Hands down best Thai food I've ever had!! We went because of the reviews and were not disappointed. We got the Beef and Vegan Tofu Pad Thais, Fried Tofu Tod, Tom Kha Soup w chicken, AND mango sticky rice. Fried Tofu was my favorite but honestly everything was beyond delicious. Decided to branch out and try a new Thai place for delivery, and I'm glad I did! I went all out after a long day of dealing with car troubles and got crab Rangoon, shrimp pad Thai, and mango sticky rice. The crab Rangoon was some of my favorite that I've had in awhile-- really thin fried dough encasing savory cream cheese with surprisingly noticeable crab. The shrimp pad Thai followed, with fresh (not chewy per usual) shrimp and a nuanced pad Thai more similar to flavors I tasted in Thailand than most other places. Only downside was it could've used a little bit of spice.The mango sticky rice capped everything off, and was a nice lightly sweetened dessert that made me wish I ate mango more often. Overall, this is a great Thai place with yummy food and reasonable prices, and I definitely will order again to try more dishes! read more

I've tried their food several times now (always via delivery or take out), and they get a solid 4 stars from me. Flavors aren't exceptional or particularly interesting, but overall the food is good, prices are fair, and portions are reasonable. I've tried their drunken noodle a few times (my go-to) and their pad thai once (which was just okay). I appreciate that their drunken noodle actually packs a kick when I request spicy (although the spiciness level has varied from order to order even with the same request). It is pretty oily, but flavors are decent and for $11, quite filling. They also prepare your food pretty quickly for take out, so a couple times I've placed the order before heading home and picked up the food on the way back. Overall this place will likely be my go-to for thai cravings, especially since it's pretty close to where I live. read more

Excellent Thai food. I ordered delivery during the pandemic, and the food is terrific. I ordered an interesting crab wonton with cream cheese. The Penang curry with tofu was excellent, and included real Kafir lime leaves. Also drunken noodles with chicken which was moderately spicy and very nice. All in all, a great dinner. read more

Mayuree is not your typical Thai restaurant. It goes above and beyond to ensure that your experience is all-inclusive. From the decor to being treated like family, to the incredible food, you'll never be disappointed. As far as ambiance, I give 5 stars. I came in with my mother and partner, around 8:30 on a Sunday night. It was pretty empty, but that didn't stop them from treating us to the best service as if it were a busy night. Any time we needed waters refilled or plates cleared, we didn't even have to ask. Now what you're really here for, the food. I don't think I've ever had better Shumai (dumplings) in my life. They were flavorful, filled with pork and shrimp, and perfectly cook with a great sauce to go with them. I would go back just to order a few servings of the dumplings. I ordered the Drunken Noodles, and they were the perfect level of spice for me. The rest of my table ordered the Crispy Pork with Jasmine rice. That was also incredible! We loved that there were actual pieces of jasmine mixed into the rice. All in all, both my visits have been superb and I will be coming back (both to dine and for takeout). read more

I was intrigued by the fact that their red curry has pumpkin, which isn't typical; the pumpkin was a bit dry but the overall dish was good. The visual layout of both dishes was very appeasing; some tofu with reddish skin and what looked like shredded beet added extra color without any weird flavors to the pad Thai dish. I loved the drink menu. Having been to Thailand, it was fun to see very Thai-featured cocktails with names such as the Tuk-Tuk (a three-wheeled taxi) as well as concoctions such as the Canton Iced Tea which was an alcoholic Thai iced tea (a very famous treat in the country.) I got the Pepper-Rita which had Thai bird chili infused Jose Cuervo and Thai salted chili on the rim--it was very spicy and strong on the tequila, a bit too much for me. Interesting atmosphere--first Thai place I've been to that feels like a pub. This place seems popular with Order Up customers, we must've seen one Order Up guy every 10 minutes we were there. Best Thai food I've had in a while! I came here yesterday with a friend and couldn't be more happy to have made that decision. We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Thai Basil with Rice. For the rice bowl, I was particularly pleased by the way the red Jasmine rice blended with the sauces. I typically stick to eating white Jasmine rice because I find brown/multi grain rice too chunky and dry, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out this rice was neither. The chicken pad Thai also stood out to me for its sauces, which made this dish fragrant and a great companion to the rice dish. They put the crushed peanuts and other garnishes on the side of the dish, which I appreciated as it enabled us to customize the pad Thai to our liking! This restaurant is also part bar, so there's a game room with pool, ping pong, and video games - you can also choose the song to play on the juke box, so remember to bring some quarters! Have gotten food for take-out several times now, and it's a pretty solid place to go when you are out in Canton and craving Thai food. Definitely an easy and satisfying weekday takeout spot. I often get their drunken noodle and red/green curries - both are pretty standard dishes that unfortunately can be made too sweet. This place though does it very well and adds the perfect amount of spice! Only reason it's a 4-star is because it doesn't particularly standout - pretty standard in flavor and prices. The happy hour food was just okay. I felt the bartender was pompous and ignored us for a while to chat with someone he knew personally who was sitting next to us at the bar. Ive tried this place twice and both times the attitude of the bartender irked me, with just okay food, and very expensive drinks given the lack of atmosphere and small size of the drinks. Meh. When I walk out with a $100 tab for 4 drinks and 2 entrees, I want to feel like "wow that was a great experience! I can't wait to try XXXX next time!" And we left saying "that bartender was strange. Just checked this place out for the first time with a friend, and have to say I was very impressed! It is a little hidden on Fleet Street if you are driving by but much easier to spot walking down the road. Once you enter the space is a lot more open than it looks from the front and has multiple levels (including a game room w/ NES downstairs)! Ordered a few of the small bites and a bunch of cocktails from the menu and was impressed with all of them. The bartender here was extremely friendly and offered a few different takes on drinks most people order, adding a really great Thai flair to them. I would recommend any of the specialty cocktails honestly and the curry was amazing as well. Will definitely be checking the place out again in the future! read more

I order takeout from here often and appreciate the convenience. Food is ready quick and they even have parking which can be rare in this area. However, I've definitely had better food for this price. I usually get the tofu drunken noodles dish (my go to at all Thai places) which is pretty good, but it is not my favorite. This restaurant is just okay to be honest. I was excited by all of the positive reviews here, but unfortunately I was a bit let down. The first time I came I ordered the pad see ew, which is my go to order at Thai restaurants. It was way sweeter than it normally is at other places, so I didn't really like it that much. The second time I got the drunken noodles. These aren't too bad and are a lot better than the pad see ew since it has a little bit of spice and isn't as sweet. I've also ordered the panang curry with tofu, which is not the best as well. In general, the food here is mediocre. I still order it when I'm craving thai food since it's the one closest to where I live, but every time I order food from here, I'm not completely satisfied either. read more

Place was fine and service was good, but the food was unimpressive. My partner and I ordered: Thai empanadas: overfried, the peas inside were cold (frozen?) was a lot like a samosa which was fine but it was a bit dry and could've used a sauce or something to cut its dryness. Tofu drunken noodles: tofu was *cold*, noodles were hot and tasted fine but there weren't many noodles, nor tofu actually, mostly hot peppers. I love spicy food so that was fine. If you don't like spicy food this dish could hurt. Order it without heat. Panang curry w tofu: nothing to write home about, and smaller than anticipated. Not enough veggies, at most two broccoli pieces and a vast, near-empty landscape of thinned out curry sauce and a small mound of rice. Mango sticky rice dessert: small, overpriced, forgettable. The chicken pad Thai was a huge portion which can always be risky when taking out. I thought it would not be so great the next day but it was just as good as getting it fresh. How many times have you ordered pad thai and been disappointed!? Not at Mayuree - this is hands down the best pad Thai I've ever eaten. The consistency of the noodles is chewy (in a GOOD nay GREAT way), the sauce carries the right amount of heat and none of the artificial flavor that comes with your run of the mill pad Thais at other restaurants. Although I still really miss the Gecko days its replacement with Muyuree makes it a even swap. They maintained the cool and casual atmosphere and instead of Tex Mex it's now tai. The drunken noodles are great and the pad Tai is my favorite due to a light sauce that leaves the flavors coming thru. Some sauces are just too heavy at other places. It doesn't deliver that well though as it's hot and continues to cook when in-route but that's all hot noodle dishes. They even have a few parking spots. Spring rolls are good but not amazing. I am really at a 4.5 star and hoping to make it to 5 with continued good experiences and trying more menu items. read more
