top of everything and always give us a great experience. And the food... nothing but praise! I always get the wings but always enjoy trying what the rest of my family gets... and it is good. This last visit we started with their queso and two of my kids got the Ry Dogs, daughter got the burger, and my wife got a salad with shrimp ... all of it was awesome! I love Mash'd for family dinner night and also love it when meeting friends (sans kids). Pretty awesome that one of my favorites is great for both! read more

Been here multiple times. I love this place. The moonshine flight is awesome-one flavor is NOT desireable, however, it makes the others taste that much better. The wings, fries, burgers, etc. is all cooked/fried to perfection and seasoned with love. Speaking of love, the staff is awesome. They are friendly and joke around with the customers. My buddy got asked if he had his big girl pants on when he inquired about a half shot. The sorbet is a must. If you come here, you must try it. I have been back, and I will be back. This was a new eat but great decision. I've been craving a good fried chicken sandwich since my physique show ended and this was the spot that filled the craving. I'm updating this review after giving the restaurant another try. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Audrey was our waitress and she quickly took our drink orders. We were already off to an exponentially better start than our first visit. The guacamole was a great appetizer. The waitress even brought us more chips. The sangria moonshine was wonderful and I had bbq ribs as recommended by our server. They did not disappoint. We will definitely return! Good food, good drinks and great service! First of all, it helps having a truthful server. Jha was great with his suggestions of what to get. We split the crushed devil (elevated deviled eggs on house made toast). Scrumptious way to start. As much as i enjoyed my food, i cannot get over the fact that my son's fruit bowl had molded strawberries in it. And they still serve it to kids as a side! Kids don't know any better, and they cannot check their food quality well enough before they serve it?! I enjoyed my The Rustic salad, it was delicious and filling. The rib sandwich was very interesting and tasty. Mary recommended a Texas bourban (Unbendt BiB) that was delicious. It was so good that I brought a bottle back to Chicago. Highly recommend this place for a cigar smoker looking for a good meal + cigar in a quiet/intimate environment.

Gotta say I'm impressed! Nice decor, good drinks, and good food. The menu takes a bit of studying. I usually stick to beer but thought I would try one of their mixed drinks as they were a bit different and sounded good. I got the Lady Marmalade (vodka, jalapeno, berry jam). It came in a martini glass and was quite spicy and tasty! I had to get another. I also ordered the shrimp tacos which were quite messy but very good. Their TV choices were more "eclectic" than most establishments. I saw a lot of home improvement shows and YouTube playlists, but no sports. Knocks.... waitress service was awful. Very slow, several long waits with empty glasses, waitress was nowhere to be seen for at least 20 minutes after each visit to your table (not crowded or busy at all), and the waitress couldn't even look at anyone while talking, just kept gazing off in the distance. Other tables with other waitresses didn't seem to fare much better. Prices are north of average, about 50% higher on each item than you would expect. Wow. I had their Arnold Palmer moonshine kinda drink and it was outstanding. They also had top notch margaritas. The ribs were smoky and tender with just the right amount of sauce. The meat loaf was moist and tender. I typically hate meat loaf but the loaf here is great. They also have a Detroit pizza on the menu. I've never had Detroit pizza but if this style of pie is true and authentic to what you'd find in Detroit I'd blame the economic collapse on their pizza and not the auto industry. Each slice is basically sauce on a roll. I didn't like the chunks of pepperoni on it either. Pepperoni should be thin slices that get crispy on the edges. The server approached me right away. She was very friendly and suggested some drinks that sounded really good. It was too early for moonshine for me so I went with water. When she came back she suggested some food menu items that all sounded delicious. One of the best restaurants ever!! The service was great, our waiter was funny and personable and made our time just that much more enjoyable. We got our drinks, which although I didn't have one, the rest of my party said were amazing. We all ordered wings and we were all shocked at how well they cooked them and how much flavor they had. The fries weren't really the way I like them because I'm more of a plain type of guy, but for well season fries, they were dang good! Overall the atmosphere for this place and after this visit it has quickly risen to probably my favorite restaurant in the area. read more

Excellent service and food was delicious. Me and my wife visited from Bonham . Small town up in texoma. We will definitely make the drive again. I had the chicken waffles and half order was plentiful. It was delicious . Chicken tender juicy and chuck Norris sauce out this world. My wife had the French toast . We visited for brunch and I vouched for the hillbilly and the pineapple bomb drink . Both amazing. Only 4 stars simply because my first drink was half full and was so busy . But cant blame them. We are tough food critics. We loved it and will be back to try more on the menu. read more

Hopped on here because I used to love this place, I went to check out reviews because the last few times I came here things were absolutely tragic. Not only had I received no response from any management about my most recent experience, I found my review amongst all of the hidden reviews. Horrible. My party of 5 came in during the afternoon and we were forgotten. I had to get a server to help us. The bartender was on his phone, couldn't care less. The GM, some young lady was also walking around on her phone. We asked the server who was in charge and we were pointed to her, the GM. Where is service?? Where is hospitality? My same group came in here last October and we had the best time, great service, great food. The manager came by to chat with us, he was great. Too many options in Frisco to waste our money here. read more

I was at Mash'd on August 4th, and I must say, I was extremely impressed. My guest and I started out with Moonshine Mussels, and, oh my, they were the best mussels we have ever tasted. Next, we ordered the Bootleg Ribs and Lemon Shrimp, both were to die for. And, the drinks were completely off the chart. But, more importantly, we had a server that made this dinner extra special and so enjoyable. Her name is Tess Kelley. We will return, and we will be asking for Tess as our server.....she's the best! I was dining here this past Saturday night, and this older man came into the restaurant yelling and screaming at the staff in a VERY unprofessional way. He was even hitting things, like he was throwing a tantrum as if he were a child. It made me very uncomfortable...so I asked the server for more information. Apparently he is one of the owners of this establishment...WOW is all I can say. Shane is his name, I felt awful for the server... This man needs help! I feel SO BAD for the staff having to work for this man. read more

This place reminds me of back home in Louisiana. This is what i call great southern food. I can't say enough about this place. The happy hour is also entertaining and amazingly fun. The reserve happy hour just makes it a place to enjoy just a bit longer. The patio ambiance is great! Our group had some amazing appetizers, seafood is always a must, and good fried chicken. Your have a great one in this place TX. I would recommend anyone try this place. read more

Growing up in Virginia... Moonshine doesn't have the allure to me that it does to many. Moonshine currently is enjoying a "cool" phase. Authentic moonshine is gross. The moonshine you get it mashed is all this sweet syrupy flavored stuff that tastes A different kind of horrible. Somebody will like it. Folks seem to be attracted to this place maybe because of the moonshiners TV show. I have seen moonshining firsthand and believe me it's not all that. read more

Great place, great atmosphere, great food. Took my family here the other night and got the oven roasted chicken, absolutely mind blowing. All my family enjoyed their meals, and left nothing but crumbs on their plates. Our experience was topped off by amazing service from our waiter, Will. He was patient, respectful, and attentive to all of our needs in a timely manner. I will be bringing my family back here as soon as I can! read more

Great food and super fast customer service. We have tried here twice. We loved their food, it is so fresh and delicious. We never get a stomach hurt at all. I think the food was cooked every day, and never left over. We felt in love with their chicken fried pepperoni. It is crunchy and tasted, it so delicious!!! Affordable price. The location is convenient, which is why I have dined a few times. The menu is heavy and gives you the impression they are trying to hard to be trendy. But not quite pulling it off. I have yet to eat anything I would order again. The bar staff is friendly and attentive, and why I return. The patio is nice as well. This is not a cheap steak house. But it is very solid. I had the 400g American ribeye and it was slightly over for me but absolutely stunning nonetheless. Marbling, resting, seasoning and charring spot on the money - very impressive. The staff were lovely, friendly and their english was perfect. Love the food, great atmosphere, but most of all the service. Hannah was our server and she is the best I've seen in a while. She was so thoughtful of dietary restrictions of our party and told my friend about potential issues she might have with the menu (she's pregnant). The manager, Matt, was friendly and attentive. My partner and I dined at the bar and had a phenomenal time. We started off with mimosas and then I got the cheeseburger omelette while my partner got the avocado toast. The portions on the regular menu are huge! I ate only half of my meal and was completely stuffed. It was so worth it though. I highly recommend the Migas Tacos. I loved that they used fresh herbs in their cooking. I managed to sneak some fries when my son wasn't looking and those were pretty tasty as well - no ketchup needed. read more

Stopped by here for the first time and was not disappointed! We had the spinach and corn dip as well as the sriracha garlic chicken thighs and both were absolutely amazing. Our server Will also made sure we were well taken care of. He was very attentive and gave great recommendations. I will be back for sure! read more
