I placed a to-go order and although my order was taken down correctly, the kitchen made an oops. Of course I was already comfy at home, and it was cold outside last night (this was at 10pm). So, coming back outside wasn't an option. I called and spoke with the young lady who took my order, she remembered who I was and we laughed as she recounted my order. 21 hours ago Worst brunch experience ever!.. I've been to this restaurant before and agree with others Food is overpriced (guarantee it's not organic). Over crowded and food is nothing special at all. My friends and I were sitting in the bar area drinking having a good time, Maybe being a little too loud and animated. However the manager comes by talks to us like were small children, tells us we've had to much to drink based on what we had been drinking all day and that we are cut off and have to leave. He would pay for our last carafe of mimosas. I have never I'm my life been kicked out of a restaurant. I was shocked I explained we werent drunk just having fun, he said yes that's great but we had been served too much. There was three of us between all of us we had ten drinks including 2 carafes in 4 hours. We ordered 2 appetizers, and two huge meals to share. The manager assumed we were drunk and said can we call you all an uber. The audacity.... this is how you treat customers?.. non of us did anything to deserve being kicked out. We werent bothering other ppl or belligerent, or causing a scene. I advise everyone to find another restaurant in Frisco to go to. This place is horrible!!!! It was a good place to visit, with a twist on common items. I have to admit, when I saw "Mash'd", I thought they were talking about mashed potatoes. Turns out they were talking about getting smashed on alcohol. They offer several varieties of moon shine and other beverages. I took advantaged of some of their mixed drinks, but they were very watered down and not strong at all. I told the waitress that the drink were really weak and she fixed it by bringing me 2 shots to add to the drink. Much better! The food is the same you find at other home style places, they just have a twist on them. Biscuits and gravy with chicken, the gravy is a weird pepper and spicy sauce. It tasted good, but I didnt prefer the mix. Oh and the biscuits were also something different. They all tasted good, it just wasnt what I was expecting. I am not a huge fan of moon shine, but every dish we tried was delectable from the fried pepperoni to their fried chicken with their secret sauce to their meatloaf and even their rebellious burger. My choice of poison is called a Hawkeye, a delectable concoction of Tito's, fresh strawberry, lemon & balsamic, topped with a sprig of rosemary. (Don't knock it until you try it.) Be the artist behind your own craft Mimosas. Mash'd offers fresh blueberry, peach, & blood orange juice. Perfect to splash your Prosecco with! Do not get me started with the Knock Out Punch. Let's just say there's a 2 per person limit. Oh yea! I almost forgot! They also serve food . Everything on the brunch menu is great. Mash'd Tator Eggsplotion really serves as a delicious coating for your stomach considering the amount of alcohol you might consume. Servers & bartenders are wonderful and attentive. It's rustic style and family sized tables make it an excellent venue to celebrate birthdays, bridal brunches, etc. There is a small private room towards the back of the restaurant which lets a small group gather in a more intimate setting. Finally got to try Mash'd, and it was good. It wasn't wait for an hour on a Saturday night good though, so we sat outside in 52 degree weather, comforted by the fact there were heat lamps. Or not comforted - cuz it was cold. Anyway, I wanted to try the moonshine of course, and went for the Russian Hillbilly, obviously a take on a White Russian. It was good, but sweet. In hindsight, I wouldn't have chosen it to accompany my meal. Next I tried the Agave Heat, which was *amazing* and recommended by our server! I have been a little afraid to try a jalapeno margarita anywhere, for fear it would be too spicy. The Agave Heat had some heat but was not overly spicy and my mouth was not burning. I wanted more Agave Heats! It wasn't until we were leaving that I realized there was no moonshine in the Agave Heat. Whomp whomp. For dinner, I ordered the cheeseburger (boring, I know) with a side of Caesar salad. The burger was tasty, but not anymore exciting than a burger from Chili's. I didn't even realize (until the next day!) that my burger arrived with fries instead of the salad. I was trying to be semi-healthy but Mash'd had other plans. The fries were thin but tasted nice and garlicky, they were delicious. Overall, food was good and service was good. Wow! First time dining at Mash'd and I was impressed even though I had read all the glowing reviews before my visit. The atmosphere is nearly perfect with a full service bar (including a Moonshine section), live music (the gentleman playing and singing Thursday April 29th was EXCEPTIONAL!), and outstanding customer service. The only drawback is the music is a little too loud to hear everyone at your table if you have a party greater than 4. The Chicken Fried Pepperoni (it's loaded) is unique, delicious and extremely flavorful! I had the Chicken and Biscuits for dinner and I was immediately taken back to my southern upbringing due to the homemade Cheddar Biscuits and what was a variation of classic Southern Red Eye Gravy. It tasted almost like a mix of Southern and Southwestern flavors combined. The chicken was fried perfectly and had great texture! I totally enjoyed my dining experience and my only recommendation is that you need to open a location in San Antonio so I can try everything on the menu!!!! read more

Ate here on a Sunday around 1pm. Place was pretty busy and happening with loud music, funny YouTube videos playing on a big screen, and $2 mimosas that were tasty (I had blood orange flavor). Not kid unfriendly but also not overly kid friendly. They do have 3-4 items on an unpublished kid menu, you just have to ask. Our waiter was really friendly and down to earth. My daughter was thoroughly entertained by the funny YouTube videos playing - luckily none of them seemed to be inappropriate. They have a brunch and an un-brunch menu. I started to order a crispy chicken salad but was warned that it contained a ton of blue cheese, and I appreciated the heads up in that. Ended up getting the fresh fish sandwich which happened to be trout that day. It was very good but I have to say the bun didn't hold up well due to the sauce/liquid from the fish. It got a little soggy. But otherwise was very tasty. My daughter had kids chicken strips with french fries. The french fries are very thin and crispy - we really liked them.
