Honestly blown away by the service! Great server, amazing food, and a super cute restaurant. It's good to know we have such a good thai place in east las vegas!

Shrimp Rolls (5 Pieces)

Another successful and delicious meal at Maya Thai. It was just my daughter and I this time, we ordered a Thai Tea, beef with broccoli, beef pad see eww, shrimp rolls, curry puffs, shrimp rolls, everything was yummy as always and it was my daughters first visit and she enjoyed the food as well.

After spending a year in Thailand, I've been craving real Thai food that actually tastes like Thailand not the watered-down version most places serve. I stopped by Maya Thai Restaurant, and let me just say... this place delivers. The spicy glass noodle salad (Yum Woon Sen) instantly took me back to the streets of Bangkok perfectly balanced heat, lime, fish sauce, and that unmistakable freshness of Thai herbs. Every bite had that authentic kick and flavor that's so hard to find outside of Thailand. From the first bite, I felt like I was living in Thailand again. The portion was generous, the spice level was spot-on, and the staff was super friendly and attentive.

First time here and it might be my new favorite east side spot for Thai food. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant was small, with cute decor and clean. The food was tasty and the spice level was perfect ( I like a lot of spice ) . I ordered spring rolls for an appetizer and a Thai tea to start off. Their peanut sauce was different than other places, I could taste a little curry in it, which I never had before. I had a classic combo of beef jerky and sticky rice with Lao style papaya salad, with a small order of vegetable Tom yum for my meal. All very good. I couldn't resist the mango sticky rice for dessert, which hit the spot. I will need to come back to try their other dishes.

I've had this spot on my list to try for quite awhile as it is one of the rare Thai spots on the east side of Vegas. It's located in a strip mall right off of Nellis and is definitely a blink and miss it type of place. There is ample parking and a small indoor dining area. We stopped in for lunch on Sunday and were the only diners, however there were a couple of people that stopped in to grab takeout orders. The server was super friendly and attentive our entire time dining here, we always had a full glass of water, which is much appreciated in this crazy heat! The menu is really nice (odd compliment, I know) and features photos of many of the dishes, which helps when trying to narrow down what to order. My fiancé started with the potstickers, which had a creamy sauce that I found interesting as most come with a soy sauce base. That said, he thoroughly enjoyed them and liked the sauce. I'm pescatarian, so I didn't try them. For our main dishes, we ordered our usuals- Pad See Eew with chicken (spice level 7) for him and Pad Prik King with veggies (spice level 8) for me. Our food arrived and you could literally see the steam coming off of the plates, it doesn't get much more fresh than that! Our server left a caddy of extra spicy elements that we could add at our discretion, which I ended up doing because the 8 was pretty mild for me (next time I'll go for 10!). My fiancé was happy with his spice level, however, so it's really a matter of preference. Both of our dishes were delicious and the portion sizes were generous. I was missing a bit of the brightness and flavor from a traditional Pad Prik King, I'd find little pockets of it, but overall it was a good sauce. This is a great spot to check out, especially if you live on the east side!

Very stingy and over priced. Not worth it imo. They also need to fix their menu. They advertise mango sticky rice but only give rice no mango.

Chicken Pad Thai spicy #6

I'll start this with, I've eaten at all the top Thai restaurants in the valley many many times. Found this place on yelp and it's on the east side of Vegas so I figured I'll check it out. Very happy I did as the Chicken Pad Thai was the best I've ever enjoyed hands down. Candy the person who processed my order was very polite and the resturaunt was incredibly clean. I will definitely return!

We were on the east side of town and decided to eat lunch and we saw this place! Glad we came! This place just opened and boy am I glad they did! Large portion sizes with reasonable prices! Place is small but clean and cute. Comfortable for a family and reminds me of the home vibe. Service was quick and our order was quick to come out! Food: Crab fried rice 5/5: this was my favorite! The rice was plenty enough for a family of four! The fried rice was just the right mixture of spices and they gave plenty of crab on top! Beef fried rice: 5/5 was also amazing! Different from the fried rice with tomato and other spices but very flavorful! Also large portions too! Crispy fried pork with chinese broccoli! 5/5 my other favorite! The sauce they added was flavorful and complimented the chibese broccoli. Chinese broccolu itself is bitter but the sauce made it less bitter. Also the crispy pork was no soggy and just crispy enough to enjoy! Calamari: 5/5 my daughter loved this and she used it as a meal for her crab fried rice! She loved it! Overall we had a fantastic experience with fast service and delicious food. Will definitely stop by whenever we are on the east side!

They were crispy and flavorful, but had very little chicken filling. The vegetable tom kha was disappointing--it was too watery and tangy and lacked the creamy coconut flavor I expected. The Panang curry, however, was excellent--rich, creamy, well-spiced, and full of flavor. We ended the meal with the mango sticky rice, which was absolutely delicious and a must-try. Since it was a hot day, we also ordered lemonade, but it tasted more like chilled water and wasn't anything special. On our second visit, we tried the chicken satay, which was juicy, tender, and very flavorful. The Thai tea was just okay, but the chicken khao soi and chicken larb were both absolutely delicious and must-tries. The khao soi was rich and comforting, while the larb was fresh, spicy, and packed with flavor. The service was exceptional on both visits. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. One important tip: make a reservation, because the wait times can be quite long, especially during busy hours. Overall, Lotus of Siam has some real standouts. I would definitely return for the Panang curry, chicken khao soi, chicken larb, and mango sticky rice.

Lotus of Siam is a Thai restaurant with multiple locations in Las Vegas, including this one on…read moreFlamingo Road minutes from the Vegas Strip. It's a casual spot, family-owned, and known for introducing Americans to Northern Thai cuisine. The sai oua ($24) was a Northern style sausage with a bit of spice and lots of herbaceousness. The garlic prawns ($36) are a popular dish which were fried but contained both the meat and the shell; it was garlicky, crispy, and had good flavor. The drunken noodles ($21) were on the sweeter side and not spicy at all. The khao soi ($22) was also on the sweeter side and was coconut-y. I typically see braised chicken meat in khao soi but this one came with the same kind of thinly-sliced meat seen in the drunken noodles and other stir fries. For drinks, the espresso martini ($17) was good. The thai tea was a bit watered down and had less sugar than normal, even for someone who likes drinks with less sweetness. Even though it's a huge space, I recommend making reservations ahead of time. It might have a significant importance but I've had better Thai restaurants.
