This restaurant is part of the Chase Sapphire reserve dining credits! We had read reviews and had an idea of what we wanted to get, but also spoke with the waitress on her recommendations and ultimately went with: Pork dumplings Salt & Pepper chicken Tiger shrimp with walnuts Oyster mushroom rice noodles Snow pea shoots I think my favorite was the oyster mushroom rice noodles with steak. The rice noodles were so silky and the flavor was good. The salt and pepper chicken was also super crispy and very juicy and tender on the inside and whatever sauce that came on the side of it is so addicting. The tiger shrimp was also good, though the menu said it came with a romanesco cauliflower, but the dish was served with broccoli. The snow pea shoots are one of my favorite vegetable dishes and, in my opinion, was just a little overcooked and doesn't need the garlic oyster sauce that comes on top. It's such a cute restaurant and you can open the vending machine door and grab a surprise treat on your way out!

Our favorites of the night were the salt and pepper chicken with scallion biscuits (jam was amazing, and the chicken was moist and fried perfectly), the walnut shrimp (super juicy and well-cooked, not too over-sauced), the pot stickers, and the cold sesame noodles which had great chew and a lovely, creamy sauce. The crudo was pretty small and nothing to write home about, and the eggplant and tofu curry were a bit under-seasoned for me. The bowls of rice we got to eat with the side dishes were also pretty mushy, as if the rice hadn't been properly rinsed before it was cooked, which was disappointing at $3 a bowl. Room for improvement! Still definitely a spot I'll recommend to friends looking for interesting takes on Chinese food! Service was attentive and smooth throughout the night, and we got some good suggestions on serving sizes for the group. Left stuffed and satisfied!

Yay every last noodle and made a mess of his hands. "here's his review: I have never tasted such good lobster noodles! The people were so nice and even showed us the lobster that we were going to eat along with a picture of us holding it! At first the room looked a bit small but the second I looked around I found I was wrong, the room was huge, homey, and clean!"

I started with the peanut chicken lettuce wraps (leaving one on the plate to save room), then moved on to the fried shredded beef and the fried chicken instant noodles (which really caught my eye) I was craving something heavier this time, and those noddles did justice. Overall, everything was satisfying. The lettuce wraps could've used more peanuts (I barely tasted them), and the fried shredded beef was labeled spicy but had zero heat. Still, the food hit the spot and left me full and happy. The service was outstanding. The restaurant dining area was very clean and well-maintained, my drink was always full, and the food came out quick and hot. The portions were very generous. I ended up taking some home, and they packed it up fast. Happy food, happy customer!

The pea shoots were also delicious although highly expensive for the portion. Most people in the room were Chinese, which is always a good sign. This place is small cute and cozy good for celebrations, families, dates or friends just getting together for lunch or dinner. My server went above and beyond to meet our needs. Grab your camera the bathroom selfie is a must it's so cute in there, but I didn't come here for that so let's get to it! I had their smashed garlic cucumber and that was super tasty after we had their mapo tofu with minced beef! Cooked to perfection the sauce was spicy and delicious paired well with white rice. My little one had their vegetable steamed dumplings and those were phenomenal! Then for dessert we had their new custard carrots omg it was light crispy and the custard was so light and sweet! We also had their special truffle chocolate animal ice cream. Rich and creamy chocolate ice cream so beautiful we didn't want to dig into it but we tore it up! I will go back to try some other dishes like I said I ran into this place not in the plans but turned out to be a delicious run.

This is a great place for authentic chinese food. There is a bit of wait but we got seated sooner…read morethan we expected. The decor is on point and portions are family style. We started with egg drop soup and calamari. For mains we got sweet and sour pork, stir fried green beans, and crispy noodles with beef. Egg Drop Soup- Deliciously creamy and silky. This hits on a cold day. Calamari- Nice chewy calamari pieces with a crisp breading. You get a strong black pepper flavor that gives it a little zing. Sweet and Sour Pork- Crispy deep-fried pork pieces that were tender and juicy. The sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. Very tasty. Stir-fried Green Beans- This was wonderfully fresh. You still get a light crunch out of the beans and a garlicky finish. Crispy Noodles with Beef- Noodles were delightfully crisp with a savory sauce. The beef pieces were tender. Overall flavors and textures were lovely. Great experience overall!

This lap cheong bamboo baked rice is my dream meal for under $11!!…read more Congee Village s a longtime chinatown staple (30 years strong!), serving family style cantonese dishes, dim sum, congee, and rice at reasonable prices. We also get a free mung bean sweet soup at the end. I've been to their Flushing location for dim sum before, but their entrees are even better imo. *Chinese Sausage Bamboo Baked Rice 金銀臘腸燉飯 $10.95 ** Such amazing value! So much lap cheong (chinese sausage/臘腸) and lap yuk (chinese cured bacon/臘肉) piled on top of seasoned rice. The rice soaked up all the oil from lap cheong and the sauces. *Sha Cha Beef and Vermicelli in Casserole 沙茶牛肉粉絲煲 $22.95 ** Almost every table ordered a casserole, and I was surprised by how much beef they packed in. The vermicelli noodles held onto the sauce well. Easily a "rice thief" dish *Sampan Congee 荔灣艇仔粥 $8.50 * The congee came out boiling hot. It was velvety, and loaded with toppings like shredded duck. Definitely eat it fresh though, because the heat from the clay pot makes the bottom start to stick together quickly. *Sauteed Lobster with Sticky Rice 糯米炒龍蝦 $48.95 (MP) * Many people rave about their lobster sticky rice online. It came with so many huge chunks of lobster so you can get your money worth it. There might be more lobster than sticky rice. It was also easy to pick the meat out with just a fork. *Fried Squid with Salt and Pepper 椒鹽鮮魷 $18.95 I wish it had a bit more salt and pepper, but otherwise the fried batter was thin and crispy. I've also never seen fried squid come in such huge, meaty pieces! *Honey Walnut Shrimp 核桃蝦球 $24.95 Skip. Walnut shrimp is usually a go-to, but this one was just okay.
