Just went in tonight, 9/24 at 6:30pm and had absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced. We stood at the register for 5 minutes before my daughter pointed out there were computers we could order our food from. Meanwhile, there were 3-4 employees who made eye contact with us standing there and they didn't say ANYTHING. One kid asked his manager to come help us and he just looked at us and ignored us. Went right back to making food and getting orders together. When did customer service die? If you want us to rely strictly on robots to place our order then the least you can do is DIRECT me to the damn thing! On top of that the tables were filthy. Never coming here again. This McDonald's is my neighborhood McDonald's but I just refuse to support it any longer. Granted I don't eat a lot of McDonald's but when the kids ask for it or I feel like eating bad I would stop here. Over the past few months we have tried multiple times to use the app to order in advance. Imagine showing up after ordering 15 minutes prior only to be told the food is not ready and then watching people who showed up after you arrived and requested your order get their food. This happened the 3 times we tried to use the app to order. Tonight I showed up at 850 and just wanted to grab a cheese burger. The doors were locked. The tall skinny white kid at first ignored me. Then after acknowledging me came to the door and asked what I needed. When I saidnI wanted to order a burger. He said they were closed and refused to take the order. I'm done I will no longer ever support this McDonald's. If I want anything I will drive further away or just go to Happy Hound. That's where I went after I was refused service. This McDonalds is by FAR, the worst done in McDonalds experience I've ever encountered to my 50+ years! They're app never works correctly, and that means NO DEAL TIME FOLK'S, do don't bother trying to do it prior to coming in. Also if you manage past that aspect, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER PRIOR TO LEAVING THE COUNTER, and thank me later! By the way, look at my photo, on Yelp it says it closes in 13 minutes and it's 8:50am, I mean REALLY, the details are so overwhelmingly comical, that if I was the franchise owner, I would redirect ALL THE MANAGEMENT for corporate training, promotion to all the hard working workers there to managers, and get the tech guy out there ASAP! Only good thing about this is employees make a nice attempt and are good about cleanliness, masks, social distancing etc. Downside: 1. curbside pick up is great when it works. 3 out of 5 times their app is not working. Then I usually get charged twice and have to go in to get it fixed, which defeats the curbside service and not having to get out of my vehicle. 2. Every single time I ask for a tray or at least a bag for my multiple drinks. How do they think I am going to carry them all in? I need something & they never provide anything, even when I ask. They look at me like they don't understand English. Takes 2-3 trips to bring things in. 3. Order is usually cold & hard 50% of the time. I believe the items are sitting under the lamp too long. Food should be made to order and still be warm by time I get home a mile away. No traffic, literally 2 minutes away. 4. Every single time something with the order is messed up. Either fries are missing, wrong burgers, shakes have cream when not req'd, and 1 of 5 times I get the completely wrong order. I don't want to be anal, but if I continue to use this location, I will have to sit there, with the worker who brought it out and check everything completely before leaving. This place is...different. It's hard to tell why. It's old, really old. Clean but not well maintained. The staff here is very very nice, patient, gentle, calm. The crowd is mainly composed of old people. like really old people. Staff is on the elderly side too.. Only in this Mc Donalds I feel that I am in a different era when I step in... I wanted to go to Lou's nearby for breakfast but only had 10 mts so ended up here. No drive through! What? Looks like they have curb side pickup if you order online which is neat but I did not have time to figure it out so made my way in. There was a line inside including a large family that could not make up their mind. I asked for extra sugar and was refused more because according to the employee, she already had given me a lot, I offered to pay extra and she still refused. When I went to fix my coffee at the table, I can hear the employee bad mouthing me in Spanish to the manager, little did she know I also speak Spanish. I went up to the manager and says to her "I told her I would pay extra but now you as well are engaging in poor behavior, is this how you treat your customers when they ask for extra condiments?" I normally do not eat fast food and have not for years. But every once in a while fast food comes in handy and it's consistent no matter what city you are in. High standards of cleanliness and uniformity with well-maintained equipment produce food efficiently. Recently I had the occasion to eat at Mcdonald's in Los Gatos and I was impressed by the quality of my breakfast for the price. I ordered the "Big Breakfast", scrambled eggs, sausage patty, hash brown potatoes, biscuit with butter, and a medium orange juice all for about $8. After entering the restaurant I went to the marquee display and entered my order along with which numbered table I was sitting at, paid for it, sat down, and they brought it to my table. It tasted good and filling for the money. Looking forward to trying something different the next time I visit. read more

My first time back to this McDonald's since the remodel. Placed my order at Kiosk Side 1 at 2:30 PM there was sound like a printer but no receipt. Picked up one those numbers to placed on the table for the order. Finally an employee started calling out a number that I had no idea it was for my order. I ordered in but they put my order in a paper bag. The fries were very cold. The chicken sandwich wasn't much better, at least the chicken nuggets were good with bbq sauce. The Diet Coke had no ice and was flat. People bring in their screaming babies in and sit right behind me. An autistic little boy started pounding on a seat back cushion one table away from me. Then he started playing peekaboo while his father was placing an order at the same Kiosk I had used. I was curious to see if other people were experiencing the issue that I had with it. Stopped by for breakfast. There isn't a drive-thru at this location, I went inside to order. The restaurant was very clean and updated. The food was good and was in-line with the price paid. I always laugh at reviews that give food poor reviews at establishments of this grade. You should know going in not to expect more than basic tasting food. I ordered the Big breakfast, sausage McMuffin, hash browns, and an iced coffee. Total was $10.50. Great price for good food. The service was top notch. I never have high expectations of McDonald's, but wow, this location is just the worst. It's unfortunately extremely convenient, which means I subjected myself to it a half dozen times. Always much slower than the employee:customer seems to justify. Order wrong half the time. Today, I literally waited 25 minutes for my order; I checked it before I left to find a sandwich missing; the frozen drink was melted; and then I got home to find one of the "custom" sandwiches was 100% wrong. I'm done with this place. If it's neither fast nor good nor even accurate, there is absolutely no reason to eat here instead of one of the half-dozen other burger places in Los Gatos. read more

This place is the worst Macdonald in the area. They don't open on time, make mistakes on orders and some of the workers are lazy.

FIRST OF ALL IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! I had placed an order through my mobile app and when I got to the restaurant I was informed that my order did not go through even though I received an email that my card was charged. I then continued and placed the order again and was charged again and was told that there was no order received. I did this about 4 times and was charged 4 times and was always given the same answer. When I asked the manager about my order she responded in a rude manner and told me there was nothing she can do. I again tried showing her proof of my order and while explaining to her what was going on she walked away while I was still talking and told me "That's your problem not mine".  I asked the staff there if anyone else could help me and no one was available. I then asked if I could get their district managers or corporates number and they all refused to provide that information to me. Never have I experienced such rude and disrespectful customer service before I felt humiliated being left alone talking to myself in front of the entire restaurant. It's very unfortunate this is happening because this is the McDonalds closest to me but I would rather go elsewhere then be humiliated like this again. read more

Sad direction corporations are going in. This location has been renovated to be a slick computerized system. The employees are not engaged and do not care because the business does not depend on the them. How would anyone have job satisfaction in this sterile McDonalds world? The prices are outrageous and there is no drive thru. No drive thru probably because of local Gov do not allow drive thrus in this uber expensive zip code. One puts in an order with a computer. Than the CUSTOMER HAS TO DO HALF THE WORK but PAYS FULL PRICE to fill their own beverage cups, get condiments (if you want packets to take to go, you have to request them from spaced out employees) napkins (this location probably saves a bundle when people forget napkins) etc. The saddest thing is the trend. This set up removes the human element EVERYWHERE it can. This location and locations like it have no soul. This has McDonalds as a corporation as the only winner. Employees feel no worth and are disengaged and unhappy. Less people have employment and the few employees are not paid much. Went to this location after a long time. The place is renovated and it appears that there is more ordering automation. The crew there is absolutely useless. I ordered a Big Mac and it was assembled in a hurry - the upper half was empty. The sauces were rarely there. The chicken sandwich was rubbery and tasteless. Apparently, after remodeling, they redid their menu as well. Huh, no donut sticks anymore. Before this place remodeled, customer service was not that great. When I went to order donut sticks this morning, cashier cut me off before I could say the word "sticks" and just unapologetically told me "no more, we don't have that anymore." And she F#$KING walks away. This location is closer but I will venture further for better customer service. WORST McDonalds location I've ever been to since 1964. NO ONE was at the counter to take orders because a recent remodel is trying to make everyone use ordering screens instead. I tried that way once; never again. takes too long to input everything. Today they were out of DIET SODAS!! So my wife said, OK, I'll have iced tea. "We are out of tea". At that point, we left and went to Chick-fil-A, for a far better experience and food. The renovation is really nice. Their touch screen ordering stations are unique and handy... but they kept their same crappy soda machines. The mix is always off and you get more soda on your hand than in the cup. It's inconceivable that they didn't upgrade this during the time the place was closed. read more

My experience at McDonald's was stupendous. The cuisine was exquisite, a unique balance of flavor complimented by delectable appearance. The staff greeted me with dignity and grace while upholding the upmost respect towards a fellow customer. My mcchicken was of the best quality, complimented by a tangy yet robust ketchup used for dipping ones bun into. The russet potatoes were infused with a well balanced salt and oil combination giving the pallet a pleasant sensation. The nugget from the chicken had a unique blend of herbs and spices leaving you with the desire to want more. They were out of the Hollandaise sauce but I was able to compliment my nugget with the robust liquid from the honey comb. The sweet yet buttery texture was of the most pleasant touch on my tongue.
