Got hella attitude from the staff even the Shift Manger, to the point she yelled out shut up to everyone in the lobby and threw a Bag of french frys in the deep fryer, then she stormed out and sat in her vehicle. New interior remodel, December 2018, gave us more seating with an antiseptic techno grey color scheme but ELIMINATED THE GIANT MURAL! I truly hope it was salvaged and still exists somewhere. Here's some things that I noted on my visit with this location: -Rather spacious inside. Lots of seats available. -There are NO napkins available on the counter area. You'll have to go up and ask an employee if you need more. -Minimal handicapped stalls. -Depends on the time of the day, but parking can be a problem with Ross', L&L, Subway and Blazin' Steaks that are nearby. -Service was decent. The order we placed was accurate and delivered in a timely manner. -Interesting design flaw with the drive-thru. Some parking is within the drive-thru lane. So if you happen to park there, when you back out, be careful, you just might be backing in to a car waiting in line. It's not super major, but really an interesting quirk. read more

Drive thru open 24/7 but crowded as heck. Feel sorry for some of the people that park in front of the drive thru, they can't leave since its blocked by all the cars. Food is decent, can't say it was the best McDonald's, but it wasn't the worst. But there are some items here you can't get in California like Taro pie (compared to the normal Apple pie) and the morning platter that consist of Portuguese Sausage, Spam and Rice. Terrible drive thru service today. Gave me the wrong order. Then when I informed her of this, she demanded I give them the change they gave me. I asked her how much did I owe her, she didn't know. She then spoke in Filipino (thinking I didn't understand what she was saying) telling her coworkers I was trying to steal from them. I gave them back the change and only then did I get my order and then I had to wait another five minutes for them to give me back the correct change. I've never wanted to rate a zero more than tonight. My entire family wanted Baskin Robins across the street. I wanted a Mocha Frappe from Ronald McDonald The Clown business. I ordered it from my other phone of which I left at home and took the other phone. Paid and all, I arrived and still had the confirmation sent to me by other family members at home. They said I needed to have the phone there? That I needed to check in? First time I've ever had to do this. Usually I tell them the confirmation code and my order is handed to me. I went back and forth with the counter person. Even the manager. No one could override and order they see on their screen and hand me my order? Horrible customer service. Maybe it all was explained wrong. But now I'm home, writing a review on their under complained about stale dry fries, their rude service, and slow to move staff. Now added. Resumed; Never have I ever experienced such an under educated staff. Training is important and customer hospitality and service is vital. Ever thought to think your customers are your bosses ? Ice cream machine is ALWAYS down even when they have specials that INCLUDE an ice cream please don't count on it! The attitude sucks such cocky wise employees that always rush you which explains why they mess up such simple orders or forget items & then try to argue with you when you try to explain. read more

As far as McDonalds go, this one needs to take a few notes from some of the other ones on the island. Our order was served to go, we were eating in. They gave us barbecue sauce when we asked for ranch. Our cups weren't given to us until our order was filled. Upon further review we were missing a full meal from the to go bags. A waste of a portion of my eating budget as far as I'm concerned. The only good thing I saw that happened; a kid spilled a drink and they cleaned it up quickly. It is a clean and well decorated place, and the mural kept my kids occupied for a little bit. read more

Not the best service and the place was not very clean. I went early for breakfast, the place was busy and they were trying to get everyone on their way but they got my order wrong so I had to wait for them to fix it. The second time my order came out cold which I had to ask them to warm up. While I was waiting I tried to find a place to sit. Tables were not clean, seats had food and trash on them. The table was sticky from drinks being spilled. I understand they are busy and all but they should keep the place clean. I know it's fast good and all but keeping the place clean should be standard business practice especially for McDonalds. I ended up not going back after that. I found other places to eat which were great and I will find them on yelp and leave them good review. read more

Had a Mcteri, fries, island iced tea after a 6 hours hike. Best Mcdonald experience EVER. Dropped by this Mcdonald on the way back to Waikiki. The environment was clean and neat (compare to the ones in the Bay Area) they must have recent remodeled, everything looks new. I love the Mural inside the Mcdonald (weird that it is inside MD). I had such a pleasant experience here the other day with my mom and children that I had to stop by and share. It was all due to a special employee AARON. He was awesome! I know many of us get frustrated with the lack of enthusiasm, friendliness or helpfulness that should come from any employee-anywhere. I know I am! It's hard to find nowadays at most establishments. Not the case here. Aaron was so courteous, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and just down right good at his job and he owned it! I know how hard it is to work at a place like this as I too worked here while in high school many years ago. Keep up the good work. It won't go unrecognized:) read more

Wow I wish I could give this zero stars if I could. My husband and I went to lnl to order some breakfast and they didn't have hot chocolate so the cashier suggested we go to McDonald's across from here. We waited for 20 minutes and still didn't get the hot chocolate for myself or the iced coffee for my husband. After waiting for so long without any explanation as to why it took over 20 minutes for two drinks, I asked for a refund and they only refunded us for the hot chocolate and gave us the iced drink that had been sitting while waiting for the hot chocolate. I guess there hot chocolate machine was down but they could have said that instead of making us wait with no explanation. Extremely poor service. read more

Ordered buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich from the drive thru, with large fries and an apple pie. One bite of the sandwich tasted burnt. Sure enough, both buns appear to be burnt. Why do you only have 2 people running cash registers (who also seem to be tasked with preparing food after they put the order in) during lunch rush time? Two very elderly workers? I've seen efficient McDonalds but this one is not. I chose to walk in because the drive in line moves very slow too (prior visits) & was hoping for "fast" food service as a walk-in customer. Nope. I grew up often going to this location, but recent renovations make it actually seem more cramped & crowded. When standing in line you're standing right next to people trying to eat at a table. Awkward! The fun mural is still there, & I'm happy for that. read more

Went through the Drive-thru a Saturday at about 1am only one car in front of us ordered 2 mcdoubles no pickles add mac sauce a mcnugget happy meal a number 3 large with a fruit punch and quarter pounder when she told us the total it was only 14 dollars so we were like what the took us about 10 minutes till the car in front their order get to window and ask whats on our order that made it only 14 bucks and all they had was the mcdoubles happy meal and the quarter pounder so we ask about our number 3 meal and the cashier starts to give us attitude like we never ordered it so we were trying to tell her that we ordered it and she is ignoring us she gives our food and its still wrong they never give us our burger for the number 3 order and the fries and drink was medium we jus left cuz her attitude was getting worse and we were like F it and when we got home there was pickles in the mcdoubles we usually go here around the same time but this the first time going through something like this its jus very poor service next time we jus going jack in the box read more
