Had to ask for a table to be cleaned. What is with these places never cleaning tables and floors?

The quality of both the food and service at this McDonald's varies a lot depending on the time of day. Mornings are consistently the best--orders come out hot, fresh, and quickly, and the staff keeps everything moving efficiently. Afternoons, especially after 6:00 p.m., are a very different experience. The line often backs up, service slows down significantly, and the food tends to arrive cold. I've waited more than 30 minutes on several visits, and using the mobile app doesn't seem to speed things up. Overall, this location is great in the mornings but frustrating later in the day. I'd recommend stopping by early if you're looking for a smoother experience. read more

I rarely ever review fast food places. They are hit & miss at best. However, we have been in the area for a month & have attempted to eat at this McDonald's several times. The employees are inept at best. Tonight we left before ordering, because there were 5 other families there waiting on their orders. We spoke to one customer who stated he was waiting more than 20 minutes for his order. The 'manager' (young man) left when we got there and said "Good Luck Guys" & chuckled as he left. We could see several employees just standing around chatting. The dining area was filthy. Very disappointing when this is one of about 4 fast food places in town. read more

The food is always made as ordered, delivered quickly, and always with a smile. There seems to be a professionalism at this McDonald's that is above any others I have encountered. read more

Less than a minute after I ordered my Large delicious McDonald's Iced Coffee, it was already at the pickup window. Whether it is in Ellsworth, Maine or Los Angeles, California, or New York City, New York, they've been their for me & all of my friends just trying to get by. If you want everything you PAID for, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. They don't pay attention and send out incomplete orders.

I have to start off by shamefully admitting that I eat fast food a lot. My lunch break at work is short and I strictly rely on fast food several times a week to get me through the work day. With that being said... this is the ONLY fast food location in Ellsworth that I've frequented weekly that has stayed consistently good since I moved here in 2019. I figured after years and years of constantly getting good orders & good service from this spot that they deserve a shout out. They are always quick. Food is always hot. I don't think they've ever messed up my order (unlike Wendy's down the road who constantly does) and the employees are always nice. Extra bonus points for also being the only spot in town that actually keeps their beverages carbonated. These things are noticed. read more

Poor customer service. Went through drive thru and they forgot part of my order. Went inside and the guy ahead of me was also fixing a messed up order. When he left the manager said "what do you want?!" . Becoming common at this site for poor service, poor customer service and cleanliness read more

They need to take people in order, if they can't run 2 lanes for orders shut one down, I waited for them to take my order as 4 people in other lane ordered and left. Guess I need to walk in. read more

Workers here are hardly competent. Service is quick, but almost guaranteed to have something wrong with your order. I always order a cheeseburger with only ketchup. Without fail, there are always a few pieces of onion or whatnot on the bottom of my burger. I do not like onions. Makes me wonder if they actually clean their workspace, because I should not be finding anything on my burger besides cheese and ketchup. The other options are good, besides asking for extra ice. They never do the extra ice right. Maybe if they hired competent staff I'd be more open to getting food here. read more

burger wrappers on inside out, no condiments on the burger, asked for extra pickles, came with none, asked for no onions, they put them in it one half piece of bacon and they were 4$ each bacon mc doubles.... worst service ever read more

We ordered one happy meal three quarter pounders one Big Mac and four fries and they forgot to give us the Big Mac and two of the fries ‍

When you order at mic, an show up to the window, an pick up a 25$ order, you see what's on top of the bag, thinking you got your two meal order. As the wife ate her burger on the way home as I waited, as not to get distracted while driving. Drove 12 miles home, an I look in the bottom of the bag. I ordered a big Mac combo. In the bottom of the bag is a box labeled a crispy chicken. Not what I ordered. I'm allergic to chicken. So I drove back 10 miles to mc Donalds to complain. An the manager looked like he was ready to have a mental breakdown when he say me walk threw door with a bag in my hand. He asked me what was wrong, looking nervous. Rubbing his hands threw his hair. I said this is not what I ordered. An showed him the bag. He saw that it said crispy chicken. An a full container of fries, along with my wife's empty container. They got her order correct. She ate on the ride home. So we drove 10 miles back to complain, an he asked me to pull out the crispy box. So I did. He told me to open it. So I did an inside was a cold un sightly looking sorry looking excuse for a burger. Dry, sadly put together, an a full box of cold fries. He told me they ran out of big Mac containers. So had to put them em in other containers. But did not notify of that. I drove 20 miles out of my way, an time. An he wouldn't even give me fresh food for my inconvenience. Sad sad sad. read more

My mocha frappe addiction has me coming here at least a few times a Summer and i've been here quite a few times over the years. I've always found it to be clean and the counter people quick and friendly. The location was recently renovated and now has a flat screen TV and a serve yourself soft drink area. Right now all size soda drinks are $1. My mocha frappe was just as it should be. As McDonald's goes this one deserves 5 stars. read more

It was July 4th morning. I see many traveler got some coffee and breakfast. Line was long but service was quick and tried to their best. I think that little expensive from my town.(Ex. Hash-brown was $1.39. My town is $0.99 cent. And Boston area was$ 1.19.) But still cheap and great for Acadia's traveler. Also they open July 4th night. Thank you! They were very friendly and nice, but the hash browns were literally dripping with grease. The greasiest McDonald's I have ever been to and that's saying a lot. They did give us a free sandwich card for the wait, but I don't think we will be using it. read more

Yet again, they have made a mistake with out order. My wife can't eat dairy, it makes her vomit. Not a big deal they just messed it up AGAIN. These people can't seem to get anything right. Quality, Service & Cleanliness the is how they rate themselves. Service poor, people up front inside poorly trained watched 2 customers walk out, 1 with incorrect order twice and me I was second in line waited 7 minutes to set down at a dirty table with overflowing trash cans & dirty floors. Restroom was also in need of attention. Quality was good however I would like to have a full order of fries when I order. Yes there were plenty of employees and 3 managers to bad they weren't managing. Nope will never return there plenty of other places to eat. read more

My other half was starving so we ran through the drive through to get a quick breakfast sandwich. The food here is pretty standard but the charge you extra for extra condiments. So if you ask for two ketchup packets, the charge you 5 cents for the additional packet. Same for the cream. Maybe they have hoarding vacationers around here! Stoped in to get an iced coffee and Apple pie for a snack . They were very good and I also used the rest room it was very clean .

Two bad experiences at 2 McDonald's in one day. Wasn't my day! This one wasn't as bad as the other, at least. Service was okay although we had to ask for our drink cups twice. The cashier didn't tell my son that he would be charged for the sauce he asked for on his sandwich. I guess he's gotten it at other franchises at no charge so he wasn't expecting that. And then he didn't even get the sauce he paid for. We got "no pickles" instead. Possibly, someone with "no pickles" got our sauce. He chose not to go in to get the correct sandwiches. He said it wasn't worth the trouble. The food was good, and hot. Also, there was a flyer stating they're hiring "smiling" workers. They need them there. No one was smiling. read more

All we wanted was 2 coffees. Twenty minutes in the drive through later, we had coffee. If you're in a hurry, skip it.

We stood inside at the counter over 5 minutes to be waited on. We were ignored since they were working on drive thru customers only. There was 4 in our party and two behind us. We turned around and left. read more

I am disappointed every time I come here. They have advertisements for third pounders but they don't sell them. Breakfast all day? What a joke that is. Every time I come here I am greeted warmly and promptly. My order is always correct and my food delicious. Free wifi and french fries keeps me coming back. I drive up from Bar Harbor at least once a week just to come here and use as my "local" coffee shop. thanks guys. read more
