How do you run out of sweet tea? I go here and order only a sweet tea. They were happy to take my money but didn't tell me they were out of sweet tea. I sit there waiting at the pick up window for five minutes before they tell me they were out. I ended up getting a refund and leaving. I'll never go back. read more

Telepathic McCommunication Stopped by McDonald's on 16th Street and Glendale, Saturday, August 3rd around 11:15 am. We ordered our usual McDonald favorites and when we pulled up to the first window the young man just stared at us with his hand out. I was stunned by his McMuted and McChip on his shoulder personality. This gentleman extended his normal size arm and hand half an inch from the paying window. He was unmistakably trying to make me use my arms full extension to give him the money. It was his McDonald's cashier power play. "That customer is coming to me I'm not coming to him-attitude". He never greeted us, he never read back our order, he just gave us the McMuted McChallenging nonblinking eye stare with a side of some McNasty McDonald's cashier's silent sour attitude. I was like hummmmm okay that's some McDonald's supersized unfriendliness. It threw me off because usually, all McDonald's employees are pretty friendly, not Dutch Bros Coffee friendly, but polite and cordial. The experience only got more bizarre. When we pulled up to the next window to pick up our food we got a double helping of the same McSilent McBitter attitude. The gentleman picked up the bag of food with a bitter disdain look on his face and gave us a second helping of the short reach syndrome. I had to again reach out pretty far to grab the food while the gentleman was sheltering his entire body behind the left glass window. I then had to ask for the coke I had ordered and paid for, only to be met with a silent McStare and a large size angry McGlare. Not one word spoken at either window. I either need to brush up on my Telepathic McCommunication or some employees need more training dealing with the customers. read more

Fast and tasty. The iced coffees, double quarter pounder and Big Mac are my favorites. Fresh fries are also delicious.

Worst service ever Gil and his side chick Janet , my debit card does not have a chip and for whatever reason the card reader was not working I left with no food even though it was ready all because they were to lazy to manually run my card. read more

I was really down tonight after quitting my job this morning. I walked in to this McDonald's about 8:15 PM and was treated with great smiles and eye contact by Myla, who was training a new employee named Pedro. They were so nice that they made my day really better. The food was wonderful also (Smokehouse Burger and Strawberry Milkshake). Place was clean and everyone seemed happy. Just went to the drive thru here and got a quarter pounder delux and asked for a no sesame seed bun. I guess in McDonald's terms that means no bun at all? Seriously though this is the first place I have had that problem. Burger King understands. read more

The drive-thru is a motorists nightmare, so I hoisted my ass inside to get lunch. This has to be the friendliest McD ever. The employees don't just smile at customers, they smile at each other. Food was fast in spite of the place being packed. I'm a fan of the move able bench seats, too. If people have to wait, comfortable seating is an irrefutable kindness in a hard-chair world. Thanks to the friendly smile and hot fries, I'd pass by other fast food placed to go back to this one. read more

The drive thru attendant does not know how to add extra ice to a soft drink. Window #1 does not know how to manually add more soft drink to a cup. Zero management and severe lack of training. It's always something with this location. Hopefully ownership reviews their yelp reviews because management obviously does not! read more

I brought my iced coffee here for an exchange because it tasted bad. Sofia did everything she could to get it right. She made a new one, that didn't work, she offered to put more caramel. That didn't work, she offered a different kind. That didn't work. But the entire time, she didn't give me attitude or get annoyed with me because she had to keep remaking it. She even apoloigized. Hell it could've been me, but she said, it could be we need to remake the coffee. She was very helpful - Thank you! read more

Okay, the 5 stars is for one thing and one thing only. My diet coke first thing in the morning. I don't know why McDonald's diet cokes are so good, but they are the best fountain cokes around. This location is nice in the early mornings to get in and out. Be careful later in the day as the drive thru gets very congested due to the location. read more

Longtime fan of this cozy, neighborhood spot, but dont like the remodel or recent spike in personnel turnover. For decades I could walk in here, be greeted by familiar, generally effective employees and relax for 10 mins in what amounted to semi-private, booth style seating. Now booths are ripped out in favor of cheap little tables jammed on top of each other, with crappier chairs and stools. And the order line feels more like a regional training center. I dont blame the employees. Nobody's been rude and it seems most everyone's trying. But the resulting vibe is less inviting, cookie cutter corporate, kind of like an airport location. Oh and you dont need to carry my food to my table. I dont come to MacDonalds for table service. I come for a hello or a smile, an efficient order and seven to eight minutes where I can eat your sandwich without strangers in my lap. read more

Ordered a simple burger and fries with a McFlurry. Was asked to pull around and park because they were "waiting on fries" which should never happen at McDonald's. Me and 3 others waited 15 minutes for food before an employee who didn't know what belonged to who came out and confusedly handed out food. When I got mine he didn't have the McFlurry so I waited another 5 minutes for that 10 minutes for that before having to go inside and ask for it as the guy completely forgot. All around awesome experience. Also expressed to the employee that my experience was terrible and he just ignored me. read more

Horrible customer service and wait time. Told them I was on the was to a doctor's appointment and can't afford to wait long for the food after I've already waited 10 mins in line. They force me to pull around so they can get the other orders they have ready behind me out because they are more concerned with their ticket time than the customer. Hash brown was cold as well. TERRIBLE SWEET TEA. I've been to this location on multiple occasions and ordered sweet teas, and they are made wrong every time. They're either accidentally made with the coffee mix, or too watery. I gave two starts because the staff at this location are nice and professional, but they just can't get the sweet teas right. read more

1015pm drive through was not open. All lights inside and computers were visibly on. Employees were not helping customers. Literally told us they weren't open. Hours on door say it closes at 11pm. Read reviews on google that this location was notorious for it. Just bad managers and poor employee work ethic I guess. Lost on at 6 cars in the 4 minutes I spent figuring out what was going on at this supposedly open location. read more

The service is ok and fast like most McDonalds but the food however is always so-so. The other Morning I got my what was supposed to be Sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and it was Tomato and Egg on a biscuit. Thats not even on the menu. So needs better management to watch the cooks. I don't understand what is the issue with some of the women who work here in the morning. You stand at the register for about five minutes for the person to come up to the register and look at YOU in disgust Like I'm bothering her morning. I'm glad there's another location on my way to work because at least they make me feel like they actually want my business there.. Today, I waited 15 minutes before getting to the drive thru window. At the window, I was unapologetically informed to drive around and park. I asked the young lady, " how much longer will my mcgriddle take?" And she said, "pull around". Ok. As I waited, next to another waiting customer, I asked a rather obese employee how much longer and said I only had five minutes before I would have to drive off. She snarled, "I'm getting it!". Another nightmare experience at the worst run McDonald's in Metro Phoenix. I decided I wanted a small snack after leaving the gym. Ordered some nuggets and fries. With only three cars in front of me, and 20 MINUTES LATER, I finally got my cold nuggets, and cold fries...oh and the large fries I ordered was only filled half way, so I paid for a large and got a medium. This store has turned the simplest of jobs into rocket science. The lack of training here should be embarrassing to the management and staff. Trained chimpanzees would do a better job. read more

While the drive through service is great at this location, going in to eat was another story. Went in on Saturday around 2pm. The lady that took our order was not paying attention and was turned around talking in Spanish to what looked to be her manager the whole time. We held out our card for a while before she turned around to continue processing our order and really made us feel like we were bothering her. Everyone continued to goof around and speak only Spanish very loudly. I understand if there is no one inside but to continue to crack jokes/laugh in another language in front of guests is inappropriate. I will never go in to eat here again. read more

This McDonald's restaurant does not give good customer service! I ordered a breakfast meal via uber eats (because I did not bring my lunch to work). Well, I left specific instructions for McDonalds on my order and was not at all what I ordered. All I wanted was milk in my coffee and my coffee did not come with any milk!! And I ordered specific instructions for my sandwich.. they did not honor that either! I called asking if they can redeliver my food with the right order and they said no! I am sorry but Kendall (manager), you need to learn how to treat your employees better. This is not exceptional customer service and sure is not worth the $8 I spent... what a rip off. read more

For fast food, list location is pretty nice. They get you in and out pretty quickly and I've never had a problem with the food. It also feels cleaner than most fast food restaurants I've been to. Maybe because it's a fairly newer location. My son would give it five stars because he loves their happy meals. I like their grilled chicken wraps a lot and their coffee is also very good. When I'm craving iced tea you can't beat their $1 pricing. Overall I'm a fan! As good as fast food can get! read more

It is difficult to get to the drive thru and the parking lot was congested. The line was short and the staff was friendly . However we had to wait for their nuggets. There is only one spot to wait but there were three cars waiting. The person delivering was all confused. He dropped off the meal then tried to take it out of my car . I love this location. Everyone is really nice. And the speed of the service is amazing. You may be the 7th car in the drive-thru, but you will place your order, pay, and receive your food in 5 minutes. Same goes for when you're inside. There is limited seated inside, but there's usually not a long line and you get helped and served right away. Right now I live within walking distance, but if I moved further away and there was another McDonald's that was closer to me, I would still go out of my way to go to this one. read more

Service was fast. The food was freshly prepared. I was happy with the cleanliness. Monica, the counter person was exceedingly helpful.

Where to start? First off, apparently the employees don't know the products they are selling. I ordered the same thing I have ordered for the last year, and the drive through attendant told me they did not have the combo I was trying to order. I then informed them I had ordered the same thing just days earlier and they insisted the item didn't exist. I had to drive to the closest McDonald's where I ordered the same thing, and they were able to ring it up with no problem. Secondly, at night time, this McDonald's has had me pull forward to the parking lot to wait for fries or nuggets. Before pulling off, I specifically remind the attendant to include the BBQ sauce that I ordered. I trusted that their memory span was long enough to remember the BBQ sauce when the fries or nuggets were finished within the 2-3 minutes they asked me to wait, but no, multiple times and multiple failures. These employees want their wages to be $15/hr, they can't even remember to put some BBQ sauce in a bag after 2 minutes have passed. Not sure if it's mgmt, lack of attention to detail, or no respect for their customers, but I will no longer be visiting this restaurant because of the ongoing issues they seem to be having. read more
