Slowest McDonald's ever. I always dread going to this location. Staff is slow and always understaffed

Let me say first that I generally like McDonalds, but today I went to the location in Foothill Ranch and I ordered the new crispy chicken sandwich, med fries and drink. The sandwich was a bun, two pickles and the chicken. No condiments at all. It was dry and tasteless . The fries were cold and limp with no salt, yuck! Seriously guys, you can do better than that. Manager, shame on you for letting food go out that way. read more

Place is clean, bright, has a fun indoor play area for the kiddos and has great, hardworking employees. There was this young guy who worked tirelessly to clean the premises. The dining area outside the play area is spacious. What really impressed me was their honesty and diligence. The other I held a holiday get together for a bunch of kids and my son dropped his present before we left. He didn't even realize the holiday gift was missing until a day later. I had my hubby call to see if they found it and they did! They held the gift for us to pick up the following day. That act alone was very kind and thoughtful. That act made us all the more impressed by the staff at this location. We will be back since the kids love this location, its play area and the yum food that comes out quickly. read more

Why so expensive??? Is it gourmet burger? Better than In&Out? I think they charge more than any other Mc places. Near by high school kids are coming to eat their lunch here. For them, this place is cheaper and better than school foods. And good to hang out during lunch break. Also this Mc place is located in very rich neighborhood area in Irvine. I guess they don't mind to pay more on same food. $9.19 for double quarter pound. It is nearly $4 more expensive than the double double of In and Out. Taste and quality not much better. read more

This place is the slowest McD ever! And I don't think it's due to slow employees, I would blame the franchise owner! No matter what time of day, they always appear understaffed, with employees looking overwhelmed every time I've visited. I'd give them one star, but the other star is for all the hardworking employees there. Brian was very accommodating to my disability and even helped me take the sticker off my ice cream cone because my disability prevents me from being able to do it myself. He even remembered to do it without me having to ask as I come to this location often for ice cream. 5 stars!!! read more

Every single time I come here, the employees at the handoff window are extremely rude. I've always tolerated it but today I came and order two burritos and two hash browns. The guy at the first window was nice but when I got to the second window, there was an older lady. She gave me a disgusting look and literally shoved the bag in my window and said "here" and immediately turned around. I almost dropped the food in my car, but didn't. I gave them two stars because I don't think they screwed up my order this time. Consistently slow as compared to other McDonald's in the area. Today I paid for my food and drove up to proceed to the pickup window when the guy who took my money yells out the window and said I didn't pay. He comes running to the second window where I'm sitting holding the receipt. I told him if he wasn't sitting there talking the whole time he probably would have noticed I paid! I even complied with your demands of using the "kiosk" to order and ate in - hoping for a quick turnaround. But no. Don't use the order kiosks here. Not only does it suggestive sell, and you have to click lots of buttons to refuse suggestions. But the people on line are gonna get their food before you even if your order is completed before them. I just ordered, paid and watched the customers at the register walking away with their egg mcmuffins. While I stood in the background. Then I had to go to the counter to remind them I was here. This location is honestly an embarrassment to the McDonald's brand. They have for years, consistently failed to follow proper health/safety procedures. They have consistently, for MANY YEARS, failed to deliver hot food, the correct amount of food ordered... or even your order entirely on multiple occasions. The general vibe inside makes me feel like I will be stabbed at any given moment. Waiting in the drive-thru can be utterly ridiculous at times. This location needs to be shut down, deep cleaned, refurbished and re-staffed from top to bottom. There's FLIES everywhere around the soda fountains! I will drive further and very much out of the way to a different location if I crave McDonald's... which is RARE considering how this location has totally killed my appetite for anything from McDonald's. read more

It seems as change of ownership has happened in this McDonald. I see new faces at register, drive-through . No greetings, mistakes in orders, one cashier acts like he doesn't want to be there. In one of my food order he made 3 mistakes. Hope the management will look into their service policy bring some changes according to McDonald's policy. I'm not really too sure how I feel about this McDonald's. Over the course of several years it has only been disappointment after disappointment and I really do hate saying that. The food is mid af and it's hard to pay the raising prices if the food quality isn't going to meet the criteria. Not only that, every time a cool happy meal comes out it seems like they "never have enough." Knowingly that a popular happy meal toy is going to hit the menu why not order a shit ton of them? Upon my arrival for the adult happy meal (which made me put down my controller) only to be trolled and Mcfucked by a sign that said "no more adult happy meals." Again I get it but something has to change. The trabuco McDonald's is always tip top with how that store is ran and they receive more business without the let down of a collab being sold out or a promotion that they are happy to serve you. This Star is for their customer service... I just wanna say RUDE RUDE and even more RUDE! Went here to buy a hello kitty toy this morn 10/17 at 10am. The old asian lady handed me my order and she forgot to give me my second order which was for the hello kitty toys. I told her the guy I ordered from said there were two different toys and that I wanted to exchange one of my toys for a different hello kitty toy... she tells me they only have one toy.. then I tell her I was not told that.. then she lifts up a bin of toys and there are so many different hello kitty toys!!! If I had known they had others I would have bought more! The entire time this woman was very rude to me and acted like I was bothering her. The cashier at this McDonald's was very polite and even though the Filet-O-Fish special was not posted on the window of this branch, he explained the single and double specials of Friday. The double special comes with a full slice of cheese as opposed to the single, which has always had half a slice. Their Grand Reopening, according to their window, is on 9/27/2014. They have expanded their normal seating into part of where the playplace is and painted the walls and seats brown, along with new brown furniture. It looks less obsolete than when it was white. However, the bathrooms were not remodeled. They look the same. read more

The McRib was back, that's my childhood favorite, so I had to get one. Have to say the size was smaller than I remembered maybe they did that to reduce the calorie count or maybe they had to do it to make a profit(like they aren't already). The sandwich itself looked bad with part of the meat hanging off the side of the bun but that BBQ sauce was great! UPDATE 1/30/21: Had to get the McRib before it was gone again. I got the sandwich this time and looked much better when opening the box, altogether. Ordered extra onions and pickles definitely makes it better. read more
