    Honey Chicken (S) eh

Chicken place obviously that serves fried chicken as well as chicken rice bowls. I'd stick with the fried. I had the wings and they were fine. The bowls weren't really that good tho. Service was order at the counter and they bring it out which was good. Plenty of seating and clean.

    Chicken strips with original sauce

If you're going to be ordering multiple items, I suggest you order when you're ready to eat them. The chicken is quick to get cold. It arrives piping hot otherwise. The chickens strips had the feel and texture of raising canes strips, but lacking the strength that the canes sauce brings. Perhaps I'm not a the biggest fan of Korean sauces. I think that their spicy sauce (not the bbq one) was quite delicious. It was sweet with a tiny kick. Their French fries are quite good, they arrive seasoned. We ordered the spicy chile sandwich. It was packed with veggies, and the buns were very soft and moist. I wish I could've enjoyed it fresh out the fryer. It was very quiet and empty.

    Chicken Tenders

I came in craving crispy chicken tenders. In turn, I got a healthy high protein meal LOL. This is the most chickeny chicken tenders I've ever had. They definitely gave me over a pound of chicken. don't get me wrong, it was so delicious. But the batter to meat ratio I feel could be improved. If it had more batter for a crispy bite, the tenders would win me over. Still good though, especially if you're on a high protein diet. Service was friendly. Ambiance was clean and quiet.

As you guys know, I really love eating KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). Last night, I decided to try Chicken Troopers, located across the street from Coffee Code in Norwalk. Food: Ordered half size fried chicken with special sauce (C.T sweet and spicy with fresh white onion and cilantro). Got with cheese stick and soda. I took a bite of the chicken. Very different than any other Korean chicken shop I've been to. It got a pretty good kick to it. Spicy, but hella delicious. Half size fried chicken is more than enough for me to eat. Service: Employees here are so nice. They do check up and see how's the food was. Overall: I will be back to try some more stuff here. 5 stars!!!

    CT Chicken Sandwich

Okay, that was delicious! My husband and I tried their CT Chicken Sandwich - it was so flavorful and crispy. We demolished ours so quickly so that was the only photo I was able to capture. We also tried the half order of soy garlic chicken, which was just as delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was relatively fast, even if you do have to wait while they cook everything to order. It's a nice spot and it's clean although we took our order to go. I would highly recommend it!

Late post on this. Stopped by for work-lunch and was feening for some KFC(KoreanFriedChicken). Review is just on their Kimchi Chicken Sandwich. Gaaawdaawm was not expecting it ti be this good. This place is not a chain from what I understand, and there are literally hundreds of other Spicy Chimkin sando spots. This is legit on my Top 5. It was super fresh hot out the fryer. The kimcho and Jaw-la-puh-nose put it on a whole nubba-level. Have not tried other items but will def come back to try the stews and some of their fries. Place is small, with designated small parking, but street parking is available near by. Counter person was nice and they take their time so order ahead and avoid the 15 min wait.

    CYT chicken sandwich
    Joshua H.

Incredibly delicious CYT chicken sandwich. It is messy but worth it. Perfect tender juicy chicken accompanied by incredible flavor.

    Regret this purchase

Had the worst chicken sandwich ever. Bought two different types and they both absolutely sucked. They were soggy drenched in oil and had lettuce that tasted expired. What ever sauce they use is way too sweet and over powering and def needs some work. It tasted like they dunked my chicken in sweet and sour sauce and served it. It was overpowering, no crisp to the chicken just soggy overly sweet chicken. The fries here even sucked.. another item that was soggy and seemed to be drenched in oil. The fries tasted like they sat their all day they weren't even warm to touch it was room temp. And I ask myself out of all things how do you mess up fries? I bought a bunch of food wanting to really enjoy this new spot and all of it is going to the trash. Portions are huge but it's a big waste of money. I've never regretted trying a new spot until today. The oils on this meal was too much my stomach felt so uncomfortable after just the few bites we tried.

From the friendly service that made us feel like home, to the delicious food, everything hit the spot. We ordered the cold noodle, seafood pancake, bibambap, and short rib combo. All the dishes were so good! And all the banchan that came with it was the cherry on top. The only negative was the table was kind of small for all the dishes...though that could have been user error with us ordering way too much. Portions were surprisingly big, especially the seafood pancake. The whole time, our littlest one was making a mess and the ladies that worked there did not seem perturbed at all, and kept commenting about how cute he was and interacting with him. This type of service and response made us feel more at ease and able to "enjoy" our meal, and that makes a world of difference. I would recommend! Note the parking lot is a little small.

My mom also tried this place and recommended it, so I felt confident this would be a spot I would be coming often. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that.
