I don't think they have Method or Fuel, or Black Rhino. They have a different business model because they buy in bulk and get competitive pricing that way. They also staff lean so they save labor costs. It's definitely a no frills experience. But they try not to use spacers and adapters. I like that. They also mostly carry cheaper brand tires, like Lexani and Lionhart. The tires are acceptable in performance. I'm kind of a tire snob. So far these are good. As I sit on hold now for 10 minutes (literally) while some completely useless and braindead moron left me there, we'll go back to the beginning. I called up to inquire if they had a particular wheel. I gave him the color, the fitment, the model number and the vehicle it was for..this IQ giant replies, "you didnt give me enough information", I cant just go by 3 numbers. First off, I gave him 4 numbers..spoken as a word, as in Twelve Forty One. Next, he asks me if I can hold. I suspect he's going to go try and count how many wheels are on a car. It's now been 12 minutes. I can hear him just talking in the background. Let's see how long we can tie up their phones, Ive set mine on speakerphone and just set it down. He's clearly struggling with figuring out how many wheels go on a car. This should tell you what you can expect from this place. (edit: After 17 minutes he came back and just hung up the phone. Now he's not answering on a call back. I called back again and finally got someone to answer, I told them my opinion of their business and hung up.) Avoid this place at all costs, there's a reason most of the reviews are one star. Take the time to read them, they all say the same thing. 12-23-2010: Took my car here to put OEM wheels back on for winter. Every one was cool at first until one of the mechanics, drove my car into the wall while trying to align it on the rack. He tried to cover it up but i ran over to the front to find my bumper in the wall. The mechanic told me oh I just need to back up a bit Then the mechanic said "I am sorry it's just a little dent". The sales man said dont worry you cant even see it, he did not hit that hard. only one guy who was also a mechanic showed some type of professionalism and said not to pay for the charge to swap the wheels. Which doesn't even come close to the paint chips my car now has in the front. PleaseWATCH YOUR CAR!!! these guys are careless. Damaged my Carbon Fiber Lip and scuffed my front bumper. This was at the Mazz Auto Sports at 9023 Garvey. I will never come back here and will not recommend them. Total lack of responsibility and negligence. read more

Pros:The guys here are really friendly and work hard for your business. The owner calls you "Boss" a lot and will offer you a beer. Cons: Everything else. I came here to check out a set of used factory wheels listed on craigslist and I ended up buying a brand new set of larger wheels and tires for my car. Went from 18" to 19" and a bit wider too. I told him straight up, I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH ANY RUBBING OR FITMENT ISSUES. But that's exactly what happened. The front tires rub on the inner plastic fender liner when turning. The rears rubbed the body over any bumps. I shaved my fender a bit and it helps, but still rubs over big bumps or hard cornering. This is exactly what I didn't want to have to bother with. And the tires aren't even balanced all the way, I have a slight shake. Oh, and the tires don't even fit on the wheels well, the wheels stick out about 1/8 - 1/4" further than the tire. Despite his many claims of "Don't worry Boss, it will fit perfect." it doesn't and I am definitely not satisfied. Also, it took forever to get the wheels and tires ready, he had to drive somewhere else to get the wheels drilled. He also didn't have the hubcentric rings in stock, so I had to order those online and mess around with putting them on later. Unless you know the exact size wheel/tire combo you want do not leave it in his hands, he'll sell you whatever he has lying around and say it works. Either that or he doesn't know what he's doing, there's no other explanation other than one of those two. read more

My car had been making noises whenever I hit the brake, but I couldn't find the source of that noise. I brought them to so many mechanics and no resolutions, it's still making noises whenever it wanted to. I already almost gave up when I pulled into this mechanic that my friend recommended. By gosh, they found the problem in the mounting of the engine, could you believe that? All this time I was driving with my engine not mounted correctly so it kept clashing with the screw whenever I hit a dip or break, the engine moved and produced the noises. I finally felt the relieved that it's not something I need to change at all, just need to fix the mountings and now my car's engine still looked nice compare to the customer who had the same car as mine and still smooth... thanks to this mechanic, woohoo!!! read more

These guys are aweful! They did a transmission rebuild on my car and I had to take it back to them FIVE TIMES because the transmission kept failing. They never got it right but the last time I brought my car in, their mechanics took a joyride in my car. They tried to put the convertible top down and broke it. Then then left the top down while they kept my car for FIVE WEEKS. When I went to pick it up, there were greasy racoon paw prints all over my interior, greasy handprints on the body and interior and a layer of dust over the whole car, inside and out. I was furious. I requested $250 for damages to the top and for a detail job. They blew me off and never returned my letters. (I didn't try to call because they don't speak English well and that was causing more frustration.) I finally had to take them to court. I demanded money for ALL damages ($4,700), including cosmetic damages to the convertible top. They didn't show up at court so I won the judgement. They eventually paid me in installments. It was a long, drawn-out ordeal and not worth the hassle! read more

I needed new rims and tires and these guys offered a really great price. A couple months later I noticed there was some abrasion of my tire on the wheel well. Even after 2 months they said to come back and they'll fix it. When I showed up Ethan took me right away. He easily diagnosed the problem and without any additional money he repaired the problem and replaced the damaged tire free of charge. I did not expect that but was really pleased! I have to give a shout-out to the owner of Mazz. I took my car in to replace my rear brakes with over a 100K miles on them. I can hear them squeak for the past 2 weeks. I told the owner of Mazz to replace the rear brakes, and off I was to Vietnam Restaurant (1/2 block away) for lunch. Within 20 mins, I got a call from Mazz telling me my brake pad did not need replacing, it still had 70% life on them. He said they just cleaned and adjusted the brakes, and the cost was $20. The first thing that came to my mind, was that this place is HONEST. It is really tough to find a honest mechanic. I highly recommend Mazz. read more

I wasn't sure at first whether I should bring my car to this shop because of the limited number of reviews on Yelp and at least one negative one. But I decided to give this shop a chance since they have been in business for well over 10 yrs and their website suggests that they specialize in aftermarket installations. All I needed was for them to perform the labor to install lowering springs and spacers on my Audi. I called them first, and they were obviously familiar with doing this kind of work and their price was very reasonable. I just had my springs and spacers installed last week and I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and work that they performed on my car! I met the owner, Ethan, who was very friendly and very enthusiastic about doing the work on my car. He had his guys immediately start working on my car. The price was a bit more than quoted because he didn't realize that my car was an Audi, but Ethan informed me of this before I allowed them to do the work. The price was still reasonable. Ethan told me that the work would take 4-5 hrs. 4 1/2 hrs later they called me that my car was ready. When I arrived to pick up my car, Ethan encouraged me to drive the car to make sure everything was okay. He even showed me new Audi wheels that had just come in that he thought might improve the look of my car and told me he could modify my car to fit them, but he never pressured me to do anything. All in all, I was quite pleased with the work that this shop did and will definitely come here again if I need further work on my car. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the San Gabriel Valley who needs work done on their car, particularly aftermarket modifications and installations! read more
