We started with the Angry Chicken Plate, which came with rice and nicely charred chicken with a little kick. The CT Chicken Sandwich was one of my favorites--the chicken was crispy, tangy, and juicy, and the sweet and spicy original sauce paired perfectly with the pretzel bun. We also ordered the Half Chicken with Original Sauce, which came with plenty of meaty pieces that were nicely coated in their addictive sauce. The Army Base Stew was also delicious, with a flavorful broth and ramen loaded with ingredients. Overall, the chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Norwalk area. I'd happily come back to try more of their menu!

The sauce is the only thing that's holding the meal together, seriously; that's why they're charging you, because they know that you'd be asking constantly for it because of how bland the food is. Now to follow up with inconsistency, their sweet tea. It's either heavily sweetened or makes you do a double take that if you accidently poured from the unsweetened tea dispenser. The staff is fine, they do greet you and take your order. On my visit with my daughters before 4:30 PM, I ordered a frappe and ice cream, only to be told that the ice cream machine was "down." This has become a recurring issue, every time I visit this location during the day, I encounter the same excuse. It is frustrating and seems unlikely that the machine is consistently down during daylight hours. I have seen numerous discussions online regarding the maintenance of these machines, which only adds to my disappointment. Not to mention I've heard it from prior McDonald's employees -___- Additionally, I requested to purchase two separate toys without a Happy Meal. Despite my willingness to pay, I was informed that I could not buy them separately, which felt very unreasonable, especially since I have successfully purchased toys on their own in the past. Both of my daughters left without ice cream or toys, which is not the experience I expect from McDonald's. Maria, the manager on duty, simply stated that the policy had "recently changed" and showed little concern for my situation. I felt unheard and as if my patronage was not valued. As a resident of Norwalk and a parent, I find this unacceptable. I typically do not file complaints, but this experience has compelled me to reach out. I believe that customers deserve better service, especially given the wages that employees are earning. read more

One of the best McDonald's I've been too. Crew trainer CLARISSA took my order and was very friendly. She by far has the most greatest people skills/customer service. She very helpful to her coworkers and helps them out whenever a manager isn't around. Whenever I go to this McDonald's CLARISSA always has a smile on her face. Been coming here for over a year now and still don't know why she isn't a manager yet. THIS GIRL NEED TO BE A MANAGER. SHE KNOWS WHATS SHES DOING. This McDonalds was great when that manager Clarissa was working there! I was so bummed out when I found out that she's not there anymore. She was always super sweet, always made me laugh, made sure my order was always right, and answered any questions I had. She was a very kind manager! You guys lost a good one smh. I've noticed that she's the main manager that her employees would go to for help so I KNOW they were comfortable with her. And I know for a fact that she would've turned that place around! read more

We went late at night on 09/14/2024, something my family and I rarely do, and I was pleasantly surprised to have Malachi Arroyo take our order and execute it perfectly, all the while making jokes. He made me laugh, which I haven't done in a while. You could tell he was tired, but he was making the best of it. I've been in the restaurant business for 35 years, and I know a good one when I see them. Make this young man a manager, or risk losing him. We need more people like him in this world. read more
