Was here with the hubby, the day before yesterday. I'm not a big fan of the chain as it's not vegetarian friendly (not even a Veggie Wrap on the menu) but stopped over for a quick brunch. The facility looked neat and clean. The store had very less crowd the time I visited, maybe it's because of the non-prime hour (10.30 ish). Staff were occupied busy working in the kitchen area and the person at the till was attentive & helpful. We picked our Egg McMuffin (no meat & yeah!! we are Eggetarians!!) - buns weren't welcoming, burnt on the sides; a tea - asked for a hot chocolate earlier but to my dismay, the machine was down; a coffee - usual serving; hash browns - good & crispy & Fruit N' Yogurt Parfait - the best on our tray. We ended up paying very less, just around 10$ plus tax for two people. Every item costed just 1$ or less than 2$ maximum. To our surprise, even Fruit N' Yogurt Parfait was priced 1$. I hate to rate them but for years they have been a favorite as far as a McDonald's goes. Always friendly and orders rarely messed up. We visited there today and I couldn't believe them. They handed my food and drink to the car in front of me and they gave it back and then gave it back to me. Being that one of my first paying jobs was with McDonald's in the early 70's and I worked for McDonalds while I was in college ,,, 40yrs later I continue to have an inner affiliation for the golden arches. I know that service varies greatly with different locations. Service at this Vasco Rd location has not always been good. But I feel because of the bad ratings I have left in the past,, I have to commend the current management for their ability to have a decent staff at the drive thru and pickup. Service has been personable, and efficient. I work across the freeway and a stop at McDonalds is part of my daily routine,, and sometimes for my meal break. I have not experienced a mistake or a missing item in my orders in over a years time and I can depend on a service time of less than 5 minutes through the Drive Thru. As a past McDonald's manager - Ray Crock can be proud of this one. read more

This location has a great staff. I mostly drive-thru, and the service has always been excellent: friendly customer service, orders are taken with no mistakes, and your food is ready by the time you reach the pickup window. The food is always hot and, for me anyways, seems to taste better than the other McDs in the area. read more

This one is a newer (relatively; less than 5 years old), the place isn't usually very busy inside (lots of drive-thru traffic given they're right at 580 at Exit 55 (old school: Vasco Road). hello, i would like to send in a complaint about the livermore, 805 N Vasco Road location. my aunt and i are currently commuting 2 hours to nursing school, we always go to that mcdonald's on our way to school. we needed to use the restroom and it is posted that the dining room is open at 5. the employees refused to come speak to us at the door to explain to us what the situation was. we were knocking, confused to as why they wouldn't let us in. & the manager signals us to go through the drive through after us standing outside for about 5-10 minutes. we go around to the drive through and the manager was reluctant to speak to us at first. the employee at the window only spoke spanish and we could not communicate with him. when we asked for the manager she refused to step forward and finally when she did, she was very rude stating that "by law she could not open the doors" we did not get room to get a word in. she then told us to leave or else she'd call the police and give them our license plate number. we asked for her name but she refused, being absolutely unprofessional, & flat out disrespectful. we are very disappointed with the way we were treated at this location & hope something will be done. the way she treated us was not right and it really left a bad impression on a place we usually don't have a problem going to. read more

This place was a toss up between 2 & 3 stars. What made me decide on 3 stars was the Wednesday and Sunday hamburger/cheeseburger deals. You can't beat 39 and 49 cents. I haven't seen that deal offered anywhere else and I've been to hundreds of McDonald's. The bathroom was filthy. One employee was closing off the eating and wouldn't answer my question "Do you need me to get up at this moment?"... I have no idea what she was doing. She apparently spoke no English and got her manager to come and talk to me. Wow..that's professional. I was kinda off put about having employees who speak absolutely no English.You'd think that the employee could speak at least a little since the Menu is in ..English. Ugh.. I won't get started about my feelings on that subject. Yep.. I'll refrain but if you want to know, message me. Then... the tea was empty in the container. Nobody cared. I ended up drinking water & getting a refund for my cup. Stupid. I'm not sure if this would be a good place to eat in at. Next time I'll do drive thru for the burger deals. It'll be easier to sit in my car and eat it instead of inhale cleaners and deal with employees who can't communicate. All the other food we ordered was same as other McDonald's quality. Same taste too. Nothing special there lol My advice: Drive thru for the deals and eat it in your car. Go inside for a bathroom break if you must but bring your own toilet paper and a clothes hanger for your nose. read more

I go here during my lunch break for a quick snack. I use the drive-thru and boy does it get busy during lunch time. I can't complain though, my fries always come out tasting fresh. I generally have good service and good food at this McDonald's but tonight they served me a raw patty on my double quarter pounder. Maybe it was that they were busy but I was disappointed tonight. I couldn't finish eating the burger once I realized I was eating raw meat. I wish I could have gone back to show the manager but I was committed to an appointment. It's been raining for days here. Surprising they haven't managed to fix the roof on top the pickup window. My car was flooded by water pouring down from the roof at the pickup window when I drove up to pick up my order. I suppose they can't care since I already paid. Interestingly, the paying window was very very well covered from the rain. I should have looked up the reviews prior to coming here. I told the girl who handed me my food at the pickup window about this and she didn't seem to care. Wow!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!! Everywhere is wet on the driver seat side is now soaked WET!! Absolutely the worst service at a Mc Donald's. It was 9:45 pm on Monday. Door says they close at 10:00. I could not get inside for my quick order to have food for my travel. The guys at the door said they were closed. I told them the door says 10:00. They looked at me about 3 guys or so shrugged and walked away. A few minutes later the manager approached. He first told me the bathrooms were closed. I looked at him puzzled. He went on to say that he had to close early. This was because he had young guys working and was short staffed. Amazingly disappointing. There was a disgruntled and disrespectful employee that refused to put our order in because we arrived at 945 pm and he wanted to get out on time. The restaurant closes at 11 but he insisted that he couldn't place our order due to there being 7 of us. He openly complained to the cashier about why he did not lock the doors and he's not going to put the order through. Worst of all my kids were witness to his loud and obnoxious behavior. Terrible experience. We walked out in fear of having anything done to our food. Who knows if going through the drive through would've made a difference being they closed at 11 pm! I take my kids here often for breakfast when we are in a time crunch. The drive thru always moves quickly! Never waited in that line more than 5 minutes from start to finish, even on the busiest mornings. Never had any problem with my order being incorrect either. I try to stay away from McDonalds, but when I do, I like to get their oatmeal in the mornings. The drive thru is very fast. Staff here is very nice and courteous. I also like to order their Hot Caramel Mocha but they always rip me and give me a cup half full, and the rest is all whipped cream. I guess next time I will ask for no whip! read more

Wow. All of Northern California McDonalds (according to news reports) is giving out free breakfast to kids under 13 today only between 6:30-9:30 am, EXCEPT this McDonald's. I was one of a long line of parents that woke up early and got their kids excited about this special morning, to be told at the drive thru, "no we aren't doing that" and "we don't have that special". Well I hope saving the couple hundred dollars it would have cost to participate is worth all the bad publicity. What a let down. I will try to avoid this McDonald's in the future.
