Ordered DoorDash from here for the first time. The food seemed cheap and not great quality. The portions were small. The Greek salad was barely able to be considered a Greek salad. The salad was just a little larger than the dressing container. The falafel wasn't good at all. Very disappointed. If you'll notice, all the great reviews were from many years ago. Something obviously has changed.

Levant cuisine, skillfully, prepared and pleasantly presented are what you'll find at Mazah Mediterranean Eatery. I have posted shots of the menu for review. food is available for dining in or can be ordered and picked up to take home. It is delicious and the staff take great pride in creating and serving it. Having tried other area restaurants that serve similar cuisine, I feel confident when I say that Mazah is easily in the top tier of area restaurants which serve this style of food. it is possible to call ahead for reservations, though I have not had great difficulty in being seated without them.

This was my first time at Mazah and it turned out to be a wonderful and pleasant experience. I emailed for reservations and we were seated right away. Two very young girls, one in training took our order. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Bread and Baba chanoush. My entree was the lamb skewers. It came with plenty of yellow rice. This place has been in business over 10 years for a reason. Wonderful staff, great location, amazing food. I'm highly recommending Matzah for a great night out

This is my third year in a row coming to Mazah Mediterranean Eatery for 614 Restaurant Week, and they hands down have the best deals--honestly, even beyond restaurant week. Every time, they serve the most beautiful, FULL plates of food with some of the best-tasting Mediterranean dishes I've ever had. As a vegan, it can be tough to find restaurants that are truly accommodating, but Mazah makes it effortless. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and takes such great care of you, no matter your dietary restrictions. They are genuinely the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever experienced at any local restaurant in Columbus. Being family-run, dining here truly feels like you're part of their family. You can tell how much pride and care they put into ensuring every guest has an amazing experience. I truly couldn't recommend Mazah more to everyone--this place is an absolute gem!

Make reservations however we did come during restaurant week. Our server was excellent. They also had light music playing. If you read my reviews I don't like loud music or music that doesn't match what I'm eating. Meaning I don't want to go to an Asian spot and hear RunDmc. Well they did it right. The food was good. It didn't have the bold flavors that I'm accustomed to when eating this style of food. However our server layali saved the day. She was very knowledgeable of the menu. The lentil soup was ok and it was not hot. The chicken had good flavor and was very mosit. The hot sauce was flavorable but not spicy The place is nice. They have a small waiting area and parking can be difficult. The food wasn't memorable but Layalis service was. The was just ok because it didn't have the bold flavors we are used too.

Small Sampler with Chicken, Side of Falafel, and Grilled Lamb Salad

Mazah looked promising from what I had read online but both service and food were just only OK. We asked to be seated on the covered patio since it felt nice outside on a May Thursday night. It was a cute little area. Two of us had just landed from a flight so we wanted a Dirty Martini. Their Dirty Martini was made with a local Ohio OYO vodka and kalamata olives. When they arrived, they didn't look that appetizing and only came with three olives each even though we asked for extra olives. The kalamata olive brine gave the martini an odd flavor but there was no vodka taste at all in the martini. One could say maybe it means it was really smooth but that's not what we thought. I ordered the Small Sampler with Chicken plus a side of Falafel. Another person in my party ordered the same Small Sampler but vegetarian with Falafel plus a Spinach Triangle. Even though my friend said he wanted it vegetarian, the server still asked if he wanted Chicken so that of course led him to ask questions again to make sure there would not be any meat on his plate. The third person ordered well done Lamb over Salad. Everything looked good at first and I was excited to dig in but we weren't given silverware so one of the guys went to grab roll ups for us. The Chicken and Rice in my Sampler Platter wasn't hot in temperature, the Spinach Triangle was cold to touch, and the Lamb was not well done as requested. The guys sent back their Spinach Triangle and Lamb Skewers. I was hungry so I just ate my food as is. The server was very apologetic and later, someone else brought the food back and let us know they don't microwave their food. That's fine but I'm not sure why she told us that because we hadn't complained about the food being microwaved. The Babaganoush wasn't like any I've ever had before. It was very creamy and didn't taste like grilled eggplant. The Hummus was a tad too creamy for my liking. I did enjoy the Cabbage Salad and the pickled veggies that came with the side of Falafel. The Chicken and Rice lacked flavor and the Falafel was ok. My friend didn't like his Lamb at all and the other guy didn't care for his Sampler Platter. We didn't care for the place.

I came here for Lebanese night, which happens on the first Monday of the month. They have a special menu of traditional Lebanese dishes and our server was great at explaining the offerings and providing recommendations. We ended up over ordering, no surprise, and got kibbeh two ways (raw and baked), a chicken meat pie, and a soup. All were delicious and were a great mix of textures and flavors. The raw kibbeh had a nice texture and much different from beef tartare, which has more of a bite, the kibbeh was smoother as its a finely chopped/ground meat. I wasn't actually sure how to eat it so I took bites mixed with the various veggies and stuff provided, either way it was delicious. The stew was also very homey and satisfying, it tasted like a really good chicken noodle soup. Definitely recommend Mazah for their Lebanese night and after experiencing it, I'm excited to return for their regular offerings!

I went here a couple months ago with my mom for restaurant week and had an amazing experience. We went around 5 and were seated immediately. Our server was so helpful and nice. The restaurant was decorated nice on the inside and had a little out door area that looked so pretty and cozy. I ordered the chicken kebob entree with a salad, pita and babaganoush. My mom got the chicken shawarma entree and everything was delicious. One thing I noticed was that the feta tasted so fresh. It was the best feta I ever tasted. I had an amazing experience and will definitely come back!

We started with the loaded fries, and they were hot, fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious! They had warm queso cheese, tempeh bacon crumbles, green onions, and a really delicious ranch dressing all throughout. Everything about them was just perfect! Then we shared the State Breakfast, we chose the seasonal strawberry shortcake pancakes with seitan sausage and crispy hash browns. The strawberry shortcake pancakes were to die for! They tasted like the best strawberry shortcake and the best thick fluffy pancakes combined into one amazing dish. We've never tried anything better! And the pizza? Forget about it! We ordered the large stuffed-crust veggie pizza, and it was crazy good. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was seriously a pizza that dreams are made of! Everything we ate was incredible, and it was honestly hard to pick a favorite. Our waitress, Abi, was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly, attentive, and happy to answer all of our questions. She really helped make our experience even more enjoyable. At the end of our meal, we picked up some pastries to take home and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. Abi surprised us by giving us a free cupcake, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture! The atmosphere was fantastic, the music was really cool, and even the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. You can tell there is a lot of care put into this restaurant and the experience they provide. We had such a wonderful time and left already talking about when we can come back. Thank you, Fourth & State and Abi, for making our anniversary celebration so special! We absolutely can't wait to return!

I eventually got annoyed and went up there and asked him what happened to my order and I guess they misplaced it or something I don't know, but eventually, my food came out I hope because it took so long it would actually be toasted to Golden, but I actually had to take the cream cheese off and see if they toasted it at all. It definitely wasn't toasted golden and again definitely not extra cream cheese. We started with a Hot Apple Cider, topped with maple-infused whipped cream and cinnamon, along with a couple of hot coffees. The cider was warm, comforting, and full of cozy fall flavors. Unfortunately, the self-serve coffee station wasn't kept stocked, and after waiting quite a while for a refill, we eventually gave up. For breakfast, we ordered two Mushroom Frittatas, a Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, and a side of Housemade Breakfast Sausage. The Mushroom Frittata featured three hearth-baked eggs with roasted mushrooms, sweet onions, and Gruyère cheese, served alongside breakfast potatoes and a peppery arugula salad. It was flavorful, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Although I informed the staff about my peanut allergy, I was surprised to find the crispy breakfast potatoes on my plate, which left me uncertain whether the allergy request had been fully communicated to the kitchen. The Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, served with strawberry preserves, was one of the highlights of the meal. It was flaky, buttery, and wonderfully moist, pairing perfectly with the sweet preserves. The Housemade Breakfast Sausage consisted of two peppery pork patties that were juicy and well-seasoned, making a great accompaniment to the rest of the meal. Overall, we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While I wish the coffee station had been monitored more closely and that greater care had been taken regarding my food allergy, the Mushroom Frittata and fresh biscuit alone make Northstar Café worth returning to.

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... They aren't doing anything revolutionary here Atmosphere: 7/10 - definitely a nice spot. It's very clean bathrooms are intimate and also very clean again. Nothing revolutionary here the demographic when we went was very old and corporate. Price: 5/10 - $340 plus idk... I feel like this was worth $180-$220 personally for the price I never complain about price anywhere I go out to eat, especially fine dining, but this place was overcharging for what they're actually giving for sure. Overall: 6.5/10 - I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't really care about Food that much and is wowed by like an STK or a more chain like "fancy restaurant" I was hoping to get more of a small boutique very intentional experience at this restaurant just based on the outside by the field, but it definitely feels like they've cut a few corners when it comes to building a really unique food experience I would love to come back and give it another try because maybe I just came at an off time. Majority of people will give us an eight out of 10 rating. My girlfriends take on the restaurant Brussels Sprouts: 9/10 Lamb chops: 8/10 The Clover Club: 8/10 Filet: 6.5/10 Sea Bass: 1/10 Hamachi Crudo: 2/10 Menu: 4/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Price: 3/10
