    No meat

This being the closest McDonald's to me, I still live about 20 minutes away and had to turn around once already to get a new fountain drink because my drink was straight carbonation due to negligence to make sure they are stocked . Once I got home I opened my food to realize I have no meat in EITHER of my Big Macs, just lettuce pickles onions and a bun not even the Big Mac sauce. Absolutely ridiculous. Every time I go to this McDonald's it's an issue. I called EIGHT times to be sent to voicemail 6 of those times and the last two times they turned the phone off so nobody can call. HORRIBLE customer service!

I usually don't review fast food restaurants cause they are, well, fast food joints but I will make an exception here. The pictures I took pretty much say it all, and this is the norm here. If you absolutely have to have McDonalds I suggest driving into Florence or rethinking this decision and heading over to the subway across the parking lot.

I'm visiting Florence, AZ when I saw The Florence Cafe located at 495 N Pinal Pkwy, Ste 102,…read moreFlorence, AZ 85132 It was a cowboy cafe serving breakfast and lunch. It was the cleanest restaurant (including the restrooms) I've ever experienced. There were booths, tables and a bar you could sit at. The ambience was country with background music playing. The service was excellent. The two servers worked as a team making sure all the customers were served. The chefs worked really hard to produce an excellent meal. So before I get into the food, I want to give a disclaimer. Everyone have different ideas about what the food should be. The few poor star reviews reflect this. I am not that particular as long as the meal uses fresh quality ingredients and is prepared with care. Florence Cafe fulfills my requirements. The western omelette with cheese was the classic type-no souflet or fluffy. The filling was fresh and hot. The biscuits and gravy was really delicious (gravy was not thick and gooey). The star of the meal was the house made salsa (slight upcharge) which was thick and delicious. The coffee was really good! I also tried a cinnamon roll and a slice of apple pie-really good! The cinnamon roll was not too sweet and not loaded with thick sugary syrup like so many others are. The restaurant had a lot of customers and I looked at some of the lunch items being ordered. Everything looked great! I liked this restaurant very much and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it if your in Florence, AZ.

In this Saturday afternoon my mother-in-law just got back from her trip to Greece. Normally someone would just sleep this day away, but she arrived rejuvenated. Let's go to Windmill Winery she insisted. Who was I to disagree?. We arrived on a lovely Saturday afternoon and had a quick walk around. The birds strategically placed all around the grounds was a nice touch. The koy feeding pound was nice with its running water providing some soothing ambient noise. We order a couple of bottles of wine and a couple of charcuterie boards. The options on the boards were very nice. The disappointing part is that it wasn't on a board. It came in a Styrofoam box. While not a big deal, it did take away from the ambiance and winery feel. Sorry, I don't remember the exact names of the bottles but I will do my best to distinguish them. Also... I'm a bit of a wine snob, but know nothing about wine. I just know what I like. I will start with the Pinot Grigio that's made at this winery. It had a bit of a sweet tinge to it. Not overpowering but definitely hits you on the back end. It was ok, but I don't really care for a sweetness in most my wines. We also had another Pinot Grigio that was not made at that location. That was more to my liking, with a nice dry back to it and a bit of bitterness. We also had a sweet white. I remember this one because they didn't really qualify it a Syrah, Reisling, or Moscato. They compared to a Reisling but I feel it was more adjacent to a Syrah. It was berry forward. Not for me but my grandmother loved it. After the two bottles we drank by the glass. My wife and I stuck with the imported Pinot and my in-law la stuck with the Syrah adjacent. We also ordered one of their flat bread pizzas. While it seemed as if they didn't really have much of a kitchen the pizza was a pleasant surprise. We really enjoyed it. As it got later in the afternoon people began to leave. We were among the last to start to leave, but as we were walking out you could see cars began to arrive and they were in the stages of setting up for an even event with a band. I will surely return for that. I love live music and pair with wine and food... well then you just stole my heart. Great place to visit.
