Miracle in fast food , never in my wildest dream thought I could get this kind of service or fresh food at a mc Donald's . I think all fast food operators should come to this store and learn . Best drive-through service McDonald's ever. Crew was very pleasant got my order perfect and I was in and out less than two minutes.

It seems funny as the minimum wage has gone up the competency level has gone down. This is my local location but it seems like it's a 30 minute ordeal to get anything there. The drive thru is backed up into the parking lot the inside line is lined up to the door and there is only one person working the registers. They have three but the other two seems strictly for employees to clock in and out of breaks. This place is a joke it's called fast food not long wait food. Not great customer service at all and the self order kiosk is as slow as the walk up line. 40 people in the back and they still can't get the orders out. This particular McDonalds is located about 1 mile away from my house. Which is pretty convenient. However, for as long as I've lived here and been going to this McDonalds, they have screwed up the addition of condiments, particularly ketchup. Most McDonalds' make it a point to ask you if you want ketchup or sauce, but not this one. So much so that it's to the point that it's pretty clear to assume that some supervisor yelled at their staff of high schoolers trying to make a buck to stop wasting ketchup and to monitor the amount of ketchup they're handing out. And either the staff here really is a bunch of high schoolers or they're so incompetent that they took that message as " don't offer any ketchup at all" because they never put any condiments with your order. As a fast food business and well known at that, you would think that they would get it together enough to provide basic services but this particular McDonalds hasn't caught on. I'm so fed up with their business and hope they get their crap together. I would say I'm not going to visit this place anymore but that wouldn't solve anything. In fact I'm going to be visiting this place every time I want McDonalds and rating them until they make some progress. read more

Don't use McDonalds's Mobile app! This is more a review of the corporation instead of the La Verne location. I have used the app several times without any issue... this particular issue occurred on 4/23 and it impacted all customers that used the mobile app for that location. Basically, when I tried to pay via the mobile app, I got an error saying the payment transaction failed, try again. Tried 4 times, same message... went into the store to conduct the transaction with cash because they said they could not help me with the mobile app. My credit card showed 4 charges and when I called the McDonald's Mobile app support line, the first agent.. hung up on me when I asked to speak to his supervisor. I called back and asked for the supervisor right off the bat and when the supervisor (Alex) came on the line... he said they have no "tool" or way to reverse charges and to talk to my bank. This is unacceptable at many levels in my book. I then called the main corporate customer service line, the rep said to call the Mobile app line and when I told her that they cannot reverse the charges and I want her to take ownership of this issue... she said her supervisor would call me. To date, no call from McDonald's. Very disappointed in how they handle customers and very disappointed in the customer handling of the mobile app team. I suspect that mobile app team is a 3rd party and not employees... this is based on their unprofessional manner. Epic fail in my book! read more

I have never been to a McDonalds like this. Driving through on our way home, we stopped for breakfast. Besides the decor of the place, the staff was amazing. You order your food and they bring it to your table! They offer refills on your coffee at your table! What? Everyone tells you to have a nice day. Truly a wonderful experience. Way to go to the manager and all the people who work there!! Thumbs up!! read more

Just came home from a TERRIBLE experience. I was at the drive thru, ordered a 20 pc and a cheeseburger happy meal. I get to the window, get told my order, it was correct, paid, went to the next window. Get there was told hi, was told "here you go" and was given a paper bag, assuming my entire order was in there because the girl didn't come back to the window or told me she was coming back with something else, I left, got to the exit to see I only had the 20pc and apple juice. I head back to parking lot, told my nephew to go in and ask for what was missing, 10 minuets pass I tell my niece to go back in to check on him, another 10 minuets, I call her from the car to see what's going on and she tells me that they said they were making it again, I said ok, rather have it fresh for the time I had waited but then another 10 minuets pass and I go in cause it's been 30 minuets. It was semi empty in there no one in line except a guy who I saw receive a big order. I go up to the cashier and tell her I've been waiting for 30 minuets for something so little, she turns around and I see that the happy meal hasn't been put together. I saw her put all the items in the box and said sorry for the long wait, I didn't want to deal with it anymore and left. Also, I've never eaten lunch or dinner here, I only ever had breakfast, and I get it rarely, so I don't know how the later hours work and I will never again come here. The wait time was ridiculous. I just left not even 5 minutes ago from this location and I haven't ever been to a bad McDonald's. I waited 10 minutes at the drive through window, thinking my food would be super fresh because I'm at the window just waiting to pay and for my food. Once the girl came to the window to take my payment she gave me the bag that was sitting there for those 10 minutes with the drive through window open! So now my food was cold when I got it. Also to top it off she got mad when I asked for bbq sauce. If you don't like customer service please pick a different place to work. read more

At least they got my 2 sundaes order correct. The manager told me the shakes weren't gluten free. Which I know they are and confirmed it on the nutritional facts. More than half the time, my order is wrong in the drive through and last time I went through the drive through, in the middle of taking my order, the employee had a conversation to someone else about him watching her put whip cream on someone else's drink. I ordered chicken tenders and a kids meal with an order of large fries. They put like 6 sauces in my bag with the fries and gave me the kids meal and that's it. 4/01/2018 around 11pm something... RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We asked for 4 McChickens 1 med drink and a happy meal that comes with a small drink but before finishing the sentence he said WHAT? you want WHAT ? With so much attitude. Couldn't get his name they switched people at the window. When we get to the window the guy forgets to give us our drinks and said bye! my bf said excuse me our drinks and can we get bbq. We ate here for the first time tonight. We ordered our food around 7. While we waited we noticed that almost every car going thru the drive thru would have to pull up out front and wait for their food. After about 35-40 minutes an employee carried a bag outside and brought it back in. My husband was waiting near the counter and noticed him take the food out of the bag and put it on a tray and try to hand it to him. He had the guy re-make it because who knows what happened to our food outside. As we were eating I noticed my son's fries were not in his happy meal box. We let the employee know and they gave us his fries. Needless to say they had hair in them. By this point we had been in McDonald's over 50 minutes and just wanted to get on the road since we had a 45 minute drive home, so we just threw them away. Um it's McDonald's what do you expect as a fast food option. But I'm writing this review as a girl who took our order went above and beyond I didn't get her name but it was around 5:30pm, on 7/31. I mean the transaction was probably about 2 minutes and that's all it took to make me actually feel good about ordering. I made my order and she went and made a meal and made our order cheaper saving us a few dollars and that's all it took to put a smile on my face and she didn't have to do that so it was much appreciated. read more

Alright...where to start. I always go to this McDonald's and everyone has been great, but what was in the water tonight? I was told at the first window that their machine isn't working for non chip credit cards so I was told that I can pay at the 2nd window with my regular card(non chip). When I got to the second window the girl asked me what I ordered and told me that it got canceled. So I told her I never canceled it that I had a non chip card. She just leaves and another girl comes up and goes what's wrong? I tell her the same thing and then I said then I'll just use another card that does have a chip and she goes "I don't understand why you could've done that to begin with" rolls her eyes! Then literally asked me what I ordered like 3 times! and proceeds to tell me that I have to come in to pay. But why I asked..? so then she walks about five steps to another register to charge me. Ooh I get it you're giving me attitude AND you don't feel like walking to another register, awesome. They gave me so much attitude when the other chick that left to begin with, handed me my drink and food, she might as well just thrown it at me cuz I can tell she was pissed. This Mc Donald's looks nice but it is terrible! I took four kids there on a Sunday evening. They got all the orders wrong, didn't have happy meal boxes or even toys. Today our family visited this McDonalds location at 2269 Foothill Blvd, LaVerne Ca 91750 After eating we took Ryan into the play area. She enjoyed playing on the equipment for quite awhile and then for some reason became afraid to come back down. I read the area rules which distinctly say Play Save, enter the play area slowly so you don't bump into anybody. Leave your shoes here, Kids 3-12 can play. Parents, Too! So I slowly went up to talk Ryan back down. As I was sitting there calmly getting her to stop crying a McDonalds employee came in and said there was a complaint that an adult was on the play equipment and that I must come down. After coming down I went to the manager who claimed that yes there was a complaint and that adults aren't allowed. I showed her the sign and she said she'd never seen it before. Now this sign and equipment has been here for years. She then said that the equipment isn't designed to handle adult weight. I told her that 10 12 year olds are going to weigh 5 times what I do and if the equipment isn't weight safe then they'd better be prepared for a law suit. Again referring to the rules I explained that what they should have done was tell the complaining party what the rules are and if they don't like the rules they could go somewhere else. The Manager apologized but never acknowledged the problem. We won't be going back to this location or any McDonalds for that matter as climbing through the play equipment reminded me of the horror stories of the past. The equipment was sticky and smelled like pee. As if it hadn't been cleaned in months. Be Aware, Stay Away! P.S. I need a shower. read more

The five stars is not for the food. McDonalds is McDonalds the world around. What makes this place FIVE stars is for the staff. They so dam nice ( they make me feel bad because I am nowhere near this nice). I stop in and get a coffee or something small while I wait for my son to be dismissed from Bonita High (great school). I admit I sometime stop by for coffee just to get a little of that "feel good." Stop in and soak it up. They will also give you coffee grounds for your garden or some other purpose that I can't think of. read more

Nice employees and facility but they screw up your orders 75% of the time in the double lane drive thru. If your not given the wrong order then they cook/prepare it wrong. The Mc Donalds on Garey has only one drive thru & doesn't make constant mistakes like this location. read more

Yesterday I was planning to use the drive-through at this McDonald's, but as there was a long line I decided to go in. The cashier help was very friendly. I enjoyed having the order brought to the table, which was sitting inside of a red Caddy. The gal was sweet and even made another trip to bring me a straw. Good service used to be a given, but in these times good service stands out. Thank you everyone at the LaVerne restaurant. A little kindness goes a long way. I had had two and a half hours of intense dental work before coming in and was a little sensitive so your kindness was much appreciated. read more

It's my first time here and I was impressed. The staff are very friendly, and never in NY that they come around with a smile and ask me if I want a refill on my coffee. That alone made a nice impression. Jamie who refilled my coffee couldn't have been any nicer and works so well with other customers. They all seem to know and like her, and I think her personality is just awesome. The interior is very clean, and the staff comes around wiping your tables and asking if there was anything they can help you with. I felt I was in an inexpensive restaurant with the nicest people around. Definitely would come back here, for the service, food and atmosphere. read more

Very very decent McDonalds overall. The dining area is pretty cool I love the look and I also like how they have a car to sit on, as a child I always wanted to sit on the car. The employees really vary depending who the person is. I cannot call out anyone personally but employees can either be really unintelligent or a very nice person. McDonalds usually screws up my orders but if its something simple then they won't screw up. This place gets a three star though due to the atrocious play place for the children. As a child I used to enjoy going into the play place and entertaining myself. Until one faithful day, I found a half eaten hamburger in the playground and I didn't want to go back in. Another day, it was revealed that a baby had pooped in the fire truck and the smell stayed there for a very very long time. After that I never went into the playground again which was perfectly fine with me cause I grew. I'm not a kid anymore so I can't really fit in it anyway. Overall an adequate McDonalds but not the cleanest one in existence but its a McDonalds what does anyone expect? read more
