Stopped in for lunch since I haven't been here in a while. I ordered the jalapeño turkey crunch, and it is still so good. Soft foccacia jalapeño bread with bacon and turkey and chips yum. If you're like me, you like a little crunch, and adding chips to a sandwich is a staple. Gives it extra pizazz . The restaurant was a little untidy heoebrr it ended the lunch rush. Also, they had 3 screens out, which have the menu items. I know I haven't been in a while, but it was weird eating in complete silence. Although I can't recall, If they used to have music playing or not. I believe they should.

Awful soggy rotten lettuce that they refuse to refund me for because I used Uber eats the "manager" said he checked it beware they serve rotten food and then deny it!

All food items including drinks and desserts are reasonably priced. Choose 2 is my favorite by which you can get the best of both worlds, whatever your world can be salad, sandwich, or spud.

The Savannah Chopped salad has been in a chokehold. Its reasonably priced and hearty! 10/10 I've had one for the last 4 weeks in a row. Where have you been all my life?

First time visit, I choose curbside pickup option. The hot sandwiches were cold and the soups were almost warm. However, the most disappointing part my order was the thrown together, untoasted, unrecognizable King Club sandwich. I will not be returning.

Skimpy. Very little meat on 3 out of 4 pieces of my sandwich. Slightly disappointed. I would still consider going here though, but maybe just order something else.

Went in and placed an order to go seeing as I had a "buy one, get one free sandwich" offer on the McAlister's app. When it was time to pay, the server said the coupon wasn't valid and that the MOD said it expired in 11/03/2020. I looked at the coupon and it states it expires on 11/17/2020 but management wouldn't honor.

Great location! Great food! Lots of choices! My favorites are the chicken and dumpling soup and the BLT but there's lots of other great options. You can't really go wrong. The staff are really friendly as well. Sweet Tea Rating: 8/10 The sweet tea has a great reputation and it is good. I'd say it needs a little more sweetness but it is good.

Elite Week at Portillo's!…read more Stopped by Portillo's in Katy for Elite Week, and of course we had to see what the hype was about! We went with the burgers, fries, and Dr Pepper floats. Baby, that burger was GOOD! It had that delicious flame-broiled flavor that I love, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Hot, crispy, and exactly how fries are supposed to be! Now...the Dr Pepper float? It didn't quite do it for me. It was way too thick, even after we asked for it to be made a little looser, and it was also much sweeter than I expected. I love a sweet treat, but this one was a little too sweet for me. But the burger and fries definitely saved the day! I'll absolutely be back because there are several other things on the menu I want to try. Burger: Fries: Dr Pepper Float: Not for me! Overall, a good first visit, and I'm looking forward to round two!

We ordered a hotdog, polish sausage, Italian beef sandwich, french fries, queso, dr. Pepper shake. The hotdog, polish sausage, french fries, and queso were really good. They pushed the Dr Pepper shake on me (I really wanted the chocolate cake shake). I took three sips of the shake because I really wanted to like it (I like Dr Pepper and I like ice cream) but I didn't want to torture myself so I threw it away. The tables were a tad greasy but the restrooms were clean. I would come back for the hotdog and Polish Sausage!!!!

Being from San Diego we know good carne asada and TJ-style tacos/burritos...and Tacos Frontera is…read morewhere it's at!! While visiting family in Houston we were excited to come across a "real" Mexican (as opposed to Tex-Mex...iykyk) taco shop. As soon as you walk in and see the Tijuana and Baja Mexico signs and decor you know you're in the right place. There's an open kitchen, allowing you to watch your carne being grilled on the open-flame grill. That charged meat smell is heavenly! Their guac is chunky and simple (nothing too fancy), hot sauces are tasty (and they have a kick!), tortillas are thin but strong -- holding the goods in just right. It's also nice that they have complimentary tasty, crispy pork rinds -- as opposed to the standard chips & salsa. Portions are ample! They definitely don't skimp -- tons of meat and guac in their tacos and huge, meaty burritos! Prices are fair, especially for what you get! Their dining room is a tad small, but it's very clean and the a/c is good...there's also a nice patio outside. Service was swift and friendly. Food was good. A/C was poppin'. Parking was plentiful. All in all I have to admit that Tacos Frontera comes as close to good San Diego Mexican food as you can get...they would definitely be able to hold their own in San Diego!

The food is absolutely phenomenal. It tastes authentic, freshly made, and just honestly addicting…read more My entire family love to come here and for a good reason. The price to food ratio is beyond reasonable, especially when put up against fast food restaurants (or just many restaurants for that matter) and can serve as a second or even third meal (assuming you don't get lost in the flavor) The staff have always been nice, so no complaints there The only complaint is that it can take a while for your order to be made, especially at peak times. Dining in is hard due to the lack of available seating (all first come, first serve), parking is very limited and you may need to park on the other side of the shopping complex. Last I ordered, there doesn't seem to be a clear way to order ahead Regardless, we still come here often and always have enjoyed the food

I especially love their Signature Garlic Herb bread. It's toasted perfectly where the outside has a slight crisp around the edges and the inside is soft and fluffy. It's really GOOD bread. I definitely prefer it over the likes of something like Subway, Jersey Mike's, etc. It's nice that they offer different sizes of sandwiches. There's the Nug (4"), Pinner (8"), and the largest size is the Blunt (12"). I ordered the Nug. It's just the right size to satisfy my appetite without leaving me feeling heavy afterward. I also love and truly appreciate the diverse vegetarian options on the menu. They're not just the basic boring raw veggies combinations either. It's super casual and laid back inside. Love their fun decorations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a bar in the back with a large TV, allowing you to enjoy sports while sipping on a cold beer or cocktail. Glad they are in the area. For sure I will be a regular here. Just thinking about their bread makes me hungry.

I must say, although the customer service was great, the sub didn't really taste like anything. It was flavorless. This is the second time it's happened. But it's all good. I was still able to finish it. I'll still come back and maybe try something different next time.

Different Kinds of Cheesesteaks--This One Deserves Its Own Lane…read more I think people really need to acknowledge that there are different types of cheesesteaks. Not all of them are made to be compared--some are just totally different styles, and that's not a bad thing. I've been wanting to try this spot for a while after seeing the debates about who has the best cheesesteak in Houston. The only thing that held me back was the location. I finally made the trip--and I'm glad I did. First off: customer service. Let's be real--food trucks sometimes don't deliver on this, but that was not the case here. Super friendly and attentive. It made a big difference. What I tried: * Chicken cheesesteak with shrimp - Delicious. Messy, cheesy, and indulgent. If you're someone who likes your cheesesteaks loaded with toppings like lettuce or tomato, this might not be your thing. But if you're into a bold, no-frills kind of sub? You'll love it. * Philly steak eggroll - Fire. * Fries - These were wild. Battered like fried chicken, perfectly crispy. I might honestly come back just for the fries. * Corned beef - Served Midwest-style, and the meat was on point. Tender and flavorful. Bottom line: I really enjoyed this place. It's not trying to be like everyone else--and that's exactly why it works. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd absolutely return.
