Fantastic manager here who knows how to appreciate her customers. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and large fries and had to wait a bit for my order. Although me and 3 other customers (who were already seated and eating when I walked in) were the only people inside, the drive thru was packed. So I had to wait a bit for my order. It was eventually done but the manager brought it to me herself, apologized for the length of time that it took and added a complimentary apple pie to my order. I smiled, thanked her and left. Yeah, it was only a pie but the sentiment behind it combined with the apology was really nice. read more

So i ordered a cheeseburger , and asked for leaf lettuce . As this place always messes up i was like let me check for the heck of it , in my head I was like they clearly can't mess up a cheeseburger but i was WRONG ! I asked for leaf lettuce on it and it had none . When I told the girl at the window she gave me the stank face and when she returned and handed me my burger I opened it to find a 12 inch piece of lettuce not even cut ! They really had the audacity to put it like that HAHAH . At this moment I was already pissed because they probably did it in purpose so I decided to walk inside the restaurant . The guy in the kitchen immediately fled when he saw us walk in . A manager by the name of Mayra came to us and apologized . If it weren't for her I would of made a scene , but I am glad she was there . This McDonald's is the worst I've ever been to. They have never been able to get my order correct. The food is never fresh. Inside is always filthy. The other day I ordered a 6 piece chicken nugget I opened the box there were only four inside. I got a sundae and they gave me an empty bag of peanuts to put on top of the sundae. Constantly call to complain. They never seem to get it right. They defiantly do not deserve 15$ an hour. It's like the employees don't even care. On the way home and since this franchise is along the way, we ordered 2 happy meals to go for 2 french fries savvy and very hungry kids and only to find out when we get home not one bit of a french fry was in either of the two meal boxes. Good McDonalds. Plenty of parking at this retro style McDonalds. I got the filet-o-fish and fries. One of the fishes wasn't good and I returned it. There was no complaints from the management. They gave me a new one and I saw them throw the old one out. The food came out quickly and steaming hot. Place was clean as well as the bathroom was in good shape. read more

Every time I've been to this location, whether it's for coffee, breakfast or a quick bite to eat, the service is fast, the people are friendly and the food is prepared right. Oh McDonald's..... Where do I begin? This location is okay. I understand they get busy, but can they please stop giving out ranch dressing for EVERY salad. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and you would think they would have given me the Southwest dressing, especially after I specifically said I want the Southwest dressing. They still gave me ranch..... gross. Luckily I had an alternative dressing at home. There are times where I would go to this location and order a McFlurry. First I was told that they were only accepting cash.... Then they said the machine isn't working........ Can you say FAIL! I used to attend the University of La Verne which is just down the street from this McDonalds location and I came here a lot for lunch just based on the fact that this is the fastest service I've ever gotten at a McDonalds. I'm so impressed with how together the staff functions. McDonald's employees around LA should visit this location just to see how it's really done! I'm talking drive-thru service FYI. So fast. I typically only go here for breakfast!! It's nice that they have the double drive through to help maximize the quickness of the orders and keeping the line down. I'm usually in an through the drive thru pretty quick. They never mess up my order. read more

Drive through service is exceptional. Best drive thru McDonald's I've been to...always fast and friendly service. Most importantly Orders are always accurate. Inside play area is quite gross. I grudgingly will take my daughter here if she begs enough but it's not very clean and has a weird smell. They need to do a better job cleaning this area. read more

I like going to this McDonald's because it has some character with the kinda 50's atmosphere, but this time when I walked in the floor was kinda sticky and dirty everywhere throughout the place. So I proceeded to the counter to place my order asked the young lady at counter if there was anything new at McDonald's and she said yes the bacon clubhouse sandwich so I ordered the meal went to get my drink and the drink bar was dirty with soda everywhere but the new Bacon Clubhouse sandwich was really good. So I sat in that McDonald's and finished my meal but when I was walking out of the McDonald's stopped and told the manager that the lobby was filthy and needed to be cleaned. read more

I do not like to complain, but I do this in hopes management will see this and understand that the handful of teenage workers at this location have been extremely rude. JASMINE, specifically, does not greet customers, does not say goodbye, and does not cooperate with the customers. I've been at this location multiple times, and any encounter I've had with this employee was negative. On a good note, the effort put into customer requests are almost always met, as long as you check before you leave. Still worth going in regards to the awesome managers, kitchen work, and the handful of sweet employees. read more

I am only giving this location 1 star because you can't give it 0. Every single time we get our food there is a problem. Never once has there been an instance where everything is correct. Usually there is an item or two missing, this time I ordered a Big Mac, quarter pounder with cheese 2 fries and a drink. We got 1 Big Mac in a quarter pounder box???? So now I have to check inside every box? The food was cold because every person is made to pull up to the front and wait for your food then they bring everyone's food out at the same time. There were 3 cars waiting and we all got the food at the same time which indicates that they put the orders aside until they finish them all, so if you are the lucky person that gets your food made last you get warm food if your the first it is cold! I just don't understand what is happening with management, or lack of? How does this go on for so long? The past 2 visits at this location have been an awful experiences. Last time I went I ordered 2 #7's which should have given me a total of 4 cheeseburgers. Paid for 4 and only got 3 and was also given the wrong drink size. Today, I tried again with the same order. Staff was rude and not listening. We were given our drinks which were the wrong size. Tried telling the girl at the window and she walked off. We had to pull over and wait for the rest of our food like you ALWAYS do and there were no spots left to park in because they had everyone pulled off waiting for their orders. The lady that brought out our food shoved it through the window and started to walk off. We told her our drinks were the wrong size and she just walked off. So we sat a minute to see if she was even going to bother to bring us the right size. After about 5 minutes had gone by she brought them out and didn't say anything to us just walked off. "SLOWER THAN A TURTLE" I've never experienced such a slow and bad service at a Mc Donald's. Two visits in a week period and I've had ENOUGH!!! Honestly how can a establishment called it self a fast food restaurant when they take from 10 to 20 mins to give you a happy meal, or just 2 coffees???? On both occasions I noticed they concentrate on serving the drive thru above anything else and completely ignore the lines that buildup inside the restaurant. My first visit I counted around 8 to 10 employees working between the kitchen and the drive thru and one in the front cashier who also was bringing the food out to the tables leaving the cashier unattended and with people waiting in line? And on my second visit it took about 5 mins from someone to even acknowledge me and other 3 customers that were standing in line while everyone else again is concentrated in drive thru, which by the way also takes forever to move. Parking lot and restaurant constantly gets dirty and the manager doesn't realize that the cleaning crew needs to be on top of this as customers struggle to find a table that is somehow clean. The sorry story is that people continue to give this Mc Donald's business as La Verne lacks of fast food options to go to, with this said I hope all our reviews get to ears and eyes of management and the headquarters office, because something really needs to get done. read more
