Highly encourage everyone to come and try this Mariscos. Everything that we tried was amazing and you can taste the freshness in the seafood. My favorite was the aguachile verde it had the perfect amount of chili and not only did It have great flavor but it was so refreshing, it was nice and cold just how seafood should be served. Another positive note was that the cook, and the lady taking the orders were super friendly. They had a great energy. They gave us extra tostadas on the side, just in case we needed them. They have a small table with a couple of chairs If you plan to eat the food there. Also There's a lot of parking since they're right next to a CVS. I will definitely be back specially, on this really hot summer days.

I got the camarones en salsa negra and a taco de pescado. My husband had the aguachiles verde and a tostada mixta. Everything we got was delicious we definitely made a great choice by coming. The location is a lunch truck there are chairs and a little table where you can sit and eat your food. They also have take-out and they're there every day as far as I'm aware. I definitely give them 5 start plus five more if you're ever in East Los stop by and try these mariscos. They will not disappoint you.

The food was great!! Their ceviche is cooked with lemon, so it is tasty. Their empanadas are the size of a regular tortilla folded in half, so they are not small. Their large fish tacos are twice the size a regular taco - beware!!! Our order was to go and it was a pleasant surprise to see we weren't missing anything. Their salsas are very good too.

This place has one of the best shrimp ceviche I've had in the area. Everything tastes so fresh and delicious! There's a great variety of seafood options on their menu that look delicious too. Can't wait to try more! Pricing is also very reasonable here, and I really appreciate that there is a picture of the menu from 10 months ago and the prices have remained the same. These days that feels unheard of. This is a hidden gem of a food truck for seafood in the area. Must try! read more

This is one of my favorite mariscos trucks. The owners are incredibly kind. The menu consists of ceviche, cocktails, tacos, burritos. You can also order an off the menu grilled fish plate with rice and fries (which I highly recommend). I believe I've tried just about everything on the menu and haven't had anything I didn't love. I love that you can also order trays of ceviche and tacos. read more

Hidden gem! Some of the best authentic Mexican mariscos I have had in the US. The fish is as fresh as it gets and they have a plethora of hot sauces to complement each dish. The owner who was cooking, and the lady who took my payment/order were both kind and attentive. Couldn't ask for better service. Right in the heart of East LA, this truck is on my rotation of go-to food trucks when passing by the area. Always good vibes, good food, and good service. Delicious! I got a tostada de ceviche de camarón and I basically slurped it off my plate. Flavor was rich and good. I usually have to add lemon or tapatío to my ceviche but with this one I didn't. They have little tables and chairs for you to enjoy your food if you're eating there. Service was friendly and prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get. My plate was only 6$ and was honestly enough for like 2 1/2 tostadas. I was so full for the rest of the day. The empanadas were also delicious. My cousin tried the Tostada Mixta it was spicy was very good. Definitely a food truck I will continually visit when in the area. They definitely use top quality ingredients in their food. read more

Found this place on YELP and went for it! We called to place a last minute catering size and we're told our order would be ready within 10 minutes. This was great because we were about to pass the exit. When we arrived the place was clean and the Customer Service was 10 starts in itself! You can tell he takes pride in his establishment. On top of my order to go I ordered a cup of aguachiles and LET ME TELL YOU, these were sooooooo good with the right amount of spice! My mouth watered just looking at them. I found this place on Yelp I decided to drive all the way from Inglewood to East Los because the photos looked so good, and I was not disappointed at all. The food was delicious and super fresh, I order 2 tostada; one aguachiles and the other a mixta it was very tasty! I also tried the empanadas de camarones they were crunchy add the sauce and it's perfect. But the cherry on the top was the service Ismael the owner was so nice and attentive, I will be coming back for more. read more

I've known Maye for a very long time, ever since he was a chef at another famous mariscos spot, and I can confidently say the best thing he could've done is establish his own food business. You can tell how much he loves what he does by how much passion he puts into his food. He can truly make a delicious and filling meal with anything that comes out of the ocean! The variety of items on the menu is amazing but Maye Mariscos is very unique in that you are able to customize the order to the way you like it, something you can't find at any old food truck. Quality food, great customer service, and located at an extremely convenient crossroads this is a must have for all Angelinos! read more

Todos sus mariscos están frescos. Me encantaron los tacos de camarón. El cóctel de camarón y la campechana mixta estuvo muy buena. El servicio al cliente está excelente. We got a total of five items: a bowl of clam chowder, the soft shell crab appetizer, the roasta, the traditional pan roast with the house speciality protein (with the crab on the side because of my dad's crab allergy), and the jambalaya, which for the last three we ate with medium heat. We shared everything (except for the crab appetizer because, again, crab allergy for dad) and found the food to be delicious, with each entree coming out tasting better than the last. Personally, the roasta was my favorite with the pan roast as a close second. Very flavorful dishes with medium heat being a good level for us (wasn't spicy for our Korean palates). Service was great, our server (unfortunately forgot his name) was attentive and quick with our requests, and although he forgot a side of rice, it was for the best as the food had settled in our stomachs by then and we were content with what we ordered. The restaurant itself is well maintained with ample table space and appropriate lighting, though the music from the evening DJ was a tad bit too loud to hear from across the table. Not a big mood killer for us, though mostly because the good was that good. We're not from this area, so the odds of coming here again are relatively slim -- but should the opportunity present itself, it'll be more than fate this time to take us through these doors once again.

We started with the oyster sampler featuring selections from Hollywood, MD; Pope's Bay, VA; Buzzards Bay, MA; Chesapeake Bay, VA; and Wellfleet, MA. The oysters were exceptionally fresh and served with great accompaniments. We always order oysters when visiting seafood restaurants because freshness is so important to us, and Water Grill absolutely delivered. A must-order. The grilled Spanish octopus, served with fingerling potatoes, Niçoise olives, roasted tomato, pine nuts, and olive oil, was very good (3.5/5). We're fairly picky when it comes to octopus, and while we would have liked a bit more char, it was still among the better versions we've had. The New Zealand king salmon sushi with avocado, hazelnuts, papaya, and white soy-lime vinaigrette was fresh, clean, and delicious (5/5). While not particularly unique, it was executed perfectly. The crispy calamari with harissa aioli and cilantro-mint sweet chili sauce was also well done (4/5)--crispy, not oily, and very enjoyable. Calamari is another dish we frequently order, and this version met our standards, even if it wasn't especially memorable. The standout among the appetizers was the New Zealand pink bream ceviche with cilantro, red peppers, onions, lemon juice, and olive oil. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were incredibly fresh (5/5). We only added a touch of salt. This is another must-order dish. The Peruvian bay scallops with pistachio citrus pesto were somewhat underwhelming (3/5), and the Brussels sprouts with bacon and chestnuts (3/5) didn't leave much of an impression either. The lobster itself was excellent (5/5)--sweet, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The accompanying coleslaw wasn't our favorite, but we'd happily order the lobster again and probably go for a larger portion next time. The absolute star of the evening was the Massachusetts black sea bass. It was easily one of the best dishes of the night and possibly one of the best fish dishes we've ever had at a restaurant (5/5). Tender, juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. To top it all off, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary birthday dessert featuring chocolate cake, vanilla cake, oatmeal cake, and ice cream. It was thoughtful, delicious, and a wonderful ending to the meal (5/5). Overall, Water Grill earns a well-deserved 5/5. The quality and freshness of the seafood were outstanding, the beachfront ambiance was beautiful, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. Definitely a must-try seafood destination in Los Angeles. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience--we truly appreciated it.

The lobster and noodles came out last. Everything was delicious. We loved the lobster and noodles best. So much flavor and the noodles underneath the lobster just soaked up all the buttery, salty, kick of spice flavor. As we dined, many groups came in and the restaurant was bustling. Good thing we came at the right time. We had enough left overs for a total of 4 more meals at home. Would definitely come back for more and would definitely recommend this place.
