I love coming here for lunch when I'm dieting! Their chef salad to go is huge! I order in the app and the food comes pretty quickly! I think it's a great place to come and work as well! Their tortilla soup is very tasty and I think the employees are very nice and patient! I recommend 100% for lunch!

    Half & half

I walked in thinking this was a typical restaurant bar place because of the name. But it was a salad sandwich place. Very clean and bright. And even though there was only one family there at the time I walked in to look at the menu which was enticing. I got the half salad half sandwich offer and the food was great. Fresh salad and good turkey sandwich !

I only have tried their club sandwich. Not bad but nothing to write home about. However, I am in love with their peach lemonade. So good.

As always great food, feels good not eating fast food junk. Seems better for you and it's quick service and hot food.

Delicious food, and very filling. Clean and over all friendly service. Love the chicken salad on the croissant.

The Miso dressing on the salad was bright and lip-smacking good. The rest of the salad was well-balanced. We liked the food so much we got cookies too and gobbled them before we left. Rock salt on the top of the chocolate chip was a well received reset to enjoy the melted chocolate. The cinnamon had that molasses flavor that deepens the sweet. The people are super friendly too. The husband-and-wife team behind Grist has created one of the most inventive pasta menus you'll find anywhere. It's casual--you order at the counter--but don't mistake that for ordinary dining. We started with the rosemary Parmesan focaccia and the cow's milk burrata. Both were excellent. The focaccia was simple, fresh, and perfectly executed, while the burrata was an absolute standout. For our entrées, we had the Mafalda al Agnello, Raviolo al'Uovo, Spring Pea Agnolotti, and Tonnarelli di Mare. Every pasta was handmade and beautifully prepared. The Mafalda stole the show, with wide, ruffled ribbons coated in an incredible braised lamb sauce. The Raviolo al'Uovo was unlike anything I've had before--a single oversized raviolo with remarkable flavor and a presentation that was as memorable as it was delicious. Grist is proof that great dining doesn't require white tablecloths. It simply requires talented people making exceptional food. We couldn't recommend it more.

First impression? It definitely gives off biker bar vibes from the outside, but once you step inside, it's way more welcoming and laid back than you'd expect. Good atmosphere, friendly people, and the kind of place that feels like a hidden local favorite. I ordered the Biker Burger, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with great taste in every bite. You can tell they care more about making good food than trying to be fancy. If you're making the trip to Buc-ee's and want something local instead of chain fast food, Rip Rap Roadhouse is definitely worth the stop. Great burger, cool atmosphere, and one of those places you're happy you discovered by accident.

Classic tavern setting but great outside deck & patio. Room for live music and both bar & restaurant seating. Service is casual and friendly but efficient and smooth. Food is casual but barbecue and smoked wings are where it is at! Homemade kettle chips are good & the onion rings are real & crunchy! Beer is cold & plentiful, and the bar is stocked. When I am going from west to east or north to south, this and the Buckhorn Tavern are my two must haves! Highly recommend!
