I thought to myself what the heck how hard could it be too change a bulb????? I was feeling a bit optimistic and started looking for an auto parts store in my area. I remember the old days when there were auto parts stores all around. I went onto Yelp and found the nearest one to me which was Abc Auto Parts. I went in told the gentleman behind the counter what I needed and two minutes later I had two brand new bulbs for $6. The store is on the small side but has a good selection of items. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. I got home spent 2 minutes taking the light apart and unbelievably i had break lights again. Abc is a great local store and would definitely go back again.

We chose NEW YORK CITY WINDOW TINTING, which we found on Yelp, where they've earned many excellent reviews. (I'm finally adding mine!) Jerry Ciccio is the principle. He did an excellent job on all my windows. The cost was reasonable, he and his helper arrived as planned, and finished and cleaned up very well. You'll have to do some measuring in advance, send the dimensions to him, and then Jerry can give you an estimate. He'ss answer any of your questions and concerns, and is a very congenial guy. I ended up going home and researching other bike shops. Lo and behold - Bicycle Planet. I called them on the phone and they were able to tell me the inventory they had. They also answered a few questions I had about a kids bikes (this was a present for our son's birthday). I decided to take a little excursion to Syosset to check it out in person. When I got to Bicycle Planet, a guy named Diego helped me. He went over their different options and brands. The orange and blue Specialized I was looking at at the original bike shop was $80 cheaper here. All of their bikes were competitively priced. I picked out the Giant brand bike for my son because red is his favorite color. It is a beautiful and well-made bike. They were able to add on the training wheels for me since our guy is just learning how to ride, but he's getting the hang of it pretty quick. And of course - what bike would be complete without a silver bell? Once I had selected the bike, someone in the tech/assembly department spent a good 20 minutes or so inspecting the bike and ensuring its safety and that everything was in good working order. Diego brought it to my car and helped me get it into the trunk of my car - would definitely love a bike rack in the future especially for when we ride as a family because I think we all want new bikes now! Plus, Diego said that the bike purchase comes with a year of free tune-ups which is pretty sweet. The look on my son's face when we surprised him with this bole was just epic. And the service here at Bicycle Planet is top-notch. If you're looking for a new set of wheels, this is the place to go.

And heat change, light change, Wheel rotator ( dunno the term, but u get the idea), belt change, towing my car. And many more services. I love how honest they are too. One night while i was driving home from work i realized the light inside my car was dark. I wasn't able to see my speedometer. And it was pretty scary bc just my luck i got lost driving and wasn't able to see how fast/slow i was driving on the highway. Thankfully i made it home. Took my car in the next day, explained the situation and Tom was able to fix it w.o charging me a penny bc it was some switch that was accidentally switched. Now you see, i bet if it was any other mechanic shop they would keep your car, have you wait and then later on charge you for a couple of hours for their man hours. (I know this from experience) i took my car in to pep boys one time in Queens they kept my car overnight. And lets just say the next morning i wasnt a happy camper!
