    Inside the water park

We wanted a snack while our sun was enjoying the water park. I didn't want anything big just something to snack on. We order drinks and nachos. Omg the nachos were HUGE... it came in a pizza box. We didn't realize until our order was ready. I wasn't mad... lol. Just wishing it was tasteful. Was just bland.

Pricey because it's one of the few places to eat inside Great Wolf Lodge. All their food spots cost some dough for the convenience. Buckets is located inside the water park, so it's loud and has a long line. It took a long time to get our order both times because the convenience of not having to leave the water park makes many people just stick to this joint. They have a very basic burger combos. Nothing special, however the fries are pretty good. They taste almost like they're pre-seasoned. They're served hot and crispy. Nothing else was notable here.

I normally don't post bad reviews but this place deserves it. The only thing premium about their burgers was the price. Burgers were tasteless, fries were over cooked, onions rings also tasteless. Took way too long to get the food and when we finally got the food it was disappointing. No refills on the sodas unless you buy the souvenir cup. When I asked for ranch (hoping to introduce some flavor) they told me they were out of ranch. I paid over $70 with tax for terrible food. Yes I'm a little bitter. Save your money and walk over to McDonald's across the street or be prepared to be disappoint your tastebuds and wallet.

Buckets is the food spot inside the water park A small menu with some simple foods, dessert, salads, a few beer/ipa options. Beer & food can be ordered in same window. Mixed drinks are purchased to the right. It's a line of its own! I did see complimentary cups and a jug of water for the guest to help themselves too. Prices are typical for the item! This spot is very convenient. Really helps take advantage of a full day at water park, considering no food item should be allowed in. Yelp review challenge 27/100

a tray of fried chicken with sauce

Ordered family meal nachos without bacon, when I opened the tray it was fries with white melted cheese and onions, nothing like the picture they advertised in the great wolf app. Same with the buffalo chicken. They were covered in buffalo sauce we had to wipe them down with napkins. Better off ordering doordash and meeting the dasher at the lobby. Food is not good.

It was walkable, but a little bit of a trek. 100% worth it. Staff was super friendly and helped us figure out what to order (parents weren't sure whether they wanted Mexican or burgers). We ended up getting the Bulgogi burger, a bacon cheeseburger, some onion rings, and a carne asada fry. Ok. The food doesn't photograph well for your instagram, but it's delicious. Lemme tell ya - after an early morning of flying, we inhaled this food. Would absolutely come back. Was good enough that we're considering skipping dinner at the park The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a good mix of table sizes for everyone. Saw a table near us order the chicken teriyaki plate and it looked delicious as well. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

Apollo Burger is located off Chapman in the intersection of Garden Grove, Orange, and Anaheim (technically Garden Grove though). There's plenty of parking, but it can get crowded when the lunch or dinner rush hits. The interior has a bunch of seating, and the restaurant is very bright and clean. The staff were all super friendly, and everything was made fresh and quickly. I got a bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger (sub mayo, add pickles and onions), and both were exactly what you'd look for in an old school, diner-type burger. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were all great. I also got a chocolate shake which I would venture to say was one of the best chocolate shakes I've had in recent memory. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich as well, but unfortunately that was quite dry as they used pieces of chicken vs a full cutlet, so I would recommend avoiding that. This is a great burger joint in OC, and I absolutely plan to come back. If you're in the mood for a diner burger, this place is absolutely the spot to visit.

Tangy, peppery, slightly creamy, a little addictive. You don't just dip the chicken... you dip everything. Fries, toast, possibly your dignity. The Texas toast deserves its own mention: buttery, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and wildly underrated. Fries are classic crinkle-cut -- not revolutionary, but they do the job, especially when dipped in sauce. Service is fast, efficient, and usually friendly, which matters because Cane's tends to be busy. The vibe is casual, slightly chaotic, but well-run -- especially late night!

Two items were missing from my order. I called the store to resolve this, but the staff told me to wait and she put me on hold for 20 minutes with no help. At the very least, I expect better customer service. Two missing chicken fingers shouldn't be a big deal, but the poor service and 20-minute hold completely ruined my late dinner after a long working day. Also, some of the chicken tenders were noticeably small, were barely half the size they should be. Customer service, if you're reading this, you have my order number and I paid by card, so you should be able to process a refund without asking me to call back.

Good-sized pizza and it's filled with lots of meat, actually pretty good. I always order twice here when we are staying at Great Wolf lodge, one when I bring these pizza's inside the water park for my Son and his friends, and one at night to bring back to our Room as a back up snack at night when everything around the area is already closed. Good Pizza, we never encountered any problem with our order here.

As someone who enjoys good graphic design, that detail stood out and added a nice touch to the overall atmosphere. Food-wise, it was a bit of a mixed experience, so I'll break it down by dish: Fried Chicken Wings (1/5): This one was unfortunately the most underwhelming. The flavor was very mild, and I couldn't detect the toasted rice powder mentioned in the description- neither in the sauce nor as a coating on the wings. I found myself wondering how it was meant to be incorporated. The sauce itself was hard to place, maybe slightly sweet like a subtle honey flavor but overall it felt quite flat and didn't leave much of an impression. Combination Fried Rice (2.5/5): This dish was okay but had some texture issues. The rice leaned dry and a bit hard, with some clumping. There was some seasoning present, but the texture made it less enjoyable than it could have been. Panang Curry Beef (3.5/5): This ended up being the highlight of the meal. The beef was soft, tender, and really well-cooked. The flavor leaned more toward a beef stew profile than a traditional creamy Panang curry, and the color was more of a brownish-orange rather than the usual vibrant golden tone. Because of that, it didn't have the richness I typically expect, but it was still a satisfying dish. I was a bit surprised that it didn't come with rice, as that's something I usually see included-especially at $16. I had to order a side of rice which technically makes this dish $19 because who eats curry on its own? I've never seen it come without rice before. Pad Kee Mao (1/5): This was another dish that didn't quite come together for me. The noodles were quite pale and didn't have much flavor, which stood out since this dish is usually bold and well-seasoned. The texture also felt off- the noodles were clumpy and broken into shorter pieces rather than the long, separated strands you'd expect. Overall, it just didn't have the balance or depth I was hoping for. Service: On a very positive note, the service was wonderful. The server was kind, attentive and really helped make the experience better. The combination of great service and the thoughtfully designed space makes me feel like this place has a lot of potential. I really wanted to love this spot, especially with how strong the presentation and service are. With a bit more attention to flavor and consistency in the dishes, I think it could be a good spot. But as of now, if we were allowed half ratings- this would be 2.5 out of 5. I rated 3 because I liked the service lol.
