There was no wait so as a walk in, solo diner, that was a huge plus. The food was sub par at best. I probably wouldn't go back but it was fast and filling.
We came here for breakfast and had a good meal. The eggs and pancakes were tasty and filling. They have some funky super sweet pancake options, but we didn't want to experiment with too sweet as we want some good protein to fuel our day ahead. The staff were friendly but running around and super busy. The location is at the far end of the LINQ closer to the ferris wheel.
Nice stop for a snack. Can't beat the $3 frozen Margherita with$1 tequila float. Shared some wings, buffalo was much better than garlic butter. The wings were descent size and fried hard. Noticed plates on other tables, breakfast foods and salad looked good, too. Service was excellent, friendly.
Maxie's offers a wide variety of options, including a full bar and breakfast and dinner fare. They have gluten free bread, and make a pretty good twist on Benedict with bacon and great holendase sauce. The service was friendly, and they are located right next to High Roller. I had low expectations, but enjoyed the experience for a late night meal.
Ambiance was more of a three, but the Denver Benedict was a solid five. I'm not sure what witchcraft went into toasting that bread inside and out, but this tasted like a giant egg in a hole, and I am here for it. It comes by itself with zero sides, but I did not walk away hungry. They work quickly here, turning tables with precision, and everyone is professional and kind. I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I would come back for more benedicts.
Maxie's at the Linq was a really solid stop when I needed something quick and satisfying. The food was excellent and surprisingly reasonably priced for being right in the middle of the Strip. It's definitely not fine dining, but that's kind of the point here. The diner style menu hit the spot for lunch without taking itself too seriously. It's a great option when you want something familiar, filling, and easy before heading back out into the Vegas chaos.
I'm a foodie who eats with her eyes first, so finding Maxie's tuuked in a corner of the LINQ Promenade, I had to try it out! The visit was an absolute delight and I think I smiled from the moment we walked in. They have a bright, retro-inspired interior with neon signs, bold colors, and playful decor that feels like a modern twist on a classic diner. Kind of casual but full of personality, and the energy is upbeat without being chaotic. We went for brunch, and the menu was a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Everything was over-the-top in the best way, from the towering pancake stacks to the fruit topped waffles and stuffed benedict that looked like it belonged in a food competition. The food wasn't just flashy; it was genuinely delicious. Sweet dishes were indulgent without being excessively sweet, and the savory options were hearty and satisfying. Service was fast and friendly, and even though the place was busy, the staff kept things moving smoothly. It's a great spot for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to kick off their Vegas day with something fun and flavorful. It was truly an experience. When we left, we were full, happy, and already planning a return visit the following day. It's one of the first things I recommend to everyone I know when they ask about where to eat.
David made our night! We were one of his last tables on a busy night but he was energetic and fun. The food was good and the menu is extensive. They had a $1 wing special and they were meaty and cooked perfectly. Our group also shared a chicken flatbread and a burger with fries. The coffee with Baileys was great on a cold night. A fun venue!
Unfortunately, Maxies missed the mark for me. The food was only okay and came out a little cold. I ordered the vegas breakfast and got overmedium eggs. They came out very runny and undercooked. Potatoes weren't crispy. Luckily the toast was great. My husband got chicken and waffles- the chicken was good, and the waffle was okay. The service was terrible. We sat down and weren't served or talked to for several minutes. Then when we finally ordered, half the drinks we ordered were forgotten and there was no one coming around to refill our coffee and water. It wasn't that busy, so I'm not really sure what the holdup was.
We stumbled across Maxie's and decided to have breakfast. What a great choice! Good food and Bloody Mary's. Great service. Will definitely return next time we are in Vegas!
My friends and I decided to try this place for breakfast. The only available seating was outside or at the bar. We chose the bar which wasn't a good idea if you want good service. The place wasn't super busy which was good. The bartender was not very engaging. We had to ask his name. When we asked about coffee options he didn't know what we meant by that. Then he finally showed us the menu with latte and specialty coffee options. The food came out quick. It was prepared well. Food portions are good. It was nice to try something new that's not offered in my home state. I just wished the service was better to enjoy a Maxie diner experience.
Had breakfast here this morning the food was good for a little diner on the linq they had a pretty decent selection with lots of waitresses helping out taking orders and bringing out the food . Also walking distance from the flamingo hotel.
Good was great! I would definitely recommend splitting plates if you want to try an abundance of different items bc the portion sizes are pretty large! Service was great. Everyone was friendly. We sat outside the weather was perfect; the music was a bit loud but over all I'm happy with my experience here!
I sat outdoors during my visit and it wasn't super pleasant (especially compared to San Diego or Los Angeles). I had a seat right next to foot traffic and it smelled funky at times, not an issue with the establishment though. I ordered a California Boxed Benedict and a latte. The first thing I noticed is that the hollandaise sauce is more foamy/airy and less runny/thick than I am used to. Asides from the texture, it still tastes pretty good. I really liked the chopped onions added on top. It adds great textural contrast and a pop of flavor that doesn't overwhelm. The avocado was used very sparingly, I would've appreciated more avocado in this dish. The mushrooms and the spinach taste fantastic. The benedict had two poached eggs on top. Overall this was a filling brunch, but did not make me stuffed. It's not the best thing I've eaten in Vegas, but I enjoyed it and can't think of any other place that serves boxes benedicts. read more

Reasonably priced brunch right on the strip!! The eggs Benedict here are to die for!!! They're incredibly filling and taste amazing!!! Only downside here is having to park in one of the hotel parking lots but if you go on a week day you can usually end your lunch in 1 hour! Parking is usually free for the first hour. read more

I've visited Vegas a handful of times and this is my first time trying this place out. Overall I think this is a decent breakfast spot that would rival Dennys or IHOP. I ordered the guacamole burger with fries and everyone else at my table ordered breakfast. My burger patty was well seasoned and the guacamole added a really nice touch. I also sampled some pancakes from my table which were nice and thick. The coffee was also very good. The one thing from our table that I would not recommend would be the breakfast sandwhich. It is quite literally scrambled eggs in between two pieces of bread with a square slice of cheese thrown on it and two bacon slices. The eggs had almost no flavor and the cheese was not melted. My biggest complaint honestly was the service. My party was a bit indecisive on where to get breakfast and the hostesses were a bit rude with us. Once we were sat our server forgot to bring out the cream and sugars for the coffee and also the ketchup and hotsauce for out food. We also waited roughly 40 minutes for our food to come out. Obviously I can only assume but it just felt like most of the staff either did not care or did not want to be there which really brought down the experience. read more

The service was outstanding. We were about to be seat immediately which I love. Loved my food and waitress provided details on the menu and popular items. I wanted to go back, but I was not in Vegas long enough to revisit this facility. This will definitely be on my list to visit when I'm back in Las Vegas Vegas. read more

This outing proved to be quite underwhelming. Opting to explore a new dining spot, I decided to give this restaurant a shot out of curiosity. The chicken, while crispy and thinly sliced, was disappointingly dry, comprising only two small pieces. The waffle failed to leave a lasting impression, lacking any distinguishing characteristics. The breakfast potatoes, while adequately crispy, were passable, as was the overpriced half avocado, priced at a steep $6 or $8, if memory serves correctly. We always stop by for breakfast, as so many items to choose from served large portions by friendly staff. Today Tiki Hubby had to try the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast 2 steaks, 2 scrambled eggs and home fries. Plenty for 2. Food okay but not as yummy as last time when we got the Benedict Boxes they are famous for. Eggs dry, CFS prepackaged and then deep fried. The peppers in the potatoes were my favorite, sweet flavorful green,red and yellow. read more

We had one of each of the eggs Benedict. Guacamole and chorizo Benedict was outstanding and so flavorful. The bacon eggs Benedict was a little plain tasting, but still good. My husband got our family breakfast from here and it is terrible. The scrambled eggs are wet, the bacon has black spots and it's not a seasoning or burnt spots. Idk what it is I've never seen this before so we're all refusing to eat it. And the pancakes are dry. I'm very upset with this breakfast and I want a refund. This is going in the trash. (The black spots on the bacon is front and back in the same location. It's a part of the meat) read more
Maxie's is located near the Flamingo hotel which is where we stayed at during our visit to Las Vegas. I loved the aesthetic with the 90s hip hop and R&B music videos that was playing on the tv screens ! I was boring and got the eggs , potatoes , sausage and toast breakfast but I seen that Maxie's has these massive French toast plates that I one day will need to try! Definitely did not want to fill up on that before my 6 hour plane ride home , haha ! read more

While this fine establishment may not be readily visible from Las Vegas Blvd. It is quite the gem. The food was quite good -- I can confidently recommend the guacamole burger -- and moreover, the three dollar margaritas, which are only a dollar more for an extra shot --quite the deal considering typical Vegas prices. They were so divine in fact I annihilated FIVE of 'em. read more

It was our first day in Vegas and we went to the Promenade first. It was mid morning and we were getting near hangry. Maxies was right there and looked empty so we figured why not. We sat down outside, it took our server a little bit to come over but that was okay because we were ready when she got there. I never order cappuccino but someone else ordered one and I heard them say they had flavors, so I ordered a pumpkin spice cappuccino. I got the chorizo avocado eggs Benedict - eggs hard poached; I got my 7 year old cotton candy pancakes, and my oldest son got the country fried steak. I saw the pictures of the Benedict in the menu but I didn't really understand what it was. It was better than I expected it could be! So much food and every bite was delicious. The cotton candy pancakes were a sight to behold, pancakes with a huge cotton candy on top. My son was covered in blue before he ever got to the pancakes. My other son finished his whole plate. This was a welcome surprise, especially because of the 3.5 stars it has on yelp. read more

Found a great location off the strip to grab some good dinner food / breakfast. Maxie's hit the spot; they serve good American cuisine. I had breakfast, the standard and the kids had burgers and fries along with a milk shake. On the pricey side, but we are on vacations. I would come back; the food was great and yes; they do have a patio for eating and people watching. read more
This place is an overpriced attempt at a "Denny's" menu. No knock on the service as our server was great. She was super friendly, extremely attentive and was willing to offer suggestions of things to try and things to stay away from on the menu. The vibe is exactly what you expect for a stop and dine-in place on The Strip. read more
Although we did come on the NFL draft weekend the Maxie's wasn't crowded at all which was weird because the service was extremely slow. I was glad I came sober, had I been a hangry drunk the 4 stars would've gone down to 2. Our waiter was slow in bringing water and plates, wait she didn't bring plates till after we ate. LOL We ordered the sliders western style with garlic fries and Tenders with regular fries. I have to appreciate how hot the food was when it came out but please work on faster service. I felt like we were there forever. read more

The food was really good my favorite was the fries !! The service went really well she was quick and made sure we was okay. The ambiance was really nice , got to watch my sports games as I was eating. I recommend this place! My husband had got the waffle stack (unfortunately I didn't get a pic) but he said was great!! We wanted to take the rest to the hotel but they didn't have microwaves, but definitely gives enough to keep you full! read more
I had the chicken and waffles. It was a wonderful tasting breakfast. The waffle was fluffy with a crispy crust and the chicken was perfectly fried. Butter, syrup and their own hot sauce brought it all together. They do offer GF pancakes that we did not try today. read more

Maxie's has a bit of a "classic" diner feel and is located near the High Roller. The service was good, though I think I beat the crowd so the staff wasn't running around like you see in many diners. Food was hit or miss. The Breakfast Potatoes were amazing. They reminded me of Arby's curly fries but more consistently cooked and in an easier to eat format. The Eggs Benedict on the other hand wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The eggs were leaking yolk when it made it to the table and there was WAY too much spinach under the eggs. The bread was tasty but the ratio to the toppings was off. I know it's part of their thing, but I think this would be better if they used about 2/3 of the bread. read more
We went to Maxie's for brunch based on location and pictures online looked good. Unfortunately was dissatisfied with the food. There was no wait and we were sitter at a nice table. Our waitress was very friendly and you could tell was very busy. For being busy she took our order in a reasonable time. Wait for the food was quite a while. Once received you could tell the food had been sitting under the warm for quite some time; all dried out and hard. The textures and flavors were all very bland and boring. The birthday cake French toast was absolutely disgusting. Waitress was wonderful and sweet but the food is not worth the cost. The bill was very expensive. read more

Nice surprise to find a place that serves breakfast all day right in the middle of the strip near High Roller observation wheel, Linq and Flamingo. Quality was good as was service (ask for Kelvin!) Prices are reasonable. Waffles have a nice consistency (not dry and cakey). I ordered the Maxie special with a side of potatoes (huge portion that comes with sautéed bell peppers). read more

Maxie's is a very quaint establishment that gives off diner vibes. We came for breakfast and the food did not disappoint! I ordered a Denver omelette and it was full of cheesy goodness and veggies. Our server was not always easy to flag down as there were a LOT of tables to wait on, but luckily we were not in a huge rush. read more

Wife had gluten free pancakes with berries and a massive cotton candy surprise which she LOVED!!! I had the breakfast burrito which was OK but not great--it was a bit dry to my taste. I prefer a wetter style burrito. Not a fan of the 3% "convenience fee" which I do not feel is convenient in any way. read more

AMAZING PLACE FOR BREAKFAST!! This is my favorite meal in Las Vegas in terms of taste and cosmetic look. The wait was a bit long in the morning and the service inside wasn't that quick, but the food was really good. I ordered california benedict. If you don't mind the wait this is a good breakfast place. Our order included the gravy and biscuits in my friends opinion they had good flavor and consistency. I ordered the French toast and they had a really good vanilla flavor with fresh fruit can't beat that. Overall a good breakfast nothing Wow about what we ordered. Service is good with the exception of having to ask for the straws 5x and getting the same " oh yeah let me get them" and seeing that the waitress had them in her apron . The hostess was very nice and what helped waiting outside were the misters . The weather was waaayyy to hot . read more
Came here on a whim, we were up early and were looking for breakfast and came across Maxies. We arrived shorty after they opened at around 8:10 and had a 5 minute wait. No complaints. We sat down and were served water. We ordered the French toast with fresh berries and the breakfast sandwich. The French toast was good. Flavored well and berries added some freshness to it. It wasn't outstanding but definitely tasty. My husband got the breakfast sandwich and again it was good but not extraordinary. My one semi-complaint is the customer service was lacking. It just seemed like the host and waitress was not happy. They weren't rude but it just seemed like they were ready to go and the restaurant just opened. Overall, I would return here again. I recommend you arrive early because by the time we walked out they had built up a wait. read more
