    Pizza

Food- I ordered a pizza so that I could eat part of it there and take the rest with me back to a nearby hotel I was staying at. It is definitely St. Louis style pizza. Like an upgraded IMO's. Delicious if you like that style of pizza. Atmosphere- older place, lots of character. Like many old, full of character restaurants it could be cleaner. It looked like there were a lot of local regulars there. Staff were friendly and extremely attentive without being annoying.

I didn't realize there was a Massa's in north county. It's very close to the airport and I found it on my way to get gas. I'm partial to Massa's since my wife and I went to the south county restaurant on our first date over 30 years ago. I didn't have much time so I just ordered the fried ravioli to go. They were delicious and hot. Love the marinara. The inside of this restaurant is pretty swanky. I'd like to go back when I have more time. The waitresses were hustling but very friendly.

Massa's is a well known local favorite for Italian food. Recently visited the Bridgeton Mo location and pleasantly surprised at the upgraded flooring and it looks great! Unsure when it was done but there was carpet in the past.... This is a smaller dining area and there is a full bar in the back where you can pick up to go orders as well. Upon arrival we did not have a wait to get a table (must have been perfect timing). Our waitress came over quickly to take drink orders and brought over the tasty Italian bread! Our choices for the evening was a large salad to share, carbonara pasta and the Cajun pasta. We knew to only order one meal, but ordered two and had plenty of leftovers! The salad was amazing as always! Great dressing, cheese, artichokes, what's not to love! Our pasta arrived in large white pasta bowls. The Cajun pasta is loaded with the most delectable, creamy sauce and shrimp! The Carbonara was creamy with perfect noodles and the best flavors. Truly think this location has the best pasta! Our evening out included this perfect meal with a couple beers from the bar. Hope to be back soon!

This location is tight in space but service and food make up for this. An intimate environment with large portions.

Maryann is the star server. Our dinner was memorable as always at Massa, my favorite. The corner table is the best ambient view of the restaurant.

We had the Italian salad with sweet vinegarette. This is a staple and I love it! And a portebella with seafood - excellent! The waitress, Mary, was so nice, she was helpful, and kept us in warm bread! There is live singing! It is an unassuming building but Mary said this was the original Massas! It is definitely worth a try. She said that they have great filet that's extra thick! It felt like I was I some place in NYCity. Mary has helped with wine choices! The service is excellent, the combination was good. It's all

A bar that serves pizza, dark, shoddy looking interior, looks alone were enough to make me turn around.

Shortly after I sat down, we started with cocktails, I went with an old standard, but my husband and son tried signature drinks, and I highly recommend the Milk dud martini (it's almost dessert). We had Mark as our server (who was extremely attentive and helpful in making selections), he suggested a sample appetizer of tortellini and lobster ravioli (just a sample of each) and it was the perfect start to dinner. We then moved on to salads, some had the Italian salad and some had the Caesar - both were good, but the Caesar was served in a tortilla shell.... would have been better in a parmesan crisp cup. I selected the Sea Bass special - it was perfectly cooked and was in a perfect sauce. My husband and son had the Reagan pasta and my daughter in law had the Busch chicken all cooked to perfection. My other 2 sons had steak, one had the filet and one had the strip - both very generous cuts of beef and cooked perfectly....all in all a good night. Only curious item was when I asked for one of the small rooms I was told they had reservations for them....but we did not see it

We had 6pm reservations and were seated on time but people without reservations faced a 2 hour wait. Make reservations! Upon entering, there is a hostess stand and small bar with seating extending to the back of the building. We had the first table so I can't comment on the full size. My son ordered a Bloody Mary and I had a Pinot Noir while we looked at menu. Bloody Mary was very good and the wine was pleasant. We started with Garlic Bread with Cheese. It was the only menu item I would not order again. Flavors did not come together. I ate my fair share so it was good. Just not great. We then shared a cheese pizza with provel. Elite crust and sauce! The crust had an amazing char and the sauce was deliciously nuanced. The cheese was very good, but most definitely not the star of the pie. Pasta Pomodoro was wonderful. House made pasta was excellent and the sauce was a perfect accompaniment. (Anthonino's really does sauces well!) I finished with tiramisu and I am so glad I did! Did I need it? No. Did I want it? Heck yeah! I think I will be wanting it every day for a long time to come! All of the staff were welcoming and friendly, while remaining efficient. Nice group of people. I would love to be a regular here.

We sat in the patio and water and fresh hot 2 kinds of bread were placed on the table. Our server, Connor, is so knowledgeable and pleasant. He was patient with us and his wine suggestion was spot on. Great sense of humor and he worked all the patio tables. The food choices were amazing and exceeded expectations. Pricing was comparable with what we expected. The lobster bisque was thick, hot and very filling. There was ample pieces of lobster as well. My wife shared that her pasta was not hard or dry or rubbery but tasted freshly made. Connor shared that the prep starts every morning with homemade pasta. The traditional toasted ravioli were just that, toasted and tasty and the CG shrimp seemed so much more than an appetizer. Meals could be had with just those. I was very satisfied it ordered lasagna anyway. I just had them pack it to go as I was comfortably full. I know there are a lot of choices on the Hill but I assure you this one stands out.
