First visit here was a success. I ordered the green Chilaquiles with eggs and Carne Asada burrito. yes a chilaquiles burrito!!! The friendly lady took my order and prepared everything fresh, that includes frying up some fresh tortilla chips for the chilaquiles. IMPRESSIVE... I want to come back and try some more options. It was not very crowded on a Friday afternoon, but the food was fantastic and the service was friendly. Clean restaurant with a nice salsa bar to accompany any of your dishes. If I could this spot 6 stars I would. I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food because I feel most of the time I can make it better. Well, well, well I have definitely been proven very wrong after trying Maskadores tacos. I was working in the area and needed a quick dinner. I have been thinking about tacos for weeks and I found Maskadores on yelp. WOW loved how clean everything was and the staff was very nice and helpful. I ordered 4 chicken street tacos with a side rice and beans. You can pick your meat, and toppings the flavor was amazing. The salsa tasted so fresh. Love this spot and might have to stop by tomorrow for a burrito. I also had a taste of their specialty "green chili" it was spicy and so crazy good. I love Maskadores! Was looking for a lunch spot in this area and saw this pop up as a new location. I've been to the Scottsdale location and enjoyed my food during those visits. I came in a Saturday afternoon and had the place to myself - they said they've been open about 8 months so business is growing. The ladies taking and preparing my order were friendly. I ordered their taco salad (#11) with chipotle chicken and got lettuce, tomato; onion, cheese, queso, cilantro, corn, refried beans, rice, chipotle sauce, and red salsa. It was a generous serving! I loved it and wish I would've added more lettuce on top to feel healthier. One thing I didn't like is the taco shell tasted bitter, probably from old oil. Other than that it was filling and flavorful and I would return and order other menu items. read more

Messed up my whole order, spent 16$ to not even eat a quarter of my burrito. Although the meat is good. The service was good. When I asked what was in the burrito they told me meat fries and pico. I said no pico add light rice. I eat my burrito and there a ton of quac and onions read more

Great service and food here. Only tried their wet burrito and chimichanga but they were both good. The burritos are very hefty and I think I would've been ok with just half a burrito instead of one whole one. I got the carne asada and al pastor and preferred the pastor. I wanted more of a steak flavor from the carne asada but it wasn't bad. The pastor has good flavor and I'd definitely get it again. The price is about $13 per burrito which is kind of pricey but it's a very large burrito. Their salsa bar is well equipped and has the guac sauce, all salsas, lime, and etc. Overall a great experience and I would come back. read more

Have been 4 times in the past couple of months, each time getting street tacos and each time excellent. They have several options which range from mild (carne asada) to spicy (green chili beef) to chicken. Each extremely tasty with great tortillas. Salsa bar also solid. I walked in and the presence wasnt overall inviting. The inside is dark and loud music. The two lady's working there were nice enough but definitely didn't go above and beyond to create an experience. Which was disappointed because it was my first time and I would have loved help ordering or even suggestions. I ordered a Barbacoa burrito, and 4 street tacos 2 tinga chicken and 2 asada. The burrito came with decent amount of meat but very little rice and beans. And the guac is extra but you get like a spoon full. Overall the burrito tasted good and their chipotle sauce was pretty good only downside was how wet it was very hard to eat without getting all over my hands. As for the tacos. I wouldn't get them again, much better places for tacos around here. I probably wouldn't come back unless I happened to be near one and wanted to try another one of their burritos. We consider ourselves lucky that Maskadores Taco Shop is so close to to us. The food is made so well and the menu is amazing. We love how excited the staff is when they see returning customers. The food here was soooo good! The service was even better. Paulina was so sweet and we loved her! Me and my husband love spicy food and often feel let down with the spice level typically offered at other restaurants... BOY does this place not disappoint! There were tons of options to make your food actually spicy. The extra hot Serrano sauce is delicious and not for wimps. We got the wet burrito with green sauce and the hard shell tacos. So good I am shocked. I ordered the Taco salad with chorizo and the macho fries. Both were exploding with flavor. FRESH flavor. The meats were rich and savory and perfectly cooked. The veggies were crisp and delicious. The sauce and pickled cabbage married well with the other flavors. I thought this was going to be another filibertos kind of place. Basic refried beans and carne kinda thing. No sir! This was 5 star gourmet mexican food in a casual environment with great prices. I saved half the salad contents and mixed it with scrambled eggs the next morning for burritos and it was another pleasant surprise. The salsa is AMAZING. They have several kinds.
