This location is very professional and clean. My family and I stopped in for lunch. The cashier, Abigail helped us place our order. She was very nice, professional, and polite. After we placed our order, we received the food very quickly which was surprising because they were pretty busy. After we received our order we noticed one of the sandwiches wasn't made right. We brought the sandwich to Abigail. She understood and agreed there was a miscommunication and remade the sandwich without any hesitation. Her customer service is amazing. The product of fast food chains is not equel. The 5 star review for this Togos is relative to my experiences at the Ace Hardware shopping center Togos in Livermore and how the Togos style sandwich is prepared. This Togos was clean in the customer area, the counter and the work area of the employees even during the main lunch hour. Employees were engaged in their tasks without any disgrunteled or harried expressions. The manager was visible and took the orders, greeting customers with a smile on her face. Sandwiches were made quickly with the proper proportion of ingredients. The sandwich was stacked evenly so every bite taken had the varied ingredients. It was an excellent Togos type of sandwich. Unlike the other Togos in town, the bread was fresh and the sandwich was not sloppily put together. The $32 price tag for two large #9's ( pastrami) has gotten to the point where we dont go for Togos more than maybe once or twice a month, but for just two of us it is cheaper than buying all the ingredients to make your own. read more

This is the second time I have flagged this: This shop adds way too much lemon juice to preserve the avocado during prep. The result is inconsistent avocado that frequently makes my 24 (turkey and avocado) inedible. Worse yet, there is inflexibility when I flag my concern about the overpowering lemon juice. I've asked them to cut a fresh avocado to avoid this impact and the team has refused. We just picked up our lunch order, and I cannot eat my sandwich today without removing the avocado entirely. Togo's is my preferred sandwich shop near my work. I am a vegetarian so I can be more critical of the food offered at fast food establishments. Why do I choose Togo's over Subway or Mr Pickles? Simple: now that they've recently added pepperjack cheese (one of my fav's!) I can choose from 5 different cheeses & veggies all for under $5 for a regular size. Add a dollar for the combo with chips/soda. Mr Pickles: Last time I went there, the employee serving me was in such a rush to get me out the door, he either did not hear or was rushing too much to take note of how I explicitly said "no mayonnaise" and I received a groan when I walked back in to have my sandwich remade. Subway: This used to be my favorite place...but! I noticed an odd trend. Subway is so careless (this goes for multiple locations I've visited) that they have their cheese trays right next to the meat. Now, what happens is... its not necessarily the employees faults, but without thinking due to the arrangement of where the food is, if other sandwiches are made before mine when they grab meat to place on a sandwich, the juices from that will "drip" over the cheese trays which are often carelessly not covered. Thus, I can't recount how many visits in the past I would receive what I expected to be a vegetarian (NO MEAT) sandwich and it had the "juice/flavor" of meat all over it. Needless to say, Togo's keeps their items fresh. their cheese covered. the meat has its own compartments. veggies stay fresh. employees are very helpful & often remember me since I am a regular at lunch times. Quick take: Great if you are not in a hurry I love Togo's Sandwiches in general. Great bread and combinations. I came into this location on a Wednesday at 3pm. There was one customer in front of me at the time. There were more employees then customers. They had the longest conversation with this guy who was in front of me. He must of been a regular. It isn't rocket science when someone says they don't want mayo, or mustard, or anything else, I got my sandwich... with Mayo!!! The roast beef sandwich that Dave ordered was correct, but he too had to repeat himself 2/3 times to make sure they didn't include things he didn't want. What's happened at TOGO'S? Yes, they are slow, but most times worth the wait. However, with new policy change comes Trouble. They now ring your sandwich up before they make it! I went there the other night, 3 young guys working. Only one other customer there. They tell me the new policy and although I hate change, I went along for the ride. I look at the menu, see my fav for 7.25 , give or take a few cents, can't remember exact price, but I'm close. He ask me what I wanted on it, I say mayo, lettuce and onion. He says 14.75!!! I said, for one sandwich! The menu says 7.25. Oh he says, then the other guys takes over and realizes the register wasn't closed from the last, "ALMOST" sale.
