I tend to come here when I don't have a lunch from home. Today was one of those days. Now, I'll be honest, my order tends to be unique. I ordered a triple cheeseburger with extra cheese with only onions, pickles, and lettuce. I get my sandwich and there's no lettuce and no extra cheese. Getting my order wrong. The staff tend to be pretty decent to me while I come through the drive-thru. To be fair, I'm always nice when I talk to the staff, because I've been in their position and they treat me in kind. However, their grill staff tend to not get orders right unless you have no change to an item. The grill staff is always the problem. Please just fix this. I'm tired of getting half of my order right. I don't have time to go back and get it fixed. Update #1 Inept grill crew strike again! Apparently, they don't know the difference between triple and double. I ordered a triple and got a double. Quite possibly the rudest staff of any restaurant in the surrounding areas. When you attempt to speak in the mic at the drive thru and they cut you off. Not with a pleasant question- just interrupting and barking "is that all? is that all?" after each word I said. At first I thought it was a one-off issue, so I waited a few weeks and returned today- same problem. Also, if I have to pay $10+ for a breakfast burrito meal, I shouldn't have to remind you about sauces. I shouldn't be interrupted while I am in the middle of placing that simple order. Maybe PRETEND for 10 seconds you aren't a miserable person who hates their job. Just to have me and THREE other cars pull up and wait 10 minutes for our order??? For cold hashbrowns. Maybe ACT like my being a patron of your store isn't interrupting your day. Store 5956 has by far the most inpatient, rude employees who hate their job. If that ISN'T the case, perhaps consider the optics- because it sure does look that way. Also, your store is a depressing looking building. Gone are the days where McDonalds was a fun place- it looks like a sad DMV inside and out. Maybe that is why your employees all seem so unhappy. read more

I went to this Mcdonalds yesterday morning a quick stop before heading to work. I ordered a Steak egg and cheese bagel and a hashbrown there wasn't a line so I didn't think they could mess up my order. When I got on the highway and opened up the bag it was pies, no sandwich or hashbrown which were the only things I ordered. I called the restaurant to make them aware of their mistake, they asked if I could go back so they could fix it OfCourse I was unable to since I work 35 minutes from this McDonalds. I was back in the area in the evening so I stopped by to speak to a manager to see if I could get a refund or even credit as this the second time, I have had an issue at this location. Another employee came up and was translating for the manager. She was communicating to her employee in Spanish as if I did not understand what she was saying and wasn't communicating with me till I addressed her directly. How can you ask a customer if they have a receipt when your staff at the window aren't giving them or even offering it to the customers. I had my phone with a picture of what they gave me, call log of when I called and bank statement. I was trying to show her my bank statement with their address, time stamped of when I purchased and how much I spent, and she just kept going back and forth with me about how I should have brought back the pies, and how I need to call next time (which I called in as soon as I seen THEIR MISTAKE). I normally don't ever ask for refunds or even take the time to complain, but her demeanor was unprofessional and the back and forth was uncalled for when it was not my mistake. Took me 10 minutes to get my refund. Check your customers orders before just handing out any orders in the drive thru and you wouldn't have unhappy customers returning. I will never come back to this location. You have rude unprofessional people working here! read more

The McDonald's in this location is very nice. The staff members are very friendly when you walk in. The tables and bathrooms are always clean. The manager Nelson is very friendly, nice and funny. He is the best manager. Their food is always fresh, cooked and yummy. Their Big Breakfast is SO DELICIOUS! I would definitely recommend this McDonald's to anybody. read more

The audacity of the workers here astonishes me. I frequent this location and have had a few issues. I have been given wrong orders a few times, but that is not my purpose for this review. One of the most recent problems I've had has pushed me off the edge. I always order through the McDonalds app. When I order on there it gives me the opportunity to order up to 20 sauces. I ordered 17 BBQ sauces due to my love for their sauce, and was stunned to learn that I was only given 3. This lack of attention to detail or poor corporate detailing is a complete disgrace, and must be fixed. My older daughter had a doctor's appointment today and as a reward for both girls being good I promised to bring them to the McDonald's with the play place. :( They demolished the play place and put in some sedentary activities. We don't do fast food often and when I do use it for a reward I like to give them a physical activity to burn off all the junk food. The girls liked the new touch light table and the touch screen games but it lacked the physical element I was hoping for. I want them to run and play and they got none of that. The food was fine, McDonald's food is simply edible at any time, nothing special. The meal was put out quickly and I appreciate the short wait. The girl behind the counter was very nice, she even apologized for the destruction of the play place although I know she didn't do it and there was no need for her to apologize for that. There were also 2 employees mopping the floors when I got there. I love that it's clean but my suggestion is to make sure to do one section at a time. They had mopped an entire half of the dining room and made it impossible to get to the games my children were instantly drawn to without going over the slippery wet floor. We just pulled off the highway for a quick lunch while passing through... This McDonald's must have been renovated recently. The outside was well landscaped and the interior was clean & fresh. SO.... We ordered 2 orders of 4 piece nuggets and 1 order of medium fries. Waited for about 7 minutes for these - even the guys who ordered 20 piece and 10 piece after us got their order first. This review is ONLY for the new lobster roll offering. I just happened to buy one at this location. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by McDonalds new lobster roll. Is it better than those put out by the local clam & seafood shacks? No. But for $7.99 it surprisingly came as advertised. It did indeed have a good amount of lobster meat lightly, and I mean lightly, tossed in mayo. This is a good thing because I dislike mayo and was expecting the thing to be drowned in it. But not this time. Add some lettuce and a nicely toasted sub bun to the puzzle and you have a surprising fast food winner. With this simple presentation it may very well become a permanent menu fixture. For an extra $3.00 you can add fries and a drink to make it a nice little meal. This lobster roll won't win any awards, but I think you'll find that, in a pinch, it works pretty well. These days, McDonalds needs all the culinary victories it can garner. read more

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I asked for a Chicken wrap with all the details about chicken, and making double sure that I get only what I want. Received Bacon wrap instead of chicken. If I eat Bacon, I just throw up. Went out after a long day to just hang out, but the things turned out bad. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went through the drive-through the other day and they messed up our entire order. Asked for a mighty kids meal double cheeseburger and the girl had no idea How to do that. I got to my destination and opened my bag and there was a single cheeseburger and in a box by itself was a hamburger patty. Seriously? I went back about an hour later after I was done at my destination and I told the girl at the drive-through what had happened. She called a manager over who couldn't have been more rude if she tried. I asked the girl what exactly happened because nobody said anything to me and she said oh we're giving you your order again but this time it will be correct. I said I have a whole bag of food sitting here (and I lifted up the bag and showed her), why would I want more when we didn't even eat this? Just give me my money back. She said I need the manager again, so she calls the manager and says can you come here please and the manager flat out said no. She said you can't come back to the window? The manager said no. Again. I know it's McDonald's and I shouldn't expect rocket science but how hard is it to put together a happy meal? McDonald's needs to think about hiring managers that actually want to manage and know how to deal with customers.
