Only been to the new location in La Plata maybe once since they moved here. I stopped coming because I didn't like how they fried the fish. The coating isn't nice and crispy. It's too light and just flakes off. Anyway, my family and I decided to order from here tonight 3-30-26. I ordered two croaker baskets and a jumbo shrimp basket. Placed my order at 5:07 pm. This was after standing in a long line. Walked down to Giant to make a purchase and then came back to my food still not ready. Finally decided to ask after sitting here for 20 minutes! How about the order was never put in! How the heck is that possible when I paid and have the receipt. Watched people that ordered after me get their food and leave. Here it is 5:56 pm and I still don't have my food! They said they put it in and it will be out soon. Several other orders have come out and I'm still sitting here! I tired to give y'all another chance. No apology or offer of anything. Yeah I'm pretty sure I won't be back! Do better! Oh finally got my food at 6pm. Carlita the cashier was the only one that really acknowledged what happened. Where's the manager! She should have come out to offer an apology. Smh.

As I started to eat, I noticed I only received 1 cluster and a 2 tiny loose legs in the bag. When I brought it to the server's attention, the manager came over and tried to tell me that the 2 small loose legs counted as a second cluster. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and making it right, she went back and forth with me in front of my 6-year-old child while attempting to put her finger in my bag to count the 2 little loose legs out to me. I've been coming here for over a year, and I have never received 1 cluster and a 2 tiny legs that would count as a full pound. A full pound should come with 2 full clusters. The customer service and professionalism during this situation were very disappointing. I usually never complain but I felt this was much needed. Unfortunately, this experience has made me decide not to return. Rock and Toss just lost a loyal customer. Don't come here unless you want to get less than what you paid for!

I love a server who doesn't hover but always checks to see if everything is going well. She def rocked! I have been so excited to get on and share how incredible this place is since we left. My husband asked if I wanted to go back, within the week. This is *UNHEARD* of. I don't know if he has ever loved a restaurant so quickly and so MUCH. He's been craving seafood boils for a few days now, so he suggested we go this afternoon. We went around 3-4pm. The crowd was minimal, but still, there were probably 15-20 tables full. It's a nice sized restaurant , about the size of a "pub"/local dive bar. The hostess was really welcoming (no eye rolling or impatience!!). She greeted us with a smile and a kind gesture and promptly sat us in a booth. The entire restaurant was clean, whimsical and smelled like old bay and garlic. Great art and seafood accoutrements all over the walls and booths The music was 2000s R&B and couldn't have been more perfect. Our server was incredible. We were given two very easy to understand menus and a "basket" of popcorn! It tasted like movie theater popcorn , our cups which were paper cups and a paper table cloth which lent to the "crab house" vibe we love so much, "seafood sauce" (mayo based siracha sauce think, with old bay? - it's like a spiced Big Mac sauce), clarified butter, cocktail sauce, gloves, a garbage pail, crab cracker tools and plastic silverware, and wet wipes and bibs (which I used because of course I visited in a white shirt!) After no more than a 10-15 minute wait, we had our boils "Rocked and Tossed" right to the table!! Seasoning 100% covered everything!! We ordered: Freshly brewed, 1/2&1/2 sweet/unsweetened tea. (It was very reminiscent of Chick-Fil-A tea/McDonald's tea...the good kind!) Not overly iced. So delicious!! Husband: 1 combo boil with snow crab legs, sausage and extra corn, (comes with corn and potatoes), garlic seasoning and medium heat. His garlic sauce smelled to die for. Very well rounded, (I tasted it). It had sliced garlic in it and wasn't too salty at all. The medium heat wasn't too hot, but don't take my word for it, get the heat level you like. His crab legs pulled *perfectly*. The sausage was wonderfully Smokey with that crispy/crunchy edge. The corn was tender and juicy, not overly cooked and the potatoes melted like butter. Me: 1 combo boil with snow crabs and crawfish and added hard boiled eggs (also comes with corn and potatoes), "Rocking Bomb" seasoning (old bay, garlic, lemon pepper, Cajun). *I have never had crawfish THIS good in my entire life.* I genuinely cannot describe the euphoria I had with words, but I'll try. They weren't muddy/fishy. They absorbed the flavors so well, yet preserved the firm but tender texture of the meat. They were very easy to break into, just like the crab legs. Nothing got stuck or jammed. The eggs were a balanced addition, soaking up all that awesome flavor. I ate one half way through and the second at the end. Again, nothing was abnormally fishy. Seafood can, at times, taste a little too oceanic. Everything came out piping hot, but not so hot you couldn't tear right into it. Both boils were nice and buttery. We tried using the gloves but ended up tossing them. They have sinks right in the open so it is easy to get up and wash up if you get too messy. (The bathrooms are on the smaller side - with the women being two stalls, and I didn't see any others, so the extra sinks really come in handy). There was a very kind gentleman bussing tables. He was fast and thorough. He was very pleasant to us as we walked by him. Very courteous!!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Literally nothing was bad. I cannot wait to go back and hope they stay in business for a millennia to come. I believe we found THE best seafood boil restaurant in all of Maryland!!

A few friends and I gathered for dinner at Momi's before the evening show. You might be a little confused as to how it works but that's okay. We all were. You start by placing your order and then you're asked to sit at a table. Actually, a sign tells you that the toppings area is not for waiting and that you are expected to wait elsewhere. It was not a terrible wait when you have friends but I would place an online order ahead of time if I were doing a pick up. Sometimes a wait only means your food is being prepared fresh. And this was the case here. I got the lamb kabob fare which came with pita and five toppings. My toppings were the beets, cucumbers, corn, cabbage, and pickles. I have to admit that I may have gone too far on the pickle scale as almost all my toppings were on the vinegary briney side. I almost couldn't finish the last of the pickles because they were too briney! We all thought the servers were trying to give us extra toppings. They kept asking if we wanted this or that and they even added extra cucumbers to my plate once I stopped at the designated five toppings. After selecting my five toppings, I was asked if I wanted any yogurt and hummus. Sure, why not. I have no idea if they were included in what I paid. Then the last question was do I want the sauce to be hot or not. I said not and got a drizzle of green sauce on my lamb kabobs. And when I was handed my plate, I was given a blessing. And how can you not smile and thank your server! The lamb kabob was nicely prepared and soft. It was worth the wait. I enjoyed all my toppings and if I ever come back, I will try some of the other toppings. The french fries were really hot upon pick up at the counter but nice and crisp. (Note: one of my friends ordered the beef burger and as he proceeded to put some mayo on it from a packet, the mayo was solid.) Parking: Plentiful

As we pulled into the parking lot, it looked very busy. There were a lot of people standing outside and several near the entrance. As we got closer, we realized most of them were actually leaving, which was a good sign. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. As it turned out, the gentleman who seated us was also our server. He brought us water and an iced tea while we looked over the menu. We decided to start with the fresh baby kale salad from the specials menu. It included fresh apples, pears, blue cheese, pecans, and a delicious vinaigrette. Shortly after, our server returned with bread and took our dinner order. My wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and I ordered the Lamb Ragu special with homemade pasta. The salad arrived looking beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The apples and pears were fresh, sweet, and cut perfectly. The vinaigrette complemented everything without overpowering the ingredients. It was a great start to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was that our entrées didn't come out immediately after we finished the salad. We had a chance to relax and enjoy the evening. Sometimes a salad can fill you up, so it was nice to have a little break before the main course arrived. When our meals came out, both dishes looked amazing. Our server offered additional cheese for the pasta dishes. My wife added a little to hers, but I wanted to experience the Lamb Ragu exactly as the chef intended. The Fettuccine Alfredo was excellent. You could tell they use fresh cream, cheese, and butter to make the sauce. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. My Lamb Ragu was outstanding. The lamb was incredibly tender, and the sauce paired perfectly with the homemade pasta. I cleaned my plate. For dessert, we shared a slice of lemon cheesecake. My advice: don't share it--get your own slice. It was that good. The coffee was excellent as well and was the perfect way to finish the meal. We can't wait to return. The food here is consistently amazing, and the service is top-notch. What really stood out was the teamwork among the staff. You don't just have one server taking care of you. If our tea or water was getting low, someone was always there to refill it. Excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

We visited around 1 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately, which was a great start. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and calamari. The Caesar salad was surprisingly small and came with only two croutons. The calamari was a decent portion size, but the flavor was just okay, I've definitely had better elsewhere. For our entrée, we ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The flavor itself was very good, but the noodles were extremely watery, almost giving the dish a soup-like consistency. The portion size was also extremely small, especially considering the price point. Overall, I found the restaurant to be quite expensive for both the portion sizes and the overall dining experience. While the service and seating were fine, the food was ultimately underwhelming for me. Unfortunately, it's not a place I would return to.
