I came at approximately 12:15pm on August 25, 2026 at this location, I ordered lunch. I wanted a unsweetened tea with my meal but could not locate that item on the kiosk so, I ordered a sweet Tea with hopes of swapping it out at the counter. I did not receive a receipt at the Kiosk as well. I told the lady in the green shirt at the counter and she told me, and I quote," too bad, you selected sweet so that what you get." I explained to her the situation and she told me again. " that what you ordered." I asked for the store location number and her name and she asked "Why?" I asked again and she refused. I find the drive-thru service here very efficient. I appreciate the $1 any sized coffee deal! I usually get the iced caramel coffee and it's pretty good here. Some other locations they're not well mixed - either too watered down or too much syrup. Not here! They are fairly consistent and the price, can't beat it. I recently had the McCrispy strips here and they were good with the chilli dipping sauce. My only issue with this location is getting into and out of the lot - busy and dangerous. read more

This McDonald's in Burtonsville is the worst! I just came from St Thomas USVI and the McDonald's down there was bad - dirty, unwelcoming but at least they got my order right and it was pretty quick considering I had low expectations when I walked in. This location though in Burtonsville, while fairly recently remodeled, is a very poor excuse for a restaurant. I stop by on occasion since it is convenient, with small simple orders via the app and 50% of the time my order is incorrect. Tonight, it's now a majority of the time. No line in the drive thru and I had a small order with no customizations and it's still wrong. Sometimes when you make customizations to your sandwich, it is the exact opposite of what you order. Extra Canadian bacon = no Canadian bacon. No mayonnaise = extra mayo. No ketchup = extra ketchup. Unsweet Tea = sweet tea. You get the idea. Heck, they even charge for lettuce when you request it and forget to put it on. Every one of those things has happened to an order I made in the past at this location and this location alone and like I said, not once , not twice not three times.....far more times than I I can count over the years. All I can say is good luck trying to call them on the phone number listed on the receipt. Their phone doesn't work. Contact corporate via email and all they say is that they train their staff to make orders correctly and apologized for the mistakes at this location, but please let them serve you again at the Golden Arches. This review is solely for how the manager treated us when we decided to eat there to tonight. We came in at 9:20 pm i know it is a bit late. But I believe they close at 10:00 pm since the rude manager didn't waste her time to remind us. She was very rude to us. I asked for my receipt since the arch didn't give me one. She said she will put it in the bag with the food. She DID NOT. Secondly she said i will put your food in the bag since we dont have trays anymore. So i asked can we still eat here because she seemed upset that we chose to dine in instead of Take out. She said you can but we close at 10:00 pm. To this point MY HUSBAND my very non confrontational husband got upset because the manager or worker has been so rude to me that He GOT up and showed the bag with NO Napkins in them. This McDonald's was recently rebuilt and remodeled. Burtonsville is probably one of the very last areas in Montgomery County to get a modern McDonald's. We came on Wednesday, 1/29/20 at 7 pm for carry out. The place was empty. We went to the counter to order, but was told to use the kiosk instead (there were 4 of them). The kiosk was not difficult to use if you pay with credit card and have no discount. Our wait time for our order was less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately one item in our order was incorrect, which we didn't know until we got home. The Southwest salad should have had crispy chicken instead of grilled chicken. It's okay about the mistake, nothing major! 8/3/20 Update - With COVID-19, there are some changes if you plan to go inside to order. The kiosks are closed because they are not 6 feet away for social distancing. The dining room is closed and roped off to prevent seating. You now order directly at the counter. Food is ready in 5 minutes since it was not crowded. Current deal for Big Macs, Quarter Pounders, and Fish Filet sandwiches is 2 for $6. read more

I'm a fan for one main reason: the consistently perfect fries. I don't know why, but this location always seems to make their french fries perfectly. Every single time (well, mostly). Granted, I haven't had many issues here overall; the food is usually very hot and delivered fast. I've had the occasional misfires, like nearly cold nuggets, incorrect special topping orders, that kind of thing. But, as McDonalds go, this one is typically spot on more consistently than others. I am so upset. After a long day at work sometimes you retreat to fast food restaurants to get the familiar, the items that you know you can count on. With screaming, hungry kids in the back of my and a LONG day at the office, the only thing I wanted was to get dinner and to go home. I ordered two large value meals and two happy meals. Why oh why did they forget my fries. I typically look in the bag, but when you hear from the person here is your complete order, you tend to take comfort in those words. OMG! My meal feels so incomplete without the fries, but I did not feel like driving 15 minutes from my house to tell them they forgot them. I hope this Mcdonalds gets shut down or completely restaffed to prevent idiots from working there. My dad placed an order on his app on his phone, prepaid, and asked my brother and I to go pick it up in the drive thru. We went and explained to the employee that we had placed and order on the app with a different phone and she acted like a dumbass who couldn't understand what I was saying so I had to explain and say my order like 10 times then she told me to pull up to the pick up window. I did that and the employee gave me food but I looked and it was the complete wrong order which I am not one to get mad about. I dont mind, just take it back and give me the correct order. That is not what happened though. After a couple minutes of sitting there, the lady opened the window again and I explained that this was the wrong order. Another employee came to the window and started going off on me with so much attitude and sass saying that I "needed to check my phone" and "this wasent my order" as she rolled her eyes and threw away the meal aggressively. I explained that it was prepaid and it was on a different phone (as I already had) and she continued with her attitude and telling me "this isnt the way it works. You need to check your phone." LIKE BRUH I ALREADY TOLD YOU I DONT HAVE IT. So then I left before I went off on this lady because I know how to control my emotions unlike this mcdonalds employee with hardly half a brain cell who needs to learn english. I went to get get some breakfast on my way home from work. I was looking at the menu and the lady asked what I wanted. I ordered the big breakfast hot cakes the the screen at the drive through was only showing that order and there menu didn't show so I could order additional items. I ask the lady if she could make it smaller she said she couldn't, that's how it shows. So I told her I needed to see the menu to order more. She then tells me I have to come into the restaurant because she couldn't remove the one order so I could see the entire menu. I told her I was tired, that's why I'm in drive through. She then says if I want the order or not else I should drive up.. I couldn't understand why she just couldn't cancel it so I could see the menu. The order has never completely taken up the entire screen when I come here, it's always to the left n down. She was pretty rude and you could tell she just didn't wasn't to remove the order. I went on Sunday night to Monday morning ( 04.30.2017 around 1:30am) at the Briggs Chaney 24hour location. I rotated 3 times around the restaurant with my car, honked the horn about 20 times, there were two people inside laughing, no one opened the window, no one spoke to me at the machine where they are supposed to take your order. Wasted about 30 minutes to drive to this location and rotate around, honk and wait, until I realize they are actually seeing me and just laughing inside, because they don`t want to work. And this people are getting paid but obviously closing the window at certain time when there is no manager around! I gave up and came to this location at Old Coumbia Pike. Not to mention wasting my time to drive to here, ordering a menu, not being asked what drink I want, the person is then quiet for 5 minutes, we are asking "hey my friend are you still there" and then giving the order again. We are already at the first window to pay, after it took about 10 minutes to take our order even though we were the only car there. And the guy says: we take only cash...WHAT IF WE DON`T have cash?? So stupid. On your window says you take credit cards. :X We are going at the second window to take our food. Young African guys is looking at me like he will kill me for coming to order food. I said thank you 6 times, I never heard this guy speaking: no hi, no buy, no nothing, not even one word came out of his mouth even though I said 5 times thank you and I said hi and have a good night, and I appreciate it and I don`t know what else.
