I waited 25 minutes for them to mess up my curbside order, they gave my order to another car.

Here are most definitely some things to consider Ms Amy "Manager" at our local McDonalds restaurant. This morning at 8:13:13am I placed my mobile order as I daily have for I love and am thankful for my rewards. My order was light today for you see I ordered a medium latte with a hash brown and instead got to watch Amy behave like a complete idiot. Amy your continued rude passive aggressive "customer service" needs to be noted. Amy this morning my family and I were happy to see that the restaurant drive thru was not a long line it was short and sweet. When I first noticed Amy was when she walked over to the pick up window and she made eye contact with me but didn't greet me nor offer to help any of her peers. Instead Amy passed back and forth looked completely confused and stressed. Amy then makes her way to now stand in front of the pick up window to the point that I believed in my heart she was about to help me with some kind customer service. Amy chose to stand and instead let out her famous "long sigh" I say famous because Amy has behaved like so in the past. Amy then walks away from the window completely ignoring the customer staring back at her (customer being myself). Amy then proceeds to walk away from the window looks back at me again makes heavy eye contact and this woman take her bare Right hand and begins to scratch her bare Right side of her body close to the waist line. It was absolutely disgusting and above all unacceptable unprofessional behavior. Amy this is not the first time we complained about you and considering that you are still choosing to behave like someone that doesn't care about "customer service " you have become a "I'm here to get paid human" you don't care about the integrity of the company you work for McDonalds. I visited my local McDonald's a few days ago and had a terrible experience (This is the exact location). After drinking their Coke, my stomach immediately started hurting, and I spent the entire night in discomfort. I had nonstop diarrhea and vomiting the next day, I was sick for almost three days and had to call off work because it was that bad. I also couldn't eat anything excepts for drinking water to stay hydrated. My husband later mentioned that he saw the staff used a bucket to fill the ice machine when we were at the drive through window. Isn't the ice machine supposed to make its own ice? What's to guarantee that the bucket is clean or the ice is safe to consume? This event has left me traumatized, and I don't think I'll ever eat at McDonald's again. read more

Order accuracy is a 50/50 gamble at this location. Even for something simple like extra ice or no pickles. The lines are always very long but move pretty quickly. This location has 2 rows. Today the line was longer than I had anticipated so I used their walk up window. That's right now more inside entry, just a window with a bell that you ring when you're ready to order. I know many of you from the Great Wolf Lodge will consider this location for convenience, but it's pretty bad. We ordered breakfast and one of the items we ordered was the deluxe breakfast, at the pickup window I asked if we can have syrup and utensils; they said it was in the bag. Being extra careful, I parked the car and double checked, it was not. Also, our deluxe breakfast did not have any bacon in it (missed that one). Also, we got a bunch of coffees, 2x black, 2x with 3 sugar and 3 cream, and asked for extra sugar and cream on the side; nothing on the side and 4x all black coffees. read more

UPDATE.... Not much has changed in these past months since I wrote my first review except personally I think it has gotten worse. I still receive my drinks with extra soda spilled on the sides and not wiped off, the drive thru is still an average of 15 min wait on differnt times per day, and as an added bonus that makes it more difficult I do use the mobile app to order ahead thinking it would make things faster, however it doesn't help. First at this location there are only two drive up spots for mobile order pickup and the signage specifically says that. However the majority of the time people just park there and go inside to eat so those spots are rarely available. Also if you do get to pull up and use the spot the drive thru backs up so much you get blocked in it's a lose lose situation. I know what you are thinking as you read this.... Why doesn't he just go inside? Well on average I count more than ten employees working and usually the ones that are supposed to be out front at the counter to help or answer questions hide in the back. The remodeled lobby does look great but it leaves no visible way to oversee the lobby like it used to so customers just loiter and wait for some help. I don't get it service used to be the primary way of life and quick food now it's so slow no matter which way you order at any time it's almost a waste. With that many employees working you'd think all would be the opposite. Service and quality should be first, honestly if my food came out fresh and hot every time I'd say the wait would be worth it but that just isn't the case. Owners please read this and take it to heart to see where some improvement would only benefit you. More customers in an out more money..... read more

I mobile ordered for curbside pickup and waited over 40 minutes to get my food. I get that they might be busy but when I see all of the cars that were in the drive thru line leave 20 minutes before me that's a problem. 40 minutes is not fast food. It's a waste of time. When I went inside the restaurant to ask what happened, they said it was most likely a glitch and that breakfast ends at 10 am when it clearly says on the app that breakfast ends at 10:29 am. There was another young lady that was very nice as well, she brought my food to the table, which I didn't expect, I thought they would call my name and I would get it from the counter. I was at a McDonald's establishment today 07/21/2024 located at 12542 Harbor Blvd, Garden Grove CA 92840 at 2:30pm. I was there with my family and was appalled by the lack of cleanliness at this location. No tables were cleaned I found myself and other people looking in disgust trying to find a place for them and their family to eat. The floors were dirty. The trash is what caught everyone's eyes as that it was overflowing. I overheard from other customers how disgusted they were by the lack of upcoming. This location is very unsanitary. The workers here are very rude and lacked accountability. I asked to speak to the manager, he came to the front opened a drawer and threw me a business card for the Corporate Office then walked away. I asked another employee what his managers name is and he responded "Erick". Absolutely incredible service. I order a $1 10 piece mcnugget deal right before they close, but as I pullup to the drive through, it hits 11PM and they're closed. So we pull up to window, and this dude is ignoring me. "We are closed, I can't hear you" he says with a smirk on his face. But then, oh what happens next is cinema. The other dude opens the window and asks about my order. They don't have it, but they only got 5 nuggets left and this dude proceeds to yell out, "YO BIG BROTHA! WE GOT ANY NUGGETS LEFT?" and gets me 5 nuggets. This was more than enough effort, but he continues.. show me your order and I will REFUND IT. The issue is, the mcdonalds app is BOGUS and takes forever to load and doesn't even show my order. So this guy asks me for a physical or digital card to refund me. Which I have neither of, but then..oh then he does it. He does a fake order on the cash register and refunds me the $1.09 anyways. It's not about the money. It's the principle. This guy is incredible. An absolute bombshell of a worker in the fast food industry who deserves a nobel peace prize for his service. This turned my experience at this location from a 1 star to a 5 star review in the matter of minutes. I hope that one day all fast food workers will aim to uphold the level of service and compassion which this individual expressed to me. read more
