Rude af people and management. I ordered a double quarter pounder with a coke and later realized I got a McChicken. So obviously I went back and even after showing my receipt to management they still wouldn't correct my order. I even brought the McChicken back to hopefully just swap it out and after some time, I don't know her name, but the manager LITERALLY told me to fuck off and proceeded to walk away whilst I was standing there just baffled. After realizing I was talking with a bunch of dumbasses I just left and said fuck it... McChicken it is I guess... even though that's not what I ordered. But I properly "fucked off" and I genuinely hope everyone there loses their job and has a genuine hard time finding another one. Maybe then through that experience they will all learn how to better treat someone. read more

I love their breakfast. I eat there often. My favorite is their McGriddle. I would go there 3 times a week.

After a long concert and the traffic that ensues after, I just want to order and be on my way. This drive through has two order lines. "Oh cool", I think to myself, this shouldn't take long.Sigh. The two lines merge back into one before you reach the window. The lady with broken English, informed me to go to the 2nd window. Well, lame and tired me assumed the 2nd window meant the same as the window labeled 2. Nope. Now, even if this was a dork move on my part, here's what happened next. I realized no one is at window #2, and after sitting there, apparently no one is even walking 7 extra feet forward from the restaurant to just grab my credit card and give me the food. So, I call. Despite, a manager, male and female employee servicing the drive through, no one answers the phone for me to say, "Hey, don't toss my food. I'm right here." I try to start backing up, but others are scooting up to get their food that is taking forever. So, I drive around (the wrong way in the parking lot, actually) to go inside. Closed. Grrrrr. I get BACK INTO THE DRIVE THROUGH AND EXPLAIN WHO I AM AND WAIT AGAIN for the two lines to become one and pay at the 2nd or 3 windows that are still incorrectly or awkwardly labeled to receive my order. I surely can't be the only one who has done this... So, it takes 30 minutes in drive through to get my order. Then, I'm handed a 10 piece when I asked for a 20 piece. Mic drop. Worse McDonald's ever. Came here as last resort. First they were accepting cash only. Then we had to ask for total just to make sure we had enough cash to pay for the order. Guy at drive through repeats our order and then tell us to drive up. Get to the window just so the rude girl working the drive through window could shuffle her feet while rolling her eyes as she walked away because she had to go check why our order was incomplete. Said we owes $2 because the guy didn't charge us correctly. Mind you, he repeated our order prior to going to the window. She kept insisting we owed $2. I mean it's McDonald's so you will get McDonald's food. But if you go inside you will be asked about three times a visit if you can buy food for someone begging in there. It is super crowded. Many people here look sad and smell bad. The workers look just as sad and jaded. There is a security guard in here. I have seen security break up fights when someone drops someone else's fries to the ground. So don't go into this McDonald's alone. Always go in a group. Quickly pay and get out. McDonald's, McDonald's McDonald's. What do you want to know that you haven't heard already? Well, I'll tell you. This location is just South of Downtown LA- The Old Downtown and the new Downtown. It's adjacent to train tracks. Not that it matters. Sometimes, my wife and I stop there after we leave the Santee Alley on our way back home if we feel like we could use a quick snack. What I enjoy about that location is that we use to live not too far from it, so it kinda feels like home. As far as the menu is concerned, whatever you have a hankering for, you'll be filled. I like the fact that they offer breakfast any time of day and their Platter hits the spot. I like their Big Mac but wish it didn't come in a box. It's kinda of awkward to handle the sandwich. And to me, their fish sandwich has the best fish square I've eaten anywhere but it costs too much. OH WELL! If ever you should go there, let me know what you think. Thanks. read more

This is the McDs near my work, and i am what the corporation would call a "heavy user" (see "Supersize Me" documentary) at this particular location It's right across from the Metropolitan Courthouse and near the LATTC, so you'll always have a crowd of people going to court, to school or like me, workers in the nearby area. And it is PACKED until like 5pm during weekdays i gave this location 2 stars because i always have to check my order before i can leave. i have what Bon Qui Qui would call a "complicated order": no cheese and no pickles. Well, even though they verbally confirm my order and have them special labels on the box stating NO CHEESE and NO PICKLE, guess what...? Yeah, cheese and pickles. i'd say out of 10 of such orders, 4 have to be remade Sure, i shouldn't eat this stuff and i can avoid this restaurant, you might say. This place is a madhouse! Being one of the few places within walking distance of the courthouse I would assume so! After court session broke for lunch me and my friend walked across the street for lunch...as we walked in there was about 30 people mobbed in front of the registers!! It was either this...subway or some chinese place across the street. The good thing is that it seemed to be an organized chaos type of crowd. We were able to order our food quickly and received it quickly as well. They even have a secuirty guard at the door. As I have worked in restaurants most of my working life, I never expect a restaurant to have five stars: people are complainers, especially hungry people. I'd never go as far as saying "I'm never coming back" to a restaurant unless, something extreme happened to me, but I know I wouldn't say that for having to wait more than 5 minutes to be helped. This being said, I don't understand the big deal about this McDonald's. I came to get some food before heading to work and was greeted well by a girl waiting to help me with my order at the self order machine. She even told me to have a seat and that she will bring my change to me, and thank ed me for being there. That I have seen, the tables are clean, the floor is mopped, and the soda machine is orderly, the trash cans are never overflowing, and considering the amount of homeless people the employees have to deal with at day and night, they always greet me with a smile. I live down the street from this McDonald's and have never had a bad experience with the employees, or with the restaurant in general as I frequently visit this location. The only issue I see is that it can be pretty dangerous at night around this area, but guess what? I just go come here at night! Incineration central. Check your food before you drive away because this location has no issue sending out inedibly burnt food. And they're slick about it. Twice I sent it back for the exact same reason. I asked if it was a joke. If people in Westwood or in the valley don't have to eat charcoal why is this location feeding garbage to its ow neighbors and children. We often stop here for chicken nuggets after hitting the bars for drinks. The staff are not rude, but definitely not friendly either. It is often a slow process. You have to check your order before you leave, because something is often wrong. We keep going back though because the hours are convenient and it is the closest location. read more

Insane... This place was re-done during spring 2015... Everything is new now and no longer has as many crackheads hanging around which is nice for the extent of the area. I have hopes for the place because with the area becoming better, hopefully the re-done fast food spots can help draw a better crowd and possibly rid that of the grossness... But considering everything is new you would think things would be easier for the employees with servicing customers and handling food well, but do not let this fool you. I got my car towed from this McDonald's just because I spent 2 and a half hours inside the restaurant. I had to pay $224 for towing and ruined my day feeling extremely angry. What is there to really review at ANY Mickey D's? You basically know what you're in for when driving up to the golden arches. You either love it, hate it or don't care about the nutritional value. There's so many of them that you've tried at least one in your lifetime and the only real reason you write a review about it is because either you had a extraordinary experience or a shitty one. My bet is on the latter. My review of this particular McD's is a short one: I come here for my vanilla iced coffee, it's usually good when there is a certain employee working the drive thru but when she's absent it seems like all iced coffee making skills go out with her. Have been coming to this McDonalds since Spring of 2013 since attended the nearby college LATTC. Not so frequent the years after. This location by far has its unique attribute. You can build a burger by way of a touchscreen interface. The menu has had different items. One of which formerly the cheddar & Onion Burger which I used to order. Just a cheeseburger with grilled onion and white cheddar as opposed to the standard cheeseburger. So far of the many McDonald's this one, I don't like having had the most bad experiences. Primary just due to other patrons. I have been accosted(touched with no consent by the head by the shoulder, tugged from the shirt many times here. Mostly due to not handing money ranging from $5-$20, they crazy if I don't give. I still don't. One in every five visits mostly 2013 I guesstimate. No wonder this place had a security guard. Just visited again December 2015. Peaceful so far. Ordered the Pico Guacomole Burger with artisan roll and beef patty. Surprised that this McDonald's added a lemon underneath the burger wrapper. Wow. Blew the mind of every customer around. I just saw a recent review said they re-did this place...which helps reconcile in my mind how the total reviews could be so low. EVERYTHING is new, clean, open, fantastic. Self-serve touch screens allow you to order, customize and pay (with credit) without waiting in line. BIG, open bathrooms, auto water and dryers so there's not a ton of paper around. A PlayPlace so the kids can have fun, and, at least on my visit, no screaming kids or shady people. Very family friendly and a surprisingly pleasant experience! Also... free wifi. If I could I would give this place 0-stars. Went in just to grab coffee, it was around 9 pm. The floors were dirty so were the tables that weren't used. There were bums just hanging out and there were 2 wanna be security guys inside of the place. One was just staying in front of the registers and the other one was sitting in one of the tables close to the door talking to one of the employees. I called the location to get a better understanding of what happened with my order. The woman answered and I asked "if this location was currently closed?" which she just flat out hung up on me. I called again asking "I'm not sure why you hung up on me but I placed an order that was cancelled because the merchant was closed and if this location wasn't I would like to know why my order had been cancelled" she just continuously said she could not hear me and my phone was breaking up.
