This location is tight in space but service and food make up for this. An intimate environment with large portions.

Maryann is the star server. Our dinner was memorable as always at Massa, my favorite. The corner table is the best ambient view of the restaurant.

We had the Italian salad with sweet vinegarette. This is a staple and I love it! And a portebella with seafood - excellent! The waitress, Mary, was so nice, she was helpful, and kept us in warm bread! There is live singing! It is an unassuming building but Mary said this was the original Massas! It is definitely worth a try. She said that they have great filet that's extra thick! It felt like I was I some place in NYCity. Mary has helped with wine choices! The service is excellent, the combination was good. It's all

There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.

Even though we were 25 minutes early, our table was ready and we were immediately seated. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and also minutes after we were seated by our server. Our server was friendly and efficient. Drinks were delivered and refilled, as necessary. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. The decor is simple and tasteful. We waited a reasonable amount of time for our food, which was delivered hot and tasty. The only dish that wasn't 100% was my Chicken Spedini. I have had it there once before and it was amazing. This time, the lemon sauce was thick and sweet. Last time it was lemony and buttery. Otherwise, the Veal Parm was perfect, as were all of the other dishes. This is a nice restaurant with great service and quality cooked and tasting food.

Shortly after I sat down, we started with cocktails, I went with an old standard, but my husband and son tried signature drinks, and I highly recommend the Milk dud martini (it's almost dessert). We had Mark as our server (who was extremely attentive and helpful in making selections), he suggested a sample appetizer of tortellini and lobster ravioli (just a sample of each) and it was the perfect start to dinner. We then moved on to salads, some had the Italian salad and some had the Caesar - both were good, but the Caesar was served in a tortilla shell.... would have been better in a parmesan crisp cup. I selected the Sea Bass special - it was perfectly cooked and was in a perfect sauce. My husband and son had the Reagan pasta and my daughter in law had the Busch chicken all cooked to perfection. My other 2 sons had steak, one had the filet and one had the strip - both very generous cuts of beef and cooked perfectly....all in all a good night. Only curious item was when I asked for one of the small rooms I was told they had reservations for them....but we did not see it

We arrived on a quiet, cold night and were seated right away. There were plenty of tempting menu options and specials, which made choosing difficult. We started with Nonna's meatball and each ordered a pasta dish. My wife chose the pistachio pasta, and I ordered the pappardelle. The meatball was excellent, and the sauce had an almost barbecue-like tang. My pappardelle was incredibly satisfying and easy to finish despite the generous portion. That said, my wife's dish was the clear winner. The chili brought a piquancy that read as a pleasant smoky note, perfectly complementing the tomato base. The tiramisu was unique and truly one of a kind. We will definitely be back.

Being from the Bay Area in California, I had never heard of toasted ravioli so I added it to my itinerary. I found this place on Yelp and saw that Guy Fieri (another Bay Area native) had featured it on his show so I settled on Anthonino's. I walked over from the Botanical Garden on a Friday afternoon around 12pm so that I could get a better feel of the streets, locals, surrounding shops, and the Hill neighborhood. The area was very calm, clean, safe and had a sense of pride. I enjoyed the sights and sounds throughout the streets and by the time I arrived at the front door, I was super excited to eat. I was seated quickly at the bar and given a menu and water. The bar staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to and also took my order within a few minutes. The restaurant quickly filled up behind me and it was a lively environment. I really appreciated that the TVs had sports shows on (huge sports fan and was in town to visit Busch Stadium) so it gives you something to look at. I ordered the toasted ravioli and a tiramisu. As a solo traveler, I have to limit how much I can order so this was the perfect amount for me. The food was amazing and I wished that I could have tried more plates. The ravioli had great flavors and texture and the tiramisu was so creamy and fresh. I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself. We came in on a Monday night, and the restaurant was rather busy, even for it being after 7pm. We were seated promptly by the window. The decor in the place is rather plain and, well, dated, but I'll never be picky about what a place looks like in the regard. Is it clean? Yes! Anyway, we had an opportunity to browse the menu before our waiter made it to our table. Mind you, it was a busy place and he was the only waiter, as far as I could figure out, so we were totally fine with a delay. We ordered an appetizer, mozzarella sticks, and we both ordered manicotti, one with red sauce and one with red/white sauce. I also ordered a side salad to try out their house dressing. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly, along with bread and butter. Both were great! I wished the mozzarella sticks were a bit warmer, but that's just me being picky. It wasn't cold by any means. Our manicotti came out pretty quickly. The presentation was very boring and plain: it was served on a plate, not a baking dish like many other places. However, the flavor? On point! It was sooo good. The pasta specifically tasted very fresh and was almost crepe-like in texture. Seriously tasty. The sauces were equally fantastic and not bland or boring at all. We wanted dessert, but we were so full! Next time we are totally doing dessert because I'm all about some tiramisu. It was a great meal and we will definitely be back. Don't sleep on this place and don't judge it based on the outside (a strip mall) or the decor. It's excellent!
