This McDonald's treated me EXTREMELY RUDELY and very unprofessional. I ordered large fries and a Diet Pepsi through the drive through. When I tried to pay for the meal, a manager told me that he wouldn't serve me because allegedly I called a minor female employee a "c" word. Please note that I am a 64 year old woman who doesn't swear. The corporate office in Silverdale won't even make them apologize AND told me that if I complain again, they will ban me from the restaurant. read more

This location is near my job, and I have stopped it at convenient times. I don't eat meat, so my only real options are french fries and the hash brown in the morning. It is decent, consistent food for a fast food chain. I never have a problem with wait time or quality of food. My order is always right, and I am satisfied. I don't expect anything other than McDonald's, and at this location it is consistently good. That being said - c'mon McDonalds! No veggie burger? It is 2016! Burger King has a veggie burger. I would be a frequent customer if they had more veggie options, and I think that would help a fast food chain like this on Bainbridge Island. read more

If you want to know what a Value Meal is NOT, go to this McDonald's. In town on business, I wanted something quick after arriving. I was shocked to hear the price of a medium Value Meal was almost $12. I thought they had double charged or overcharged me for something. I checked prices in downtown Seattle and they were much less for the same meal. I called the franchise owners who have yet to return my call. I asked my hotel if they were considered fine dining and their response was, ever since they completed their remodel the prices went up. This to me sounds like poor management from a franchise. Since I've still yet to hear from them, I reached out to the city to file a price gouging complaint and to McDonald's corporate. Needless to say I happily paid more for meals the rest of my stay than to support a greedy corporate/franchise fast food establishment. So my recommendation, gladly support local family owned eateries and send a message to corporate greed and gouging. read more

Ever since the new renovations the new wait time is longer with 2 ordering boards then it was with one. I am sitting in the McDonald's line as I type this. That is how long it takes for them to get your order out. I sat at ordering board number 1 and waited while they took three other orders on ordering board 2. A few days ago I was at ordering board 2 and no one was at ordering board 1 and they were trying to speak to me through ordering board 1. I need to find another breakfast option. read more

Received the most hostile and degrading customer service from Justin, the GM of the Bainbridge Island McDonald's, after a recent order mishap. We don't often go to this location, due to years of similar order mistakes or missing items, but we were in a time constraint with limited options. After having several issues with my order, I contacted the location to seek a resolution and was met with extreme hostility and unethical treatment from their manager, who spewed profanities and insults to me over the phone and hung up on my husband and me multiple times. The level of inappropriateness throughout my interactions was astonishing. This location operates under the belief that they can treat patrons with extreme disrespect and have zero value for their business. We have no other options for fast food on our island, and this is clearly used to the advantage of employees who see this type of treatment as acceptable. read more

Probably one if the worse McDonald's I've been in as customer service goes. Yes it was noisy due to construction, but when you get cold food and they just ignore you, that is just wrong. I was greeted as soon as I entered and placed my order. Ordered and paid for a 1/4 pounder deluxe and got a regular 1/4 pounder. Receipt even said 1/4 pounder deluxe. Fries were cold and hard. Took the tray back to the counter and they said they would fix it. Returned the tray to me a few minutes later with the same thing! Cold fries and a regular 1/4 pounder. Three staff members inside unwilling to even acknowledge customers. At least 7 cars attempted drive thru while we waited for the employees to acknowledge us. The second time I've had my order missed, this time I asked for customization to the meal and it was nonexistent. A drop of an extra sauce on burgers. ALWAYS SCREWS UP DRIVE-THRU ORDERS, MACHINES ALWAYS BROKE!!! This McDonald's is LITERALLY the worst run McDonald's that I have patronized. They constantly (as in about (75% of the time) are screwing up your order in the Drive-Thru. It is REALLY frustrating to get home and realize they forgot to put something in or gave you the wrong order. Bainbridge Island is a pretty easy place to predict the customer flow. IT FOLLOWS THE FERRY TRAFFIC. Almost every single time I pick up breakfast at this McDonald's, I have to wait for them to cook more hash browns. Why is it so difficult to have enough hash browns ready for breakfast???? Another SERIOUS issue is there ALWAYS seems to be at least one machine not working. And when it needs repair, it is down for two weeks. How can you run a business when you take two solid weeks to get your equipment fixed. Your equipment is what you use to create income. This isn't a one time occurrence either. This happens VERY OFTEN. In fact when I called the main office the person answering the phone acknowledged that they have heard about this complaint a lot. I think the equipment issue is out of the control of the local store manager. I was told by one of the employee's that there is only one maintenance person for all 12 locations that Brian owns. BRIAN, GET OFF YOUR BUTT and at least hire another maintenance person that is on call. They don't even have to be full time, just a backup person you can call when the other person is swamped. On the plus side, most of the employee's really try to do a good job with the resources they have to work with. I don't want Brian or any other big wig getting pissed of at the employee's, The Drive-Thru order accuracy can be fixed if the employee's get the proper training and supervision. The same goes for running out of food and making customers wait. The employee's that I see there are friendly and really want to please the customers. THIS IS CLEARLY AN UPPER MANAGEMENT ISSUE!!!! The reality is that most residents on the Island would rather not have the McDonald's or any other big franchise for that matter. The menu "SUCKS POND WATER THROUGH A DONKEY'S AZZ"!!!! And yes, they are sawdust burgers. I do have to thank them for sponsoring fund raisers, that is a great gesture to the community. read more

I've been at this location for years and this past month it just takes the turn to worst! Order Nuggets meal for my kid and they forgot French fried. We already left so we didn't turn back. A week later went back order the same thing, they gave us this old fried soft and looked really bad that my kid wouldn't even eat. We said we weren't going back there again and today I gave it a chance. I went back for crispy chicken burger and the lettuce they put on my burger looks like a week or two old.
